huh, wonder if that will work on PC Firefox?

Lastwall Heroes - Current Date: Toilday, 31 Desnus, 4711 AR | Shadowrun - Current Date: Saturday, March 13, 2060

It is possible to delete site data for only one site on PC Firefox. I had to do it to get back online.

Settings->Privacy and Security

Go to Cookies and Site Data, select *Manage Data* (not clear), then find Paizo and opt to remove the data, and save the changes.

However, after that you'll still need a hard reload. At least, I did. (CTRL-F5)

Sorry all,
Been busy with work,
DESPITE supposedly being 'off' for the Mardi Gras insanity, I mean break. :P

Sorry all, but Im BUSY ('overwhwelmed' is probably a better choice of words)

I can only check a few times a week at most right now.
I'll try to keep up,

Sorry for the absence.

Sorry!
Rough year, busy, Stupid busy,
(And sometimes just plain stupid)

I swear I think I'm checking my threads every couple of days, and realize it has been a week! :P

And not getting better anytime soon, still way understaffed with student workers to run shows, and I got drug into being in a community production of the Producers (Which I love) but I didn't get a lead (which made me sad) but with understudying TWO of the leads, plus all my ensemble roles, I have to memorize the entire script!

Yeah, still stressing out. Sorry, I'll try to check more often, but we open this coming weekend,.... soooooooo,...... yeah. I'll try. :P

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Hello Again! :)

Well, I survived opening weekend!
Now only 3 days of 'normal' work-insanity to go before we start our 2nd week of the run,... ;P

See you all often as i can! :)

AND I'm back!
More or less sane. (More 'Less' than 'More')

The Producers is OVER.
NOW I only have to deal with the USUAL insanity of running a busy auditorium.
Oh yeah, AND i have less than a month to help a couple of Performing arts students get some intense fight choreography down before the end of the month. (Very serious drama, very uncomfortable, intimate violence. NOT really my favorite thing.) ;P

Oi. It. Just. Never. Stops!
>_<

OK, enough whining, catching up now! :)

Hey all!

Forgot to post, (Just got home from work, 10:30pm)
I am leaving at the crack of stupid in the morning. Going to visit the Daughter and see if the Rat (Disney College Program) is treating her well. :)

Be gone for the week.
Honestly, going to be too busy to post. :)

See you all when I get back!

Dude, you're literally going to Disney World. Much jealous.

LOL, Spent as much or more time in Universal as Disney.

Still,...
I highly suggest a couple of the new rides at disney movie studios.
Rise of the Resistance, obviously, and the Smugglers run where you get to fly the Falcon is a must for old nerds like me.

The new toy story area has some fund stuff in it, and the new Chinese movie theater ride, 'Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway' (replaced the original Great Movie ride) which is Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and you on a crazy ride is fun.

My daughter says that the Remey the Rat ride (the employees just call it 'The Rat') in Epcot is also good.

Funny, the Rise of the Resistance, Mickey & Minnie's, and Remy are ALL trackless rides. You are riding along in a giant remote controlled car. :)

FYI- I'm back,... physically anyway. Between exhaustion from teh trip, and busy work, mentally will take a few more days. :)

Lastwall Heroes - Current Date: Toilday, 31 Desnus, 4711 AR | Shadowrun - Current Date: Saturday, March 13, 2060

Those are all good rides, having experienced them when we were there over Hallow'een last year. We did Smuggler's Run like 3 times using the single rider line.

Actually, funny story,... (I hope) ;P

(bear with me, You KNOW I never use a sentence when paragraph will do!) ;)

I only went to Disney Studios for one day during Easter/Spring break, and they have the new Toy Story Land and Star Wars land,... So yeah, lots to want to see,... And crowded,...

When we arrived, the line for Rise of The Resistance was already 2 hours long. I figured 'What the heck, I'm not leaving today until Ive ridden all of these new rides, I'm going to be in line for a while, might as well start now'. So we did. :D

We rode all the Star Wars rides, (Rise, Smugglers Run, and the original (if updated) Star Tours), Then did the new Mickey & Minnies Runaway railway (My wife';s new favorite ride) ;)

Finally managed to grab a reservation for a restaurant, (50's diner, not the Sci-Fi Drive In I had wanted, but at least the food is good)

Now realize that they were so crowded, that ALL things require a reservation to get into, during a holiday, Food, Build lightsabers, droids, etc. I had been trying since the night before to get both a restaurant Reservation and a Droid Depot spot.
About 5pm, after trying for the 100th time, we had just finished eating, and a spot popped up for a build a droid spot. I hit the 'GIMMEE' button so fast and hard I thought I was gonna break my poor phone. :P

We rode a couple of more rides, including the new Toy STory Land target shooting game ride. Then my wife was going to ride Slinky dog (She only does kiddie coasters) ;) but it started raining.
So My daughter took pics as I built a droid, and my wife relaxed.

Right as I finished my droid it started raining, Then it rained hard, as it only can in Florida and Louisiana sometimes it seems. Despite teh ponchos We were soaked in short order. On our way out we noticed that Rise was doen to 45 minutes.
What teh hey, we're already wet. lets do it again!
When we got off, it was still raining, (hard) and the line was only 30 minutes! (Which is basically walk-on if you consider that most of that is the 'preview, get you to the real ride' scenario you go through.
So we did it again.

AND the moral of the story?
yes, despite the holiday crowds, and the popularity of new rides, I rode Rise of the resistance THREE times in ONE day! :)

And I 'made' a new friend. ;P

Lastwall Heroes - Current Date: Toilday, 31 Desnus, 4711 AR | Shadowrun - Current Date: Saturday, March 13, 2060

Wow, nice. We were staying on property so we rushed to the line in the "early entry" thing -- and even with that it was already 30 minutes when we got there -- which wasn't bad, except that my mother (and sister) who was travelling with us got lost -- so we ended up having to wait for them - and, of course, more people kept filling in behind us. (There was no jumping them ahead to where we were).

Still, all good -- and Hollywood Studios is always crowded. ;)

Looking forward to going back to try the Guardians of the Galaxy ride opening next month in Epcot. Whenever I manage to do that.

As a DCP, my daughter is getting to ride the New Guardians ride. They are asking the DCP for feedback on it before they open it to public.

She says she loved it. :)

I’m going in June with the whole fam (14 in all). Trying to coordinate restaurants, etc. is a major undertaking.

Hours in line? I'd be outta my head.

When I was a kid, we'd get there before the gates opened. Once we were all in, I'd flat-out run to the back of the park and start working the rides towards the front. I could get multiple runs on some rides before the Walking People arrived.

Seems like Paizo is slow to display new posts. Again.

OH yeah, the lines are getting ridiculous.

Wosrt part was, while waiting (about 4 years ago?) in a 4-HOUR line for the new Avatar ride at Animal Kingdom, A Disney worker insisted to me that all was well, and that they had PLANNED it this way.

My immediate, knee-jerk response was,
"Well then your plans SUCK!" ;P

And yes, I said that part out loud. :)

Lastwall Heroes - Current Date: Toilday, 31 Desnus, 4711 AR | Shadowrun - Current Date: Saturday, March 13, 2060

We used the early get-in hours thing to go at open, so we only needed to wait like 35 minutes and 20 minutes (2 days). That said, we didn't get to do the river thing - we had a breakfast reservation to make.

I will say the new G+ thing makes the waiting crap, though -- got stuck in line for like 90 minutes (posted 40) with a 4-year old to go on Peter Pan because there were so many people who paid to jump the line that the actual line stopped.

Wait... you can bribe the Mouse?

Disney's getting more like Chicago every day.

Lastwall Heroes - Current Date: Toilday, 31 Desnus, 4711 AR | Shadowrun - Current Date: Saturday, March 13, 2060

Yeah.

After axing FastPass at Disney World during the Pandemic, they brought in a system that's more like what they had at Disneyland, apparently, where you pay $15 a day to be able to try to get a spot in the accelerated line.

Also, the two best (or newest) rides at each park aren't on the list of rides you can get that way, instead, those you can pay to play directly.

It's... well, not my favourite, in any case.

Yeah,... It works great, in THEORY,... ;P

Of course, all of this USED to be for FREE,... :(

You pay $15 per day (Per person!) to have access to the fast lane, 'BUT you have to RESERVE your time in advance, starting at 7am the day of. But of course by the time you try to get in, everyone else has already taken all of the time slots. You might get a late time, if at all.

Add to that you can only reserve 2 time slots at once, and you cannot reserve another until you have used one of your first 2, and of course all of the time slots for all rides are already gone,...

Yep. You can bribe the rat. And STILL not get into a ride any faster than just using the normal lines. :P

Lastwall Heroes - Current Date: Toilday, 31 Desnus, 4711 AR | Shadowrun - Current Date: Saturday, March 13, 2060

One. It's one time slot. And then you can book another after you use it, or 2 hours later (starting from when the park opens).

So, basically, you pay, have no guarantee to have any access to the rides that you want (even though that's the whole point) -- or, if you do, it'll be super-late -- and, of course, you *can't* access the big rides.

....or you get up early and take advantage of the bonus half-hour and the fact that there's less traffic in the parks at rope drop.

One time slot?
Funny, when I was there they said two slots at a time.
And of course you can book another after you used one of your first two, (But with all of the slots taken, you can rarely, if ever, get another slot)

OR you can do what I (sort of) did, wait until people start to leave at 5 ish because the kids are tired and cranky, or the weather turns rainy, and get into much shorter lines! ;P

Either way, like you said, you are paying to use shorter lines, and get NO guarantee that you will even be able to do so! :(

Still better than Universals current system.
you pay for fast lane passes, and get to walk straight into it, BUT it cost approx $360 while was there during a holiday week. Per person/per day. O_o

I heard they went down $100 bucks once the holiday week passed. -_-

I am in the WRONG business. That's all I'm sayin'! ;P

Sorry, (seems like I am ALWAYS apologizing!) ;P

Been busy, week-long rental. And its not really going to slow down much.
Maybe in BRIEF spurts. Everyone came back from Covid with a vengeance, and wants ot do shows again!

OI vey,
It never rains, but it pours!

FYI all, not only am I my usual busy, but I caught Covid. Again. :(

So if I vanish (Again) it aint on purpose I swear! :)

~Rags

Lastwall Heroes - Current Date: Toilday, 31 Desnus, 4711 AR | Shadowrun - Current Date: Saturday, March 13, 2060

Wow, Rags. That's unfortunate. Hopefully it passes quickly.

Also, blah blah, power, blah week -- pretty sure you've all seen me complain about it elsewhere.

Silver Crusade

Male Celestial Cleric of Myself 10/Radiant Servant of Me 10

You and me both, Rags. Although it's a first time for me.

LOL
Well count your blessings!
It pretty much sucks no matter how many times you catch it. :P

Also, My Primary Care Dr prescribed a medicine for me, but it was taking a while to fill.
SO I went to the ER and (after several hundred $$ and 6-7 hours of my life) got the Infusion treatment again. And it worked!

BUT the med I was too impatient to wait for was the new 'antiviral' actually the Anti-COVID antiviral that you can take at home.

SO waiting a little longer would have saved me at least a couple hundred $$ AND 6-7 hours of my life! :P

I am an old idiot. :P

Sorry, RL is,... ARRGH!

That is all.

;P

Wizard

Sorry for continued vanishing act.
I'm keeping up best as I can. Honest. :)

RL is just being SO,... ARGH! right now.
A real.
Pain.
In.
The.
@$$.
(Literally)

Busy at work? Check.
Son college orientation this week? Check.
I RUN the Auditorium where they HOLD Orientation? AND my workers are ALL getting sick? DOUBLE Check.

And, just because you are all online friends. And I'm an oversharer anyway,...;P
(Only read if you really wanna know how someone is doing when you ask "How are you?!?") ;P

Spoiler:
:
SO let's play "Good news/Bad news with Rags!"
BAD news- Rags has Cancer. Again. (Prostate this time.)
GOOD news- It is the least aggressive kind I could have, AND it is so small an amount it was almost missed by the testing samples.
BAD news- good or bad, the treatment is the same. Only the urgency of the treatment changes. :P And surgery recovery is measured in weeks. I dont have weeks I do not have something happening at work. :(

So, I WILL be fine. Guaranteed.
It's like taxes. You pay them all through the year, but you STILL have to do the paperwork to prove it. ;P
Same thing. Basically.

SO, If i vanish (again) I apologize in advance. Just dealing with LIFE. Positive and otherwise.

See you in the game! :D

Forgot to mention - I am away at the House of Mouse this week. Check ins will be limited.

Have fun! :)

Camping and stuff.

Just a note,
Forgot to mention that I am leaving early in the AM to see my Oklahoma family for a week.

I will try to check in, but personal/internet time will probably be minimum at best.

I'll for certain catch up when I get back!

Happy 4th of July grilling to all! :)

I AM back BTW.
(Physically at least) ;)

Made it safe and sound, just had to jump right back into work. (BIG surprise there!) ;P

Catching up.

Hope all are well!

Feel free to bot Dawni -- she's a low-level paladin, her stats are accurate, so everything should mostly be straightforward.

Got it! ;)

To be fair, facing used to let you lead horses down hallways. Now they're all 10' wide.

I still liked the little hexes showing changes to AC for each face, depending on if it was a face with a shield or the fighter's unprotected back.

Much easier to skip facing.

Yup. Back when backstabbing meant something, too. Didn't need to flank.

Ah yes, the good ol' days,...

That we all b!@#$% and moaned about, but we DO occasionally miss! ;P

I honestly can't figure out how to do a 'straight' charge, with either square OR hex maps!
(they did a bit on that when the rules changed in the 'Order of the Stick' webcomic)

EDIT- "You young whippersnappers! I remember when all we had was THACO! And we liked it!"

(That is a blatant lie. NO one liked THACO. We didn't understand why the same company that used THACO in D&D, used almost the exact same system in Gamma World, but with NO THACO)
;P

Howdy!

So the wizard will be out the rest of the week, I have to go and rescue my daughter from the Evil Rodent Empire.

(She has been at Disney College Program since Jan. Time for her to come back to the real world. Or at least back to University!) ;P

So, I will TRY to be online occasionally, but I probably won't have the time.

See you next week!

I was rather thinking that if we braved the acid cloud and could bag him (and then wrap it), we could bring him to a church of Torag or Brigh (or similar) and have them throw some make whole at him.

That said, it's almost all about Dawnilea not wanting to kill an innocent - even if it's not really alive - especially when its current state is based on someone's evil plan. Because, you know, Lawful Good and all that.

Oh, yeah, I'm definitely not looking to /disable/ it, despite the skill name... hoping rather that Thaddeus can figure out how to fix it.

OK< The Wizard has returned from 'rescuing' his daughter from the Evil Giant Rodent Empire.
(AKA= Disney College Program)

I had to drag her back kicking and screaming, but I have returned.

Well, PHYSICALLY at any rate.
MENTALLY may take a few more days. :P

As soon as I catch up on my REAL work, I'll work on My pbp's! :)

Amantius is the guy everyone avoids at parties.

LOL<

That last line of that last entry by Dm just slammed me into a flashback big time. It was like reliving every single early PC fantasy game in the 80's all at once! :)
