Filtune Says a quick prayer to Chaldira as she focuses on Ornaculus and he is surrounded by warm energy. She then strikes the creature with her sword. Cursing at it.

Keeping his shield between him and unnatural creature before him, he swung his hammer low towards the creaturs legs this time, feeling a sickening crunch as the hammer connected with a leg. Then he brought the weapon back around for a backhand striked against the arm and side of the monsterosity. His previous bad luck temporarily abated the hammer struck hard

No more confirming. Either a nat 20 or 10 points over the DC. If the creature has an AC of 17 and you got a 27, then you crit.

Filtune's sword thrust kills the creature, which falls the floor, unmoving. It had 1 HP left.

Combat over.

Having disposed of the creature, you are able to search the rest of the ship in peace. One of the smashed crates looks to have been fairly large. This must be the crate that held the creature before it went on its rage-fueled rampage.

The very few crates that aren't smashed hold various pieces of furniture.

Redd's Deception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Filtune's Thievery: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Ornaculus' Thievery: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

Examining this furniture, Filtune and Ornaculus both find several hidden compartments, about the size of a book: drawers with false bottoms, hidden pockets within seat cushions, and the like. This must be how the smugglers are conducting their illicit business.

In the crew cabin, in stark contrast to the rest of the ship, the floor has been somewhat cleared of algae and cleaned. Six simple beds, complete with fresh linens, are crammed into the space. A few small footlockers are shoved under some of the beds. A quick search reveals a pair of magical talismans rolled up in a smelly, salt-crusted rag. These are crying angel pendants. (Representing treasure bundles)

In the aft room, you see this cabin’s floor too has been cleared of the algae present everywhere else on the ship, and a simple table has been set up in the center of the room, with a few chairs pulled up around it. Papers are strewn over the table.

It is immediately obvious to everyone that two of the items on the table are of great interest. The first is a bundle of writs of inspection approving the cargo crates for export from the Nexian capital of Quantium. The other is a series of financial records, including notes of sizeable sums paid to the same individual whose name appears on the writs: a clear indication of bribery.

You have found the information Gorm Greathammer wished to know, and are now free to return to the Grand Lodge in triumph.

Back at the lodge, after debriefing with Gorm, Redd addresses her companions.
We did it! A successful series of missions. We are officially members of The Pathfinder Society now. I want to thank you all for being a wonderful group to adventure with. Redd gets teary-eyed as she hugs each one of you. I'm not very good with goodbyes. *sniffle*
I do hope to adventure with all of you again. This is just the beginning. There are many more great adventures down the road for us.

Redd wipes the tears from her face and cheers up.
Well, then. I think we should head to the tavern to celebrate our success!

At the tavern that bustles with adventurers from every corner of Golarion, Redd orders a big hardy meal, several flagons of mead, and celebrates their success together. At one point Redd takes the stage, tells the pair of elf bards to keep playing, and performs an interpretive dance of her adventures with Ornaculus, the wise wizard; Dorian, the stoic dwarf warrior; and Filtune, the trickster cleric. Emphasizing the shadowy wisps in the museum, the haunts at the manor, the battle with the fleshforged creature, and dealing with the angry mob and the pathfinder petrified from the Running of the Gorgons.

Dorian returns with the others thinking to himself that he hopes the Lodge lets him continue to travel with these companions as he accepts Gorms debriefing then travels to the tavern with Redd to hear her storiesand watch her dance. Not bad for a Halfling he thinks...now iof she were dwarven there would have beena more athletic performace.

He spends some downtime working at the lodge with the healers treating wounds.

Filtune returns to the lodge with the other Pathfinders and is proud and excited to finish her first mission.

She heads to the tavern and enjoys the celebration. She has a lively time telling silly jokes and playing pranks on the pathfinders and various patrons. She tells Ornaculus and Dorian goodbye with a warm hug.

Before she leaves the tavern she will cheer on Redd's performance and at the end she says she has a tip for her. She smiles and pulls out a Shortsword with three notches (very similar to her own) and gives it to the halfling. She also pulls a button out of her coat and places it in Redds hand. Shall the Luck of Chaldria follow you my friend she whispers, before gathering her things and exiting.

The next days she spends at the Temple of Desna, taking care of any scribbling needs that come up.

I am so grateful for this, Filtune. I am going to learn the ways of Chaldira. Later down that long road, after many successful adventures, I hope to be a teacher of the lessons of Chaldira and enlighten others of her ways like you did for me. Thank you, Filtune. I don't think I'm any good at playing pranks on people, but, "practice makes perfect", they say. Redd lets out a hearty laugh.

Janira Gavix races down the hall, her blond hair flying in her excitement. “I just heard you made it back—congratulations! It sounds like everything went, well, about as well as anyone could expect. Come with me, I have something for each of you.”

The halfling woman leads the way into a small office and distributes finely crafted wooden boxes. Within each, a gleaming compass lid emblazoned with the Glyph of the Open Road and an engraved name lies upon a cushion of silk. “I’m not sure if you’ve picked up your own wayfinders yet, but when you do, you should have ones that prove that you belong. Now it’s official,” she beams. “Welcome to the Pathfinder Society!”

The gifts from Janira are lids for the wayfinders that you may purchase in future, either by spending gold or by spending Reputation to get one as a Faction boon (in which case it takes up an Item boon slot).

With their first missions behind you, life returns to normal for a little while. But it will never be the same again; your experiences now cast the crowded streets of Absalom in a new light. As Ornaculus pores over dusty scrolls in the library, Dorian bandages wounds, Redd dances for tips, and Filtune copies documents for temple priests, each of you reflect on the new friendships you have forged and looks forward to a bright future of doing good for the world, uncovering buried secrets, and going on dangerous, story-filled adventures.
