OK. I'll do that - just in case something else happens.
She starts to head back to the bridge, but decides to take over from auxillary control. It was closer.
Seggas Yakan, DVM DMD

Darkrunner identifies the malfunction locations in the port bow hold.
Who's going where?
I think Sturm should be taking the lead, tanky boy that he is. Seggas would follow him up. Darkrunner and El'zar might take the side corridor. Gava and Amy could take the other, unless she wants to stick near the pilot controls.
Seggas gives Amy a smile as the human passes by. "Thank-you for coming back here with me." She leans in a bit closer and then whispers something into Amy's ear with a wink.
Amy Mercury
|
Amy looked rather confused by Seggas's whisper but whispers back.
I better monitor the systems in case something else goes wrong. she concludes.
Gava Son of Emer
|
Gava takes the east side corridor, followed by the delegate. He'll ride on the ground, blocking her from any harm (except area attacks) - if things go terribly wrong, his mount can take the beating as they escape on foot.
"Alright, we're in position - y'all can move forward!" he sends via comm unit.
"These fellas are extra-cautious! Must've seen some rough times before! But I doubt this will amount to much" he whispers back to the delegate, making small talk.
Sturmvanger
|
With everyone in position, Sturmvanger moves forward, heading through a pair of double doors, squeezing along the hallway beyond until it opens up, slipping through a single door, then across some sort of sitting room before ducking quickly through another door, crossing a cargo bay then getting to another set of double doors.
He checks his Doshko again then opens up those doors, ready for whatever is beyond. If it's nothing, he signals El'zar and heads toward the cargo bay near Gava, waiting for everyone to gather up before throwing those doors open.
| DM Carbide |
It takes Amy a bit to uncover the panels in the auxiliary control room, and as she works the rest of the party advances. Sturmvanger is just approaching the double doors in the north end of the central hold when he thinks he hears a grinding sound, followed by a thin, high-pitched giggle. El'zar and Seggas hear the sound of doors opening up ahead, grinding to a halt partway through their opening cycle, followed by the same tittering noise the dragonkin heard. The lights flicker.

Seggas starts to move forward and the realizes that Sturm isn't moving yet either. She gives a small alert along the group comms. "Sounds like there's something in there. I think we might have to fight something up ahead, look sharp."
She then loads something into her gun and fires it into the rump of Sturmvanger. A small glob of acid lands on his scales and then slips into the spaces between them, rapidly getting absorbed by his blood stream. As it does, his skin underneath the scales seems to harden for a few moments.
Basic booster to grant Sturmvanger a +1 to AC for 3 rounds.

Gava hears a disapproving tut! from the delegate at the sound of a lethal weapon activating. The android manages to take his target unawares and wings it, but the laser appears to do it no damage. It instead glances off of the creature's wings and into a bulkhead, where it apparently damages an important conduit in the power distribution network for the ship. Debris cascades down between the android and his target. The three blue squares on the map are now Difficult terrain. All three of the creatures emit high-pitched giggles, and chitter back and forth in a language that none of you understand.
Seggas, it looks like you haven't picked out languages yet.
The red one flies towards Gava and looses a cone of intense heat at the ysoki, incidentally catching the delegate! Take 9 points of heat damage; DC 14 Reflex save for half. The delegate manages to avoid the worst of the blast. The other two send twin electrical discharges at Darkrunner. The operative avoids one, but is struck by the other for 3 HP electrical damage.

Seggas rushes into the hallways and finally gets a gander of the gremlins. She reaches into her pack and pulls out a small vial of something marked with a pictogram of an unhappy scale less vesk. She pauses her smooth practiced motions and looks back at Sturmvanger.
She dumps the contents of the vial into the mass of biomatter glomped onto her hand that is her gun. She lines up a shot with the gremlin in yellow as a muzzle like appendage extends from the living matter and fires a glob of acid with some kind of spiky fluid filled sack in the center.
BioBolter (Castrolance) vs EAC: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

I forgot to describe it earlier, but Seggas's gun was 'manufactured' by Lethal Industries making it a living weapon!
As the glob land on the gremlin's armor the acid quickly burns through the material and the sack sticks itself into the creature and drains its contents into the fey like thing. A few moments later the creature's skin starts to thin to the point it becomes translucent.

Still surrounded by wisps of smoke from Gava's attack, the green gremlin flies as Seggas and bites at the drow, but its fangs can't get through her armor. The other one gestures, and suddenly the deck under Sturmvanger turns slippery. DC 14 Reflex save or fall over.

Amy's sonic attack damages the weakened tissues of the yellow gremlin. El'zar's knife is deflected into a bulkhead, where something arcs before the knife returns to the mystic's hand. A moment after the knife leaves the bulkhead, there is a crackling sound, and another several piles of debris rain down in the area. She also needed to be able to deliver a retrovirus charge so that the better non-lethal forces could get to work. Apologies if the damage was upsetting." She then turns back to the fight as Bii starts to humm with a sound not unlike a purring cat. She moves away from the green gremlin and tries to line up an accurate shot as she fiddles with a few polyps on 'Little Bii.'
She then shoots a much milder look form of acid at the green gremlin, hoping the thing doesn't hit her in return.
