D'vost is enchanted by the move of the creature and the trembling of the ground when it moves. You can notice his antennas moving as the beast roars and runs.
Soon shirren shakes his head, and notice his surrounding. D'vost moves forward, towards the beast and pulls out a mostly round object. It seems to be a shell of some small animal that is tied with string and duck taped on the sides. As shirren run, he pushes his finger inside of that contraption which as a result starts glowing and making sounds. Soon after he throws it close to the back legs of the animal.
After landing the shell goes silent for a bit and suddenly explodes spreading a black gooey substance.
Throwing self-made stickybomb grenade: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
As a Bombard soldier I created this grenade using Grenade Expert. Regular grenades have 20 feat range due to the same ability my range is 25 feats (20+ 5 feats for every str bonus[and I have +1]). DC for throwing a grenade is 5.
The beast need to do reflex save against the DC equal to 14 [10 + 0.5 * lvl of the grenade (1) + my dex modifier (+4)]. If fails the beast is entangled for Entanglement time: 2d4 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5 rounds.

TETRAD CERTIFIED TRANSLATOR
TECHNOLOGICAL ITEM PRICE 500 BULK L
This elaborate datapad has several additional audio receptors
to capture nearby sounds. If you don’t share a language with
creatures you encounter, you can activate this device to
collect basic linguistic information. The device requires 10
minutes of observed conversation to gain enough information
to operate. The device then acts as a rudimentary translator.
It does not allow you to converse with creatures with
whom you don’t share a language, but it can relate very
basic information. Examples of statements the device could
interpret would be: “come with us,” “lower your weapons,” or
“leave immediately.” The device cannot parse proper names,
including personal designations or the names of items and
places. Some extraordinary complex or obscure languages
might not translate clearly with this device.
A Tetrad certified translator has 10 capacity and 1/hour usage.
The natives look like hunters if you go by the weapons they are carrying, the only things that could be used for transporting meat are some bags they are carrying. You assume they didn't expect to find a lot of meat.

I was waiting for our PC's with high charisma to do the talking but I can wait forever here :). Shirren soldier is great at establishing contacts. Prepare yourself, I will RP the crap out of this encounter.
Shirren looks with confusion at his teammates seeing that everyone is pretending to be busy looking at their boots. D'vost decides to give it a try, after all, Shirrens are into other cultures and diplomacy. Knowing fairly well that his soldier experience might not be of use here but his tracking skills might profession tracker. After all these are most likely hunters which he did fare share in his life.
He kneels while slowly pulling out his knife and draws on the ground an Absalom station (which given my skills looks more like a turnip with spikes). D'vost draws Starfinder Society emblem (is there one? I hope there is, if not I will use exoguardians emblem) and speaks: "Starfinder Society" while pointing at all of the agents.
Then he draws a spaceship with an arrow from the station to a circle. After drawing the circle he points at the ground beneath his feet speaking: "Planet".
He continuous drawing a spaceship on the ground and next to it drawing 6 figures: 3 small ones with snouts, 1 human, 1 human with antennas and the last one that looks like an insect. The last alien has the most details and at it's back there is an anarchy sign. On which D'vost points at his back and at the other agents.
Shirren moves to the side as he filled the whole space around him and marks a trail that they took toward something that looked to them like a city. He draws a city hoping to include at least one thing that might look familiar to the reality. Somewhere at the middle of a dotted line between the ship and the town he marks an X and points at the monstrosity that lies nearby.
After that, he looks at the alien standing nearby. The soldier then points at himself and speak: "D'vost" after that he points at her.
After being done with the drawing I leave the knife in the ground to not point it around.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
No matter what is the reaction he points at Pan and says: "Pan". And then sends him a telepathic message: "Yeah you can try to give them a flashlight. Let us see their reaction."

And yes, there's a society symbol
The female once again points at herself and repeats: "Dystane" which by now you summarize must be her name
The female gives a couple of friendly nods and gestures for you to follow her - which in the opposite direction of where you were going towards the city.

D'vost looks at his teammates and follows her, picking up and hiding his knife along the way.
As we walk Shirren might want to look at the trails on the ground of wild animals trying to bring the attention of Dystane to them if he will encounter one. Basically, he wants to find a common thing with them to make the meeting easier.

Other then what he assumes are the traces of the hunting party you just encountered D'Vost doesn't spot any tracks that stand out to him
As you follow the hunters for about 10 minutes D'Vost notices more tracks and 10 minutes after that even more tracks until after half an hour or tracking through the sand you arrive at your destination.
Dozens of beetle-like aliens crawl in and out of the many caves that dot the face of this otherwise drab cliff. Most of them are dressed in simple leather frocks, while the few with crude weapons are covered with sturdier armor. A small garden filled with sickly plants is visible off to one side, next to what looks like the opening to a well. A handful of children sits in front of a pair of older aliens, who are both wearing brightly colored necklaces. They appear to be either telling the young ones a story or teaching them a lesson.
A cheer goes up from the caverns as they notice the party's approach which quickly dies down again as they start to notice you among the returning hunting party..
Dystane quickly strides up to two of the biggest beetles and begins an animated conversation involving various clacking mandibles and gesturing in your direction which ends in them gesturing for you to approach.
