Sorry, Seamus found nothing of note. I'll try and make that clearer. No lock either.

Seamus opens the door (he has a standard action left) and sees a towering, corpulent beast, a fiend with the hideous head of a boar and arms ending in fatty, four-fingered hands. In fact, a demon.

This wide hall is floored in polished wooden planks, its walls covered in colorful jade tiles. The ceiling is made of lustrous stone that reflects the light of three decorative lanterns that brightly illuminate ten gleaming gold statues of men and women in various poses of combat readiness that stand along the walls.

Knowledge Planes DC 24:
You face a Nalfeshnee. CE Huge outsider (chaotic, demon, evil, extraplanar). One question for each five you beat the DC naturally.

”Now. Let’s not be hasty.” begins the demon, slowly unwinding from a seated position. ”I am old. I have millennia of cunning and artifice. I could, no doubt, crush you with a snap of my fingers. But I will not.”

”I can promise you a great reward if you do but one thing for me. Banish me to the abyss. Perhaps you can dispel the powerful magic that binds me here? Perhaps you can simply send me of your own accord. Whatever is within your power shall be reaped ten fold by my reward.”

”But a banishment wouldn’t be out of place, or a powerful dispel? Plane Shift?”

Between Izomandakus and Kast, you know much about the poor trapped soul. Nalfeshnee (link). Well, where Kast is on the map at the moment he can't see anything, but I'm sure he'll fix that. :)

Hearing the large fellow threaten Val, Seamus draws his weapons while safely standing on his side of the threshold. Curious he asks, "So are you some sort of summoned guard and all you want is to go home?"

Move action: draws weapons, and a readied attack if it comes across the threshold at him. Which, as you can see, I haven't rolled for, cause I don't think he's going to.

As the demon threatens her, Val holds up her free hand and makes a blahblahblah gesture, while she mimes opening and closing her mouth in exaggerated jowling motions in clear mimicry of the pig-headed demon. ”See, I merely make a polite statement of my discomfort with a deal and he threatens my life. Hardly the type I would trust to keep his word.” She taps the flat of her rapier against her shoulder. ”Why would I leave my comrades alone with such a ruffian? I simply see no other path forward. Now, of course you could apologize. But something tells me you are a bit too pig-headed to do so.” She makes a passable attempt at a pig’s snort.

He continues levelly as if his attacks on Valena hadn’t even happened. ”My master is Izomandakus."

"I was to be bound until I could make him laugh, cry, shriek, and cheer using nothing more than the power of storytelling and his own whims. I succeeded in all but shriek before his untimely death. But the magics I mentioned could also free me.”

”How would I know what happens here? I am kept in this room as a guard. Wizards have come and gone over the millennia, but what of their purpose? I assure you they shared none of it with me.”

”And now I’m tired. And want to go home.”

That said, something seems to be nagging at him. Some mote of truth, barely seen out of the corner of the eye. He turns his head to look, but it's gone. The giant beast shakes his head trying to clear his thoughts...

The words of the demon touch a fiber on him and the typical stoic demeanor of Izomandakus is lost as his eyes go wide and round and his face red while he loses his temper "I am no girl! I am not Arika! I am Izomandakus! Master of the Vault of Greed and I will turn you into a piglet if you do not stop attacking my friend now!" he shrieks at the demon.

The demon disappears, surprised, in a puff of foul odor.

Izomandakus, for that is his name, has taken his round. The rest of you may now take yours.

As your perception may change your action, see below. Oh, and we're still in rounds, so no taking-10 unless you have an ability which lets you do so in battle.

There's a door to the south of Kast. Someone/thing is opening it.

Val gets a laugh when the demon tries to swing and hit her not once, not twice, but thrice. She was about to say something when Izo takes over the conversation and she just observes with rapt interest. When Izo finally scares off the demon, she pauses a moment and begins looking around, finally clapping.

”I am not entirely certain what just happened but I understood the part where the demon called you something you are not and you scared it into a poof of smoke, which sounds like a win to me. Well done, my boy.”

She tries to tell if the demon did some kind of magic or the like. Spellcraft: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

Seeing the demon thing attack Valena, Seamus prepares to cross the threshold to her defense, then he hears the confidence and firmness in Izomandakus' voice. He watches to see what the demon thing will do, raising an eyebrow when it disappears. In that brief pregnant pause immediately after the creature disappears, he hears some creaking coming from behind Kast. Stepping back that way, he looks from Kast to the door. Pointing his rapier at the door, he whispers, Someone or something opened that door."

Izomandakus shrieks at a demon - dispelling it! Seamus hears something and turns to face it. Valena comes to grips with the new reality but sees no magic take place. More like a lack of magic. The demon snapped back like a rubber band when whatever was holding him here was severed. A worried Kast readies to smack the hell out of any who close with him. Rastaf does something heroic.

The southern door fully opens and you see a tall human wearing a snazzy breastplate with the holy symbol of Aroden filigreed into the chest in gold. Beyond him you can see another fountain without its golem. The man has flaming red hair, piercing blue eyes, and a ragged scar across his nose (image). He’s also got a fairly fancy bow pointed in your direction with an arrow nocked. ”Who are you?” he asks as he casts a quick spell.

Spellcraft DC 16:
He cast Detect Evil. And yes, he did it with both hands full just because. :)

He seems surprised at the outcome of his spell - his eyes particularly lingering on Kast. The surprise broadens on his face. His knees shake a little, and he is clearly unbalanced, though he’s standing on solid ground. Perhaps that’s the problem.

…Meanwhile, Ordikon pokes his head around the bend in the eastern tunnel and throws a thin green beam at Izomandakus! He’s flying 10’ in the air along the ceiling.

Val doesn’t have line of sight on the redhead, so this is just for Mr Mithral

Seeing the red haired man step into the room wearing a breastplate with Aroden's holy symbol, Seamus furrows his brow. Answering the man, "I'm Seamus, he's Kast, Nice bow, you been in here long?"

Hearing the sound of rocks falling Seamus steps back and looks down the hallway. Seeing the mad mage floating near the ceiling, Sheathig his rapier and long knife, Seamus looking back towards he red haired fellow, nodding his head to the side towards the combat. "Pardon me, the guy with metal skin is back an he's shooting at my friend, gotta go."

He then turns and draws his short bow, intent on shooting at the mithril-skinned mad mage.

When the demon disappears, Izomandakus looks back and forth in quick succession and grinds with his teeth "So it is no dream, I have been here before" he looks back at Kast trying to answer the man's question.

The confusion leaves Izomandakus unprepared for the sudden appearance of new enemies and the disintegrated piece of rock over his head. He looks up trying to asses if the damage menaces with a collapse, then looks forward to the wizard "You Ordikol decided to stole my magic?" the boy reacts finally and rushes through the corridor to strike at the mithral wizard with the reach of his glaive.

Kast isn't sure, but it really looks like the man's skin is pliable mithral. He doesn't move as supplely as he might perhaps, but he's still pretty loose for a man with metal skin.

An interesting question. If the target takes no damage from the hit, will it still pierce a mirror image? I think yes, if the image is hit.

Izomandakus hits Ordikon and learns a few things by doing so. First, Ordikon has DR (10 adamantine). Second, he doesn’t take the fire damage (resistance higher than 6). Still, the mage is surprised by the blow and succumbs to the pigs wailing becoming shaken. Seamus shuffles forward a bit as he switches out his gear. Valena shifts weapons and shoots the mage, a brilliant hit - but one that merely takes out an image. Kast switches flanks and tries to figure out what’s going on, but he’s never seen anything like it before. Rastaf peels away another image with his fiery bolt.

The redhead moves up, bow at the ready, through the room to see what lies in the battle beyond. He doesn’t get too close to Seamus though, not wanting to start anything.

Ordikon, still flying along the ceiling, 5’ flaps (no need to roll to hover he’s got a proper fly skill ‘cause he’s a proper villain) back a bit and around the corner before blasting Izomandakus a second time with that green ray from his fingertips!

Xin-Shalast - Roll20 Map - Tracking Sheet

Izomandakus avoids the worst of the disintegration as he steps up and hits not once, not twice, but all three times stripping three images. Seamus hurls himself forward and slides an arrow in perfectly - and takes out the last image! Valena climbs the walls and crits the mithral mage deeply along the shoulder blade and into the neck. Not far enough for a kill, but a deep cut none the less even with DR! Kast doesn’t confirm his critical but the blade cuts deeply none the less as the party starts to find a rhythm. Rastaf manages to hit twice (this guy is mostly natural armor as you might imagine) but the flames fizzle against the mithral skin (no damage).

Fortification: 1d100 ⇒ 54 vs DC 25 to avoid crit damage

Sadly Valena's blade gets stuck on the mithral and it doesn't go as deep as she hoped...

Izomandakus hits twice and finally the mage starts to show some heavy breathing (below half). Seamus sends a volley of arrows at Ordikon, but they are all deflected one way or another (note: DR means even if you manage a hit, you’ll do no damage). Valena takes the brunt of the acid and the burning pain of it, however fleeting, throws off her aim. She doesn’t even scratch the skin of the metal man. Kast carves into the mage once - but a heavy blow. Rastaf is very nearly pulled away, but his own heroic nature keeps him firmly planted in this reality. His ray of light hurts the mithral man, to his annoyance.

The redhead shrugs, seeing Rastaf is busy flickering in and out of the local existence. He stays along the wall and moves up toward the party to see what they’re fighting. Still, he doesn’t want to intrude so he hangs back a bit. His bow is still out and readied, and his head is on a swivel looking for trouble and eyeing the lifelike statues as there’s nothing else to examine.

Ordikon, still flying along the ceiling, 5’ flaps back a bit before summoning up more power! Raising his staff above his head (as in the picture, link) he brings it down and points at Izomandakus again. Fort DC 24 to resist.

Val finally recognizes a spell that the wizard is casting, but she is only pleased with herself for a moment. Izo turning to stone was bad enough, but then Mr. Mithral has the gall to say they should just surrender?

She holds her free hand up and lowers her chin as if about to surrender, a defiant stare still focused on the mithral mage. She then suddenly sharpens her blade and steps forward into a lunge, stabbing right for his head, her sword seeming to move at odd angles as her stare muddies the wizard’s mind. Swift action to give her weapon keen for 1 minute

Sorry about the delay, brain was elsewhere last night

Chuckling at Rastaf's comment about 'being busy' Seamus get's ready to draw another arrow, as the other pummel the blue mithril guy, Watching is disbelief as Ordikin points his staff at Izomandakus and turns his friend to stone. Dropping his bow, Seamus whispers under his breath, "He's not a wizard, he's my friend.' Activating the flying ability of the armor, Seamus flies under the mithril blue man, past him and then back angling up to Ordikin's height, drawing his rapier and long knife as he goes.

Free: drops bow/ Standard: Fly/ Move action: flew at ground level (so 10 ft below not giving up the aoo) past then back so not using greater than 45 degree angle, drawing weapons as he moves
