”Ooh ooh, Ki always wanted to breach somewhere!” the excitable Skittermander replies over comms. ”Ok! On three! One...Two... Three!” assuming no-one dissents to course of action, Ki jumps at the chance to quickly throw open the door to further inside the building, cannon ready to fire upon any poor villain or psychic horror that tries to tear them apart!

"Ki, I think Ray was asking..." about the door /he/ is at. "Never mind," he finishes with a shake of his head and a smile at their circumstances. "Here we go...!"
Jaqweh stands ready as Ki throws open the southern door into what he hopes is the same room Ray and Saryn are breaching into. Though given the way this is going, he's not toooo hopeful it'll actually turn out that way.

Ray giggles as he rolls his eyes back to Saryn and then, with shrug and not breaking contact, extends his leg in a kick at the door.
He flips both his new shiny knife and the unlit dagger in his hands as he turns to face the interior of the new room.

Leaving the other shirren priest corpses where they lie in the creepy isolation chambers, you turn your attention to the central room. With a crash, Ki busts into the room, and Rayraj is not long after.
You emerge into a grand hall that stretches almost fifty feet from east to west and while is slightly more than half as wide. Regular stone pillars support the ceiling overhead. Engravings of astrological markings including stars, moons and constellation patterns cover the sides of each pillar in dizzying displays. A golden door exits to the west, while silver doors provide additional exits in the other three cardinal directions.

Ray lowers his guard to survey the area.
Perceptions: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
He the begins to tap his chin when he comes across the columns, "Hmm, this one looks like the Pact Worlds system and, I assume this is...the Veskarium. Never been there...what could this mean?....Where they watching the systems from this temple?"

Almost falling into the room due to their momentum, they sweep their almost comically large Machine gun around in their lower two arms, stopping from pulling the trigger on Ray - the room's other occupant. Eyeing the patterns on the pillars, the Skittermander shrugs.
"Me don't know, maybe they are just pretty? They look pretty." they reply, moving further into the room to get a better look at the door on the inside and to allow their colleagues in behind them. "Hmm, only one door and no sign of Master 'Nura."

Ganon shrugged and kept his head on a swivel, practicing good trigger discipline for the time. "Probably supposed to be something deep like how things are the same or different from multiple points of view."

Jaqweh enters the room cautiously and echoes Ki's comment.
"As you say, there's no sign of Captain Jadnura here. And you'd think if he was nearby he'd have heard us coming through those doors."
The Steward Officer looks to the silver door at the east end of the room. "Want to breach another one?" he asks his helpful friend.

Ray twirls his daggers again, "Well, as our glorious overseer hasn't produced anything else for us in this room..." he glances over to Ki with a smile, "Mind doing us the honor of this one, nufriend?"

Ki leads the way eastward, opening another silver door, this one to the hindmost chamber of the temple. Roughly forty feet long and fifteen feet wide, this chamber would appear austere if not for the collapsed hunks of rock along its southern side. A vast crystal dome opens from the ceiling some thirty feet above. Starlight rebounds to form intricate, immense images of dragons, bull-headed monsters, stars, and indistinct humanoid figures. Three closed wooden doors are set along the eastern walls here, with another wooden door slightly ajar to the north. A silver doorway leads out to the west.

"Again, no Captain. Steward standard clearing order is spinwise, unless there's a clear reason to do otherwise. Wanna kick in another door, Ki?" he asks gesturing to the northern door.
"I must say, your door-breaching skills have been most helpful," he adds with a smile.
I would think that "closckwise" would have fallen out of usage and been replaced by something more related to orbital mechanics.

Ray strides in, wholly inspired by the starlight. He reaches a hand up hoping to glean something from it.

Thoroughly enjoying being helpful - and having great fun kicking in doors with (elf-appointed) authority - Ki bounds over to the indicated Spinwise door at the northern edge of the chamber. Bouncing on the balls of their heels they wait for their colleagues to be ready.
"Ready? 1...2... Me AM THE LAW!" they shout over-excitedly into the comms as they kick at the next door, thoroughly hoping it isn't locked or opens inwards...

I think I've created a monster. Sorry, guys, Jaqweh projects mentally to everyone - except Ki'ren'nura. He adds a small mental chuckle at the end, too, as he follows the team into the room.

Ki throws open the door to the north and you take in a spacious room. While the room has some rubble strewn about, it also features a wooden bed frame, a chair and a footlocker, as well as a large bathing basin sized for a medium creature to the northern end of the room. The accommodations are spartan, extremely so by modern standards, but clearly this was sufficient for Jadnura.
Jadnura, one-time First Seeker of the Starfinder Society, lies comatose on the bed. His arms are trembling, his breathing is shallow and he's garbed in nothing more than a humble monastic robe similar to those you say the monks at Pradulex Monastery wearing. Its only the glimmer of light across his skin that reveals he's shielded from the vacuum by his powers as a solarian.
However, before you have a chance to rush to Jadnura's aid, you hear a crackling rustling coming from the south. You turn and see a bizarre translucent orange creature rising from the floor. It turns its horned head to regard your group with beady black eyes as its long tentacles begin to ripple.

The psychic noise tears through Jaqweh's senses but it's more like being at a lashunta thrash-metal concert than an actual attack. Even so, Jaqweh steps back to give the others more space to maneuver. He points out the fact that the creature's elevation gives everyone a clearer shot.

"Oh no Nura Master!" Ki is about to rush to the aid of their hero and one time mentor before being racked by the horrifying screech of the creature. Spinning on their heels, they ready their cannon and level it, firing off a quick burst of rounds at the creature.

Having been engulfed by a huge rolling fireball already today, the dwarf was largely unimpressed by whatever this new thing was. His floating camera started playing space country music loudly to try to intimidate it as he opened fire, singing along. "Only in Akiton / Where we dream as big as we want to.."

He then raises his Mirage Dagger, pointing it at the being. He lights the blade, feigning that the flame might reach it hoping to throw the being off it's game taking a step back in the process.

Furthermore, the unique origin of a Void Hantu grants it immunities to cold and radiation.
Weapons fire from your team converges on the Void Hantu, but shots skim past tentacles and other extremities and don't come close to harming the beast. The country music certain gains its ire, distracting it from fighting effectively, and Rayraj's feint leaves some tentacles swinging in the wrong direction.
Ignoring Rayraj for now, it floats through the air towards Ki. Once its close to above the skittermander (Still at 20ft elevation), it generates another gravitic distortion...
Ki Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
...and this time its victim is flung into the air along with all the loose rubble nearby. Ki tumbles up towards the monster's tentacles, then peaks right as they arrive within the Void Hantu's reach. A tentacle sweeps clean through the skittermander's body, sending a shock of cold into them! (Dealing 25 cold damage)
Ki Will: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
The attack is accompanied by a psychic noise that slams into the skittermander's mind and leaves Ki with a splitting headache. (Ki takes 1 Wis damage) They tumble back toward the ground...
Fall damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5 (Fully resisted by DR, so you don't end up prone)
... and land on their feet!

Jaqweh turns his cold-energy weapon over in his hand and then comments to the Dwarf. "At least your weapon works this time."
Realizing that shooting it will be ineffective, he continues to point out tactical options, and then attempts to get in it's head (not literally, of course.)
"We're here to rescue Captain Jadnura. You can't stop us, so just go find someone else to prey upon."

Unfortunately the hail of fire from Ki and Ganon scatters around the Void Hantu, deflected by the gravitic energies that surround it.
It floats over until its close to Saryn (same elevation) and attempts to suck the lashunta up into the air with another distortion.

Maybe there is a way I can use this, Jaqweh thinks as he looks wistfully at his shiny borrowed cold-energy pistol. He fires a shot near enough to the Void beast to distract it, hoping to help out a teammate's attack.

Struggling to connect with their Reaction cannon, Ki instead hoists their artillery laser and aims it at the creature - hoping the energy beam would have an easier time connecting to whatever substance it was made from.
Turning to Jaqweh they hold out their Static Arc Pistol. "Me has pistol! Is stunning though!" Not sure if it is immune to non-lethal but it is an option

Ki's laser fire proves a direct hit that passes through the Void Hantu, injuring it and scorching the wall behind it. Meanwhile Ganon's shot and threats fall short of even distracting the beast.

Feeling trapped as the void appendage reaches in and chills their soul, Ki's eyes widen. Diving forward they roll under the appendages and then keep going, putting some distance between them.
