The Brine sharke in the middle of the room takes a small it from Bwes as her whip lands, but her spell fails. Valericus then lays into the water being with the added might of the magic in his weapon slashing too and froe. The Kobald's spells then hit home finally causing the water to lose coherence and it collapeses into a simple pool on the floor.

The other shark though manages to avoid the brunt of the electrical spells.

The remaining shark keeps trying to attack Elo, but only it's final blow lands.

With attacks from Every quarter, the creature stuggles to avoid the elctrical and frost spells. The result is that everything hits it all at once. Electricty surges through the water, and the freezing ray brings it to a halt. Teh water freezing for a few moments before melting and flowing through the cracks in the floor.

With that the room goes quiet and still again.

The single door to the east looks much more plain and utilitarian than the double doors to the north. Upon opening and peeking in, it is indeed some sort of store room. The chamber is piled high with boxes, barrels, and crates. While most are partially empty, they do contain a wide variety of alchemical tools, reagents, and supplies that could be used to create a vast array of alchemical items.

Tucked to one side is a stack of three crates. Each of which contains nine small bottles. Each bottle is a Lesser Healing Potion Someone had been stocking up.

I.e., I assume it's some GP amount of "alchemical agents" that can be used for crafting?

It looks like we each get at least two lesser healing potions. Fight to the death for the last :P Also, lesser is a nice step up from minor.

After collecting the useful goods from the storeroom and distributing potions to the party, Elo heads back to the double doors and throws them open.

The doors open into a long chamber packed full of alchemical gear and experiments. Cauldrons stand next to tables where even now volatile mixtures are brewing and bubbling. A large furnace is opposite the door, just behind a long pool of water with a statue of a woman standing at its head. To the east, a passageway reveals a set of descending spiral stairs.

Four creatures tend to experiemnets, appearing like large, wingless homonculi, they are clearly some form of alchemical construct.

As the door opens they move as one to look at you, and place the items they are dealing with down.

Now would be a good time to roll init...

Elo's lightning bolts flicker between the two closest things.. obviously causing them problems and slowing them down.

Val's sword sweeps down on the automaton in front of him, hitting something critical in it's archane systems and ripping it apart.

The other one continues to attack bwessara, but manbages to miss compleatly.

Bwessara's Whip cracks, and a tounge of flame engulphs the creature. It doesn't stop it, but it sure isn't looking too good now.

Qrik steps forward and releases more lightning. The other creatures, still busy with their work fail to dodge it and take a massive blow.

Elo moves and throws a bomb. It goes slightly awry, but still spalashes both automatons. Unfortunately even that splash damage, doesn't seem to have the effect Elo would expect...

Val attempts valiantly to take out the almost destroyed model next to him, but fails to land a decisive blow.

The damaged automaton continues to attack Bwessar, whilst one of the others, awakened by Elo's bomb, moves for Val. They both fail to hit anything though. The final automaton moves to attack Elo, and unfortunatly lands two solid blows. (Doing 13HP of damage)
