Reginald T'jener
attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Kill these, then fall back! Reginald orders as he slings another stone.
Through the Message spell, Reginald asks, Pravic, how is it there?
Pravic Stoneblood
Pravic feels as much as hears the message from Reginald.
"They have not made it past the beach, half their force is gone. We are holding!"
No sense in telling him about Bali, she'll be fine, no need to make the old dwarf worry.
Focusing back on the fight in front of him, he shouts to his cousin, "We're behind ye, Hold yer ground!"
Pravic makes to charge the elves threatening his kin.
Pravic Stoneblood
Unfortunately, Bali, the three drow charged you, ignoring your AoO.
Pretty sure that doesn't matter in Pathfinder. any movement leaving a threatened square provokes unless it is a 5 foot step or the first step in a withdraw action. Since Bali has a reach weapon, when the drow closed in to his melee range, he would have left her threatened area, which was 10' away due to her reach weapon. (technically all 3 would have provoked, but she can only take 1 attack) He still gets to make his normal attack after Bali's AOO is resolved, provided he is alive. I tried to find anything in reference specifically to charging through a threatened square, but couldn't. One alternative would be the drow using Acrobatics to avoid provoking an AoO. In this case the DC of the check would be Bali's CMD+10 because he moved at full speed.
Reginald T'jener
The rules text can be interpreted both ways with good support either way, IMHO
Lothar Graelson
Lothar charged in to support Bali, his spear having claimed the lives of two Drow and showing no sign of stopping. Despite the raised shield of the Drow before him, Lothar was simply too swift with his lunge to be stopped, the weapon gutting another of the Elves.
Attack (Charge): 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 4 + 1 + 2 = 18

On the beach, Ivy finds an opportunity to slip under the defenses of her adversary, but she loses her balance when she steps on a slick stone under the water. Cleverly, she uses her momentum to slide into a position where she can threaten one of the drow facing Ingrid.
Bali, Grimdahl, Nurin, Pravic, and Ingrid can all act now!
Grimdahl Tharnhammer
Opting to stay with Reginald rather than leave with the gnomes, Grimdahl now uses his last bit of magic. Placing one of the three enchanted pebbles into his sling, he whirls it around in an arc, sending them flying at the drow. The magic accelerates the pebble with lethal force, making it unexpectedly dangerous.
Aiming at Drow 13
Sling, Magic Stone #1: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 2 + 1 = 15
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
This isn't a ranged touch attack, BTW - it's a normal roll against AC
He then glances at Reginald, and prepares to move out with the venerable dwarf, to follow the gnomes.
Ingrid the Tarnished
Ingrid stands stalwart in the surf, ignoring her own wound as she grips the haft of her axe. Waiting for the right moment, she brings it rushing in at the drow's side.
Attack on #8: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Damage: 1d10 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 3 + (6) = 14
Pravic Stoneblood
Since Bali isn't actually unconscious, I can't occupy her square, which would have been a cool visual of standing over her body to protect her... This guy is going down quick anyways. Then we can all rush to the beach...
Pravic lets out a dwarven growl as he sees his cousin crumple to the ground, down, but not out. He rushes past the gnomish lord, blindly ignoring the opening in his defense left by his movement, and places the drow directly between himself and Lothar. Once in position, he swings his hammer in a forceful arc over the top of his shield, aiming to end this threat as quickly as possible.
Attack, Flank, AE: 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 4 + 2 + 1 = 26 for Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
that movement provokes an Aoo. Pretty sure that will clean up the mess on the docks... :)
Nurin Jarnthane
Nurin steps forward beside Ingrid to stand shoulder to shoulder with her on the beach. He takes advantage of the positioning to swing at the drow caught between him and Ivy. The Axe of Grunwald flares as the magic is being used against an ancient enemy.
Attack the flanked Drow.
Attack (AE, flank): 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 4 + 1 + 2 = 22
Damage (Arcane): 1d10 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 3 + 1 = 14
Pravic Stoneblood
Pravic chuckles as Bali curses her luck in not being able to cut more drow down herself.
"cheer up lass, there's plenty more killing to be done afore the day is over!" he reaches his hand down to give her an assist to stand back up.
"To bad Torag hasn't blessed me with the power to heal just yet... Until then we will have to rely on potions. Maybe these villains have something on them..."

On the pier, Pravic sidesteps the clumsy swing of the remaining drow warrior, crushing him with his warhammer.
The last drow, seeing that all of his compatriots are dead, throws down his scimitar and surrenders
Lord Geirni shouts with joy, despite the blackened bolt sticking out from between his plates. "We were incredible!"
Reginald T'jener
Now would be the time, Lad. Reginald says before starting to fall back to the next position.
Pravic, we're falling back. Can you give me an update on your side?
Nurin Jarnthane
Nurin rushes over and shoves the surrendering drow into the mud and water. "Give me a good reason not to kill you right here!" He glances up at Pravic and the others as he waves his axe at the dark elf.
Pravic Stoneblood
"The drow here are routed Reginald, none survived. All dwarves and gnomes accounted for." Pravic says out loud, pointedly to Nurin as well as through the message spell to the elder dwarf.
"We don't have time for prisoners, we must get back to bolster the line at the bridge. The drow will be pouring into that part of the city any time now. Lord Geirni - Leave a contingent of your men on the shores here to make sure that snake doesn't try that trick again."
Pravic takes a deep breath to make sure everyone for a hundred yards around him can hear. "One more push and we wipe the filthy drow from your city for good! We. Are. Winning!"
Once Nurin has completed the necessary task, he moves with the contingent back to the bridge that Reginald and his brother hold.
Grimdahl Tharnhammer
Grimdahl nods silently, falling back with Reginald to their next fortified position.
Nurin Jarnthane
Nurin looks conflicted with the order, but he nods and hacks down this hated enemy. It was a poor thing to do, but this fight was started by drow treachery. If they wanted mercy, they just had to retreat.
Glad I ain't a paladin...
Lothar Graelson
Lothar immediately hefted his now blood-drenched spear, the unarmored warrior left without a scratch although looking rather grim with the blood of Drow upon him.
Reginald will surely be hard-pressed by the main assault. Can we spare the forces here, expecting lightning to strike the same spot twice? I will defer, Pravic, but perhaps we need every man at the front line with us now? I believe it would be wise to leave a single runner, a non-combatant; to warn of any such trick, should they try it again.
Pravic Stoneblood
"Aye Lothar - I agree. I didn't see it that way before, but that is an excellent point. Lord Geirni - As Lothar suggested - Leave a runner here to watch for treachery if the Drow decide to try that little trick again. Lets get up there as fast as our stubby little legs can carry us!" Pravic hustles back across the unguarded homes, making a straight line to the bridge to reconnect with the main force.
Pravic Stoneblood
"Get him there now then! Use your fastest mount. I cannot get you there any faster, GO!" Pravic barks the order that will brook no questions.
"Reginald - It appears Lord Geirni was poisoned with Gnomesbane. He didn't collapse until we made to reinforce your positions, his militia is rushing him to the infirmary now. The rest of us are on our way to you. Better to tell the other gnomes now than have them question his newfound leadership when he doesn't show up with us. Make sure they know he lead the charge here, and whatever happens, we will not let this city fall!"
Pravic utilizes the message spell that has been so invaluable in transferring information between the two fronts.
I hope they get him there fast enough...
Reginald T'jener
Reginald frowns when he receives the reply. Pravic, we are falling back to the second line. Meet us there.
At the second line of defense he announces, Lord Gerini has been poisoned! More crow treachery! If defending your homes wasn't enough, now fight for your Lord. Send these Drow to the Abyss!
Nurin Jarnthane
Nurin wipes the blood from the drow off the Axe of Grunwald and hustles after Pravic, pausing only to see the deep gnomes carrying their Lord off to the infirmary.

GM Olmek
The second line is located in the midst of Stonecutter's Row. With two weeks to prepare, the svirfneblin have turned the district into a winding maze of blocked alleys and twisting roads. Along the way, bonfires have been lit to try and dazzle the drow as they push further into the city.
It is at such a location that the Tharnhammer Expedition regroups. Gnomish militia are firing and falling back, but their numbers dwindle under the superior volume of fire from the drow, especially considering that the drow are coating their bolts with a toxin deadly to the svirfneblin.
Harvald and a group of militia trot over to the dwarves. "We must hold them here. Any further and they'll push into the main city."
New map is up. Please place yourselves on it.
Also, Bali and Ingrid need healing.
Grimdahl Tharnhammer
Grimdahl positions himself by the gap, ready to fire the last of his magic at the drow. "Bali, Ingrid - I have no healing today, best you stay back. Pravic? Nurin? Lothar? Let's end this."
Pravic Stoneblood
---As the Tharnhammers regroup---
Pravic reaches in his back and pulls his only potion of cure light wounds out, handing it to Bali.
"Ye'll be needing this if ye want to cut down a few more drow. Sorry I don't have more Ingrid - May Torag keep the blades away from us and lead ours to strike true." He says with a smile.
Just looked through my gear and realized I had that listed - sorry for not noticing earlier. Can Ingrid cast healing spells yet? Not very familiar with warpriest at low levels...
Nurin Jarnthane
"We should draw them into towards the bonfire." Nurin looks towards Pravic and the narrow streets. "Or bottle them up in the alleyway and cut them down there!"
Nurin will wait a round or two as the drow draw closer before he casts Shield

Just as the dwarves and their gnomish allies get into position, drow come pouring around the corner, rank upon rank of matte leather armor and bare steel. One of the militia members points to the rooftops and cries out, "Look!"
Perched like an immense gargoyle on top of one of the buildings is Damiel Malathorn. His giant cave lizard eyes the gathered defenders hungrily while the drow commander unsheathes his greatsword.
"Kill them. Kill them all in the name of the Baroness! But save the druid for me!"
All the dwarves are up!
Bali Tharnhammer
Never one to back down, Bali charges straight for the first Drow she sees. Aaargh! Die!
Charging, Power Attack vs Drow 6: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

Geez, hope those static bonuses help out.
AC is 13 due to charging.
Pravic Stoneblood
Pravic digests the words of the leader, pointed at his brother. There was no time to react to that just yet though as the elves begin to pour around the corner.
"Hold the line! Shoot that devil on the rooftops! Hold nothing back, if we break them here we win the day!"
Pravic then charges forward, using a few steps to put some momentum behind his swing as he crashes into the front lines.
Taking an AoO from drow #6 to get into flanking with Grimdahl
Attack, flank: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 2 = 10 for Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Oof...
Grimdahl, for all the time he spent away from the caves, was still a Tharnhammer dwarf. He could handle himself. It was the drow who should be worried...
Reginald T'jener
Reginald thinks that big sword is far too much weapon for a Drow. As his companions rush forward into battle, Reginald reaches into his component pouch and draws out a small piece of butter. Words of power flow from him with practised precision and the butter disappears. Suddenly, Damiel's huge weapon is suddenly slicked with grease!
DC 16 flat-footed reflex save or drop the weapon
Grimdahl Tharnhammer
Sorry guys, am posting from my phone so no access to the map; will get something up once I'm back at the computer.
Knivey Ivy
Thinking quickly of any advantages they may gain Ivy leapt up on a small box and shouted at the surrounding gnomes.
"Tontut on Fasturvalt! Tavoitteena kaikkien esi taikuuttakusipää rakennuksen. Tämä lisko syntynyt sokeana paskiainen!"
She pointed at the drow leader on the lizard, before lining up a shot and firing from her crossbow.

Lothar Graelson
Lothar eyed up the full-plate armored Drow approaching and decided that he should be his main target. He hurled his spear up at the Drow leader, the throw on-target and displaying unusual accuracy for a Dwarf with only modest agility.
Thrown Spear VS Damiel (FF AC): 1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 + 1 = 20

Grimdahl Tharnhammer
Grimdahl hefts his scimitar; it sits well in his hand. An ancient weapon, forged in Dammerhall itself, it was a gift from the late Magnar Tharnhammer; proof (if any were needed) that the ancient dwarf did not regard the druid as an outcast.
Grimdahl strikes at the nearest drow, the blade moving almost faster than the eye can follow, leaving the dark elf dead in its wake.

Ingrid rushes towards the fight, calling upon the power of Torag to protect her. Mail crunches as Ivy's bolt and Lothar's spear find their mark, sliding between the plates of Damiel's armor. The drow commander rips the spear free. The gnomish militia opens fire with their crossbows, bolts stabbing into the drow commander's mount. Shrieking, it crashes to the ground, with Damiel managing to leap away at the last moment. He hits the ground with a crunch and swings
his greased greatsword at the nearest dwarf: Nurin. The blade screams, grinding across the magus's magical protections, leaving the dwarf unharmed.
The rest of the drow push forward, trying to break through the dwarven bottleneck, although none of their attacks land. Grimdahl cuts down another with his scimitar.
Dwarves are back up!
