Olaf sheathes his sword in favor of a tightly strung composite bow instead.
After taking a deep breath, he lines up a shot on the impish creature battling Amiri.

Amiri regains consciousness thanks to Amazing Red's healing.
Thank you, Amazing Red. I feel much better. Let's destroy that beast.
She shakes her head to make the stars in her vision go away then grabs her sword and stands up. Grinding her teeth in anger, she stares at the dragon-like beast and tries to remember if she learned anything about this type of creature in the past.
Nature (trained): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

Amiri rolls to her feet, grabbing her oversized sword. She also has little idea of the type of creature this could be. Ahrkinos flies a short distance before landing back onto the dock. His throat bulges as more caustic mucus spits at Ezren and Olaf.

Since the Amazing Red is being stingy with the healing, I'll allow him to act first and suck up the AoO.

Hehe, I forget it all the time too Ezren. If you want I can put a little reminder on the tracker. Sometimes that helps.
Ezren sends another ray of frost into the drake's chest as the acidic muck burns through his robes. Huiginn takes to the air and begins clawing at Ahrkino's eyes. The drake roars, snapping at the bird but misses as Olaf punctures two arrows into it's scaly neck.
Amazing Red and Amiri close in on the drake.
Reaction Tail Lash vs Amazing Red AC 25: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (7) + 17 = 24
Red leaps over the tail stabbing his blade into the end of the tail as Amiri chops its head from the body. The drake falls, another monstrous creature kill added to Amiri's body count.
Dealing with the drake you are able to recover any unexploded fireworks and return them to Amenopheus, who gives you each a pouch of coins for their trouble. Amenopheus seems quite relived. "Thanks for your great and speedy work in recovering the supplies." He reaches into the bag, giving each of you a dwarven daisy as part of your reward.
This was the end of the quest. I hope you all enjoyed and will have chronicles out to you this evening.

Amiri_Roll4initiative |

Amiri grabs the decapitated head and holds it up like a trophy.
Victory! Good fighting, my friends. She says to her companions. She tosses the head into the water and drags the drake's body to the edge of the pier, kicking it over the side.
May your future battles be victorious, lads! I hope to adventure with any of you in the future. Let's go get a well-deserved ale or three!
Thanks, Tyranius! I had another awesome & fun time.

Ezren Lv5 |

"Good work, everyone. First round is on me!"
My first finished PbP session. Thanks for running, Tyranius! I had a lot of fun. :)

At the tavern, after a couple rounds of ale, Amiri comes up with an idea.
Let's go have some fun and light these dwarven daisies off outside of Drendle Drang's bedroom window.

With the battle over, Olaf finds some fresh water to flush the remaining acid from his armor.
"We had might as well enjoy the rest of Evoking Day", the rogue replies as he considers the firework awarded to him by Amenopheus. "It would be a shame to come all this way and not take some time to enjoy the local customs."
