Located in a cul-de-sac surrounded by the crowded stalls and storefronts of the
Freemarkets, a small circular platform stands in an open pavilion. Theatrical
lights accent the stage, and various audiovisual equipment is integrated into the platform, though currently no performers occupy it. A pallet of crates containing emergency relief supplies— blankets, first aid materials, rations, and water—stands to the west of the performance area. A handful of harried-looking relief workers in bright orange safety vests tend to dozens of injured and panicked individuals of several different species.
A yoski, looking suspiciously like Dot is directing people left, right and straight ahead, while no less that six smaller yoski dash around her feet. However the press of people is causing her some difficulty.
"Over here, my husband got burned by the coffee machine!" cries one woman. Elsewhere a (manual) truck with "emergency supplies" is backing up the the aid station, but in danger of being swamped by the people.
Lots of things for you to do here, you may each pick one activity to try, or you could aid another PC
Calm the crowd - diplomacy or profession(counselor or psychologist) - stop the panic
Direct the masses - diplomacy (or intimidate) to get them into lines
Help the doctors life science or medicine
organise supplies perception or survival.

Seeing the doctors needing help Makai heads there.

The Starfinders operate like a well oiled machine. Bandages are applied while the crowd is quickly cowed into helping unload the supplies. Just as things seem calm for the first time since the train started to accelerate...
Cries break out in the crowd which starts to rapidly dissipate at the sound of sudden machine gun fire ...four?... things... blobs.... start to ooze toward the starfinder team.

Makai stands ready, her laser trained. Vaal doesn't wait and fires. Splat. It looks singed. Hagita moves up to intercept the blobs while Mega takes out a menacing looking glass elevator. Can't be too careful about those bits of high tech.
As the blobs close in on Vaal and Hagitha, Makai opens up, singing the red one.
The red blob tries to attach itself to Vaal, while the green ones strikes out with a psudopod. Nearby more machine gun fire can be made out.

Makai looks at the blobs and aims with her gulchgun, smoke still coming from the gun. Instead she runs forwards and aligns nanites around her. Her tattoo of Angradd begins to shine brighter as she extends her hands and flames flies forwards wrapping red and pink blobs

Makai thinks these are polyphonic gels. Creatures that feed on sound. A quick glance shows a broken window in a music shop. Using sonic energy against them is probably not a good idea.

Don't post late at night, it was actually Mega they hit. I also missed their reflex saves.

Makai brings heat from nowhere, and two of the blobs boil. It sounds like a volcano exploding in there. They still keep moving though. Mega continues the heat based assult, with the green blob making loud popping sounds.
The red and green blobs take advantage of Mega's shooting to try and attach to him.

The drone destroys the blue blob. It sprays everywhere with the sound of water going down a plug hole.
Mega has less success with green. Hagitha however does burn it.

The sound of a sizzling steak fills the air as it too finally stops moving.

With the blobs dealt with, you finish setting up the relief station and the crowd slowly gathers once more.
Where to now? Back to the cars? Onto Security resources pavilion? Or head onto the Lorespire complex?

Given the frantic state of the area and new problems emerging on a regular basis, there is not enough calm here at the moment for a ten minute rest.
The scenario specifically limits ten minute rests to certain specific times/places. And this is not one of them.

The car is there, and without too much difficulty you get it back on the tracks and speed down them to the station by the security pavilion. The "Merc Lurk" as it is colloquially known is busy, busy, busy.
You can make out more than a dozen squads... in an unusual mix of uniforms forming up and heading off to provide assistance. Everyone seems very busy and important.
You would need to do an intimidate or prof(mercenary) skill check to get someones attention if you want to speak with them.

A shirren stops, turns and offers Hagitha a glare, followed by a sigh.
"A group of robotic assets... black and silver constructs, attacked this area. Right before all the tech went haywire. We had multiple groups of automated security assets either shut down or beave erratically, but these black and silver ones were different. I didn't recognise them as belonging to any of our member companies..."

"Black and silver constructs? Did you recognize their type? Were they sentry droids, assassin droids? All-purpose droids?" asks Makai
"Where are they now? Did you handle the situation?"

She shakes her head. "Nope, didn't recognise them." she says. "But keep an eye out for them..." she finishes in mid sentence as there is a series of explosions from behind a nearby building.
Groaning she yells "Come on. Back me up!" as she runs toward the sound.

Zipping around a corner you come to a terrifying sight.
On a display stand is a massive technological marvel. A large sign proudly displays the name "MobSec-21" Where moments ago, the robot stood silently looking like a rather menacing museum display now it starts to move. The crowd gives a collective sigh of terror and disperses. One almost hopes the marketing department eventually get there hands on security camera footage.
Electricty crackles around its hammer like fists as it reaches down to smash someone paralyzed with fear. As they fall the electricity arcs to another nearby bystander who stands sizzling before falling to the ground.

That mech is still a prototype. But Maki has read a bit about it in the promotional material. One of the features it has is the abilty to electrocute multiple targets with a single hit.
