Erin Alegra

My square is getting rather crowded.
Attack 1 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 (Fatigue, Curse, Bless)
Damage 1 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Attack 2 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21 (Fatigue, Curse, Bless)
Damage 2 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Attack 2 Crit Confirm 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Erin continues to swing erratically between sobs, obviously horribly distracted, but still trying to help her allies.
Arkwright
|
Swept off his feet by the tentacles, Arkwright curses loud, long and with an impressive array of syllables and vocabulary as he tries to cast his lightning through his hand into the tentacles.
Attempting to cast while grappled and then deliver it through a touch attack.
Concentration:1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18
Touch attack: I really don't know what modifiers I add to a touch attack, so here's a d20:1d20 ⇒ 20. My BAB is 5 and my dex mod is 5, apply whichever is correct.
Damage if hits:7d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 3, 6, 3, 2, 2) = 21

Charlotte as she moves closer to the rest of the party, gets caught up by a black tentacle. In her frustration she watches as party members get hit and take significant damage. She remembers from an advanced battle technique class that members of Sarenrae receive that her powers to channel can be used to heal and harm even in very "tight situations". As she thinks, while tied up, she is grateful that she wasn't late to that class.
Move Action: Tries to break...
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 CMB Check-If breaks, she moves to right in front of Minsako. If doesn't break, then she stays where she is.
Standard Action: Channel Positive Energy to harm Minsako-Channeling out Anya, Ashur, and Arkwright
3d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 4) = 13 -- Will Save DC 16 for half.

Minasako falls to the ground a mass of organs and goo, her immortal life finally ended. The tentacles fade.
Arkwright
|
As the tentacle drops him to the floor, Arkwright ignores the pulpy mush of the creature and heads to Erin. Taking her by the shoulders, he shakes her vigorously. "Erin!" he barks sharply at her, slapping her gently across the cheek for good measure. "Are you back with us? The creature's dead, Erin, Charlotte finished it off.

Charlotte sighs as Minsako falls to the ground and becomes lifeless. Behind her is some books,a journal and a pink gem. Looking to make sure everyone is not severely wounded, Charlotte immediately goes over, puts all the books, journal and the shiny pink gem in her bag, with the promise of taking the time to figure it all out later after she asses the party. As soon as she finishes that she comes over to Erin. She takes a look at Erin and sees the signs of a curse, but it is not life-threatening. She sees Ashur looking mighty fatigued as well. Seeing the seriousness of the party's exhaustion, it looks like a retreat is in order.
Ashur, come close, I can reduce your suffering a little bit. Erin on the other hand, I need more time to prepare for. We should head back to town and it will give me time to rest and prepare the correct rituals to help Erin.
I begin to cast Lesser Restoration on Ashur.1d4 ⇒ 1 -- 1 Level restored, and the fatigued status is removed.I do not have Remove Curse prepared, but I can cast that tomorrow on both Ashur and Erin or if we can find scrolls, I can get them taken care of in town!
Ashur Glaber
|
Do we know what kind of curse it is on Erin? If its Bestow Curse, thats touch range.
Ashur attempts to hide any concern for Erin or anyone else as he looks around the room for anything else of importance.

Seeing the external threat ended, Erin slumps down against the bed with her head held in her hands pleading.
"I can still hear him, the voice, it is not going away. Please help me."
When Arkwright hits her, he can see the anger well up in her expression, quickly followed by her eyes glazing over again. She then looks over Arkwright's shoulder directly at Ashur and murmurs quietly.
"But... he does not look like a Hellknight."
Arkwright
|
More concerned and approaching distraught at Erin's state, Arkwright turns to Tanrov and ignores the fallen head.
"Tanrov, you're the strongest here, and you have Glory- can you take her? We need to get to town, I don't know if this is hurting her but I fear we need to deal with this fast, there's no telling what that fleshy b&%#* did to her..."
Remembering, he swivels to face Charlotte "You- you said you could prepare something for her. Does that mean you know what this is? Is it dangerous? Can someone in town help her?"
| GM Brute Squad |
You walk outside without incident. The mist still hangs in the garden. You can’t shake the feeling that something is still watching you.
When you reach the tree where Glory was tied up, you find the horse gone. The lead ropes have been torn apart. Under the tree are a couple of dead birds, looking as if they had just fallen out of the tree.
| GM Brute Squad |
No, it’s not, I brought you down the road a bit. Glory was no where near the mansion.
Tanrov bounds into the field, leaving the poor soul to languish in the gutter, but a little walk into the forest, and he has completely lost the trail. Fortunately, Ashur is right behind him to point him in the right direction.
Ten minutes or so into the forest you find a clearing. Glory is circling in a nervous canter. He jumps back from the sound of someone approaching, obviously extremely spooked.
| GM Brute Squad |
Tanrov revives the unconscious man. He seems a little out of it with some bruises forming, but not anything life threatening.
However, as soon as he sees Glory he cries out, jumps behind his cart for protection, and yells a stream of what sounds like Tian profanities and something about a ‘devil beast’.

She looks at Arkwright when he asks his question.
I can remove whatever curse there is upon her. The problem is that it will take me a day to prepare that spell. Now if we get into town, and there is someone who has a scroll of the spell, I already have the materials needed to restore her. But for now, we must make haste and return to town for assistance.
As the party leaves the mansion, the silence is almost horrifying, as we come to where Glory once was stationed, she grows sadden to see that Glory is gone and most likely by non-natural means. She mutters a small prayer to Sarenrae to bring peace to Glory wherever she is.
I guess we will have to carry on by foot. You going to be okay walking Erin?
As she says that she sees Tanrov and Ashur return with Glory, looking a little spooked but for the most part in good health. As she looks a little further, she sees a man lying on the road. And as he awakens by Ashur's touch, watches as he freaks out. Charlotte immediately comes forward in an attempt to calm the man.
Diplomacy check:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
| GM Brute Squad |
From what you can make out from the man’s signs and the few Tian words you have picked up while you have been here, it seems that Glory, in his highly agitated state, came galloping down the road and knocked this poor farmer and his cart off the road. There is a hoof-shaped welt developing on his leg.
