"Curses!" Lym growls, and she pushes past the others. "Lucian! Get back!"
The Wizard throws a hand forward, and a tiny spark of light flies towards the rats -- then expands into a roaring sphere of devouring flames!
Lym moves to L5 and casts Fireball at the borderline of E5/F5, so as to get the rats without setting Lucian of fire as well. Reflex DC17 for half of 5d6 + 2 ⇒ (4, 4, 6, 6, 3) + 2 = 25 fire damage.
The revenant ignores everything else going on and continues to pound the door.

Lym's fireball explodes and incinerates the swarms, leaving behind the burnt remains of many of the rodents and causing the remaining rats to disperse.

"There is... resistance," Lym says, frowning behind her veil. Arcs of bright energy flare around her hands as she extends them towards the door. "Need to... push."

Rhianni sees the magic encompass the door and watches.....
The door opens.
This room looks to have once been some sort of arcane workshop, although little remains but broken glassware, shattered jars of pottery, that contain dust and mold, and several rusty instruments and tools. A row of soggy books sits on the northern end of a workbench along the western wall. At the other end of the workbench, what looks like three iron birdcages sit, each containing a dead diseased rat. To the east, two stained-glass windows loom. The northern window depicts a thin man with gaunt features drinking a foul-looking brew of green fluid, while the southern one shows the same man but in an advanced state of decay, as if he had been dead for several weeks. His arms raised and head thrown back in triumph, his rotting body turns to smoke and spirals into a seven-sided box.

Rhianni momentarily stops and takes a pace towards the book shelves, staring at the books. She shakes her head, blinking her eyes, "Umm, the books ... they might be very interesting ... I might just ..." she stops.

Rhianni shakes her head as her mond clears and she comes to her senses. She seems quite shocked and surprised at Lym holding her wrist, "Please!" she says annoyed as she shakes her wrist free from Lym's restraining hand. "Let us continue" she says sternly, as she follows Tomaru, but she can't help but turn back and give a quizzical look at Lym.

"You seemed... absent," Lym says, shrugging as she follows the others. "I thought to prevent... accidents."
Piles of broken stone, dirt, and a few ruined pickaxes line the edges of this room. The floor in the middle of the room has been torn up to reveal an ancient set of stone spiral stairs, obviously of much older construction than the surrounding basement, winding deep into the bedrock below. A foul stink, like that of rotten meat, wafts up on a cold breeze from the darkness.

Lym suddenly jerks and thrashes in the air, as if she were being shaken by a mob. Deep, red claw and bite wounds appear on her flesh.

Rhianni looks shocked at Lym's thrashing, she runs to Lym's aid, calling on the her clan's protection, a golden glow moves from her to Lym, such that she seems encompassed by the golden aura of protection. She looks around into the air trying to feel the evil that has attacked her. "It's alright Lym, quiet now, we are here to help you fight this evil."
Rhianni casts Protection from Evil on Lym.
Nothing else happens in this room, but the revenant has gotten a lead on you and disappeared down the staircase leading below.
The stairs end in a limestone cavern. The walls drip with moisture, and swaths of black and dark blue mold grow in spiraling, tangled patterns on the floor, and a rhythmic sound - as of the breathing of some immense creature - echoes through the cave through three tunnels, one to the north and two to the west. Of the two western tunnels, the southernmost one seems to be a relatively new creation.
It's dark down here, but it sounds as if the undead woman has gone down one of the western tunnels.

The Wizard still seems shocked by what happened to her in the previous room, but she is moving and casting, her aspect grimly determined. "Lead the way."

Lucian examines the floor under Lym's light, then points down the middle path. "It went that way."
