In. Regarding the treasure, did no-one pick up the +1 keen longsword or the +1 flaming greataxe? Or the other unclaimed magic weapons for that matter? I know I didn't, since I'll be getting my melee MWKed and magiced, but I wanted to make sure.

For the masterwork transformation, it will be on my Elven Curve Blade (that will be where the magic goes when we hit Lepidstadt too).
Question: Does Ravengro sell masterwork backpacks (-50 gp)? If so, I will purchase one to improve my carrying capacity a touch.
I'd also like to buy the +1 silver morning star (-2,278 gp). It's not ideal (not being a light weapon) but it fills a couple of damage holes Fir has (silver, bludgeoning/piercing).
I'll also sell my old backpack (1 gp), my old thieves' tools (15 gp), and old leather armor (7.5 gp).
If I can't get a mwk backpack, I'll also divest myself of a few other things to bring the weight down.

Masterwork enchantment going to my original Breastplate, which is going to Lysa if she still wants it. My favor in Lepidstat is being used to find a Mithral Breastplate which I will purchase for 4,350. Then I am having my bow enchanted to +1 for 2,000 gold. Finally purchasing the potions and Scrolls from the master list I have my name marked next to.
Checking in. I had also asked about the mithril chain shirt.
Although the markets are limited, pretty much all the mundane "equipment" is available in either Ravengro or Lepidstadt. So MW backpacks are readily available.
Assume that there are enough items in the marketplace for anybody who wants one. So if Firavel buys a mithral chain shirt, other characters can buy one too.
And as long as your encumbrance is close, I'm fine with it. Don't sweat if you're a couple pounds over. That said, I better not find anybody carrying six warhorses or anything like that. :)
I'll make the other changes to the file after work tonight.
Hmmm. And perhaps I'll add a masterwork composite shortbow or longbow with a +2 STR pull to the list of shopping items. If I still have to use a bow in the future, an extra bonus to hit and damage couldn't hurt.
Oh pewp. I didn't see the list of postions in the treasure. Is it too late to claim some? I already have two CLWs and a Lesser Restore on my list, probably from this treasure, and would like to top it up a bit. I added my name there with ** in front. The 2 CLW claimed and 1 of the LRs are the ones that were already on my list. Added 2 CMW and 1 more LR.
From the looks of things, there are still 2 CLW, 3 CMW, 3 LR, and a Remove Disease as potions. I'm assuming that someone is holding onto them?
Also thinking on picking up an extra antitoxin or antiplague or two, since my fort save isn't the greatest.

I'm not worried about the potions, I'm letting you all track your own consumables.
You can go ahead and update your purchases from the marketplace, but wait a bit on the +1 upgrades. As I'm learning in one of my other games, things may not go exactly like I'm planning. :)
EDIT: Oh, and feel free to sell anything you have for 1/2 value and just add the gp to your total.
A question from the other thread that got passed over in the flood-
My idea was that "he's always had it, but it just hasn't ever come up in game", so it could be easily retconed.
The idea is that the pommel/grip of his sword is a family heirloom, each generation replacing the blade and adding a new chapter to the story of the sword. Normal Wayfinders are made to hold Ioun Stones, allowing each bearer of the blade to customize it a bit for themselves, but it's actual purpose is to hold a Shard of the Shield if one is ever found. (potential plot point/quest reward for later in the game)
I could have it worked into the pommel in-game, but I think the family heirloom thing is more interesting. What do you think?
Anyone who can afford it should pick up a pair of Spring Loaded Wrist Sheathes and keep potions in them. They allow you to treat yourself as having Quick Draw for their contents, which saves you the nonsense of having to waste actions drawing a potion.
OK. Purchasing the mithral shirt and a mwk bow, selling off other junk. Waiting on the +1 upgrade.
Can you put potions into wrist sheathes? The description seems to limit them to weapons, wands, or ammunition (although it says "such as" so it might not be so limiting). I can't find anything definitive, so maybe it's a DM call. I like the idea though, and will definitly invest if allowed.

Ah, wrist sheath, my old friend. If I didn't abuse them myself, I'd toss them in the nearest bin. But, as somebody who enjoys a bit of spring-loaded excitement on occasion, I'm fine if people want to load them with potions. :)

question. The books don't specifically include blunt or other types of crossbow bolts. Is it possible to buy crossbow versions of the different types of arrows for comparable or even slightly more?

Good morning everyone. My family and I are going on vacation Monday, March 4 through Saturday, March 9. During that time, I do not expect to have a reliable internet connection.
We will be traveling for most of Monday, so I will definitely not post that day. Starting Tuesday, I will try to update threads at least once a day, but it may not be possible depending on the internet situation.
Just wanted to warn everyone ahead of time if I end up going silent for the entire week.

Just wanted to post about some happenings in my life.
We have had some major turnover at work in the past few weeks, and as a result, my responsibilities have significantly changed. Unfortunately, making posts in my DM games is going to be very difficult for a while during work hours, so my posting will generally occur in the evenings.
I may make some posts from time to time during the day, but I anticipate those to be the exception rather than the rule. I should have time to answer specific questions here and there, it's just the official story updates that I won't be able to post.
Anyway, I'll do my best to maintain daily updates, but I may miss a day here or there. I just wanted everyone to know ahead of time in case it happens.

Compared to some GM's I've gamed with you are much quicker at response and keeping the flow of game. RL happens to all of us, so just keep it coming when you can and we'll keep on gaming.

If Redjaw is grappling someone, and then got Bull Rushed, would he take the person he's grappling with him, or be forced to drop them?

Did anyone make that Knowledge (arcana) check to see what traits a flesh golem has?
As Morast is #1, I'd say go back to Lepidstadt and gather info about Zbraslav Hora and Sons and trace the tools to the shop and/or the possible owners of the tools. Redjaw and the testimony of the bitten fellow with our theory could be dropped off at the lawyers.
The Karb Isle stuff can wait (IIRC it's #3). I don't know what to make of the head, but we could ask around about Vorkstag & Grine when we get around to investigating things further.

Good question, but no, he does not have a limp.
Just so you know, if you speak with him more, he'll reveal that the entire village - and specifically Lazne himself - will be forever in your debt if you find the monsters who defiled the bodies in the Boneyard. I understand the reticence dealing with him, but in reality, even though he doesn't really like you, he's just an old man trying to do the best he can keeping his village safe and prosperous.
Hope that provides some insight for future decisions.

Unfortunately, Lysa won't be continuing as a PC in the game. In the short term, I'm not going to have her completely disappear, but she will continue as a NPC moving forward.
I assume the group would like a replacement divine caster/cleric? If so, I'd prefer to ask somebody individually rather than go through open recruitment. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
Ugh. I would rather not have to re-recruit. I don't mind ret-conning Mithias into a chirurgeon to give some more healing and grabbing a wand or CLWs.
Baring that, I have no problem retiring Mithias to play something that can heal more traditionally. A bard or witch preferably, but if the group wants a cleric, I have a couple of those sitting on the shelf ready to go.
I'm not sure we've ever seen Mithias do his Beastmorph thing anyway. Reworking him wouldn't be a stretch at all.
Sad thing about Lysa though.

I would put my vote for having Mithias be a more healing focused Alchemist. If you really don't like the character anymore though, then that's fine, but I like it more when stories stick with the same cast as much as possible.
Note: I'll be up at the cottage from tonight (after 4 or so pm EST) to Sunday afternoon. There's no internet up there so I'll likely be incommunicado for that period. If I'm lucky, I'll have some cell reception, so I might try to at least keep up with things (posting ain't easy on the phone, so no guarantees of that) in the interim.
