Male Human Fighter

Sry mind going back before you venture into the office? I hasta reread my post 30+ times before i can submit it, in order to keep my spelling and grammar mistakes to my usual below 20 per post.

Shadow Lodge

HAHA! It is dusk

Male Half-Feraweni Rogue HP: 69/69 AC: 27

Anga sighs heavily at the tirade. His slate gray eyes meet the humans unwavering. There's no anger behind the gaze, just disinterest."Put your sword away child. For the last time, no one here is going to fight you. I have no desire to cater to the mewling of a witless fool, I have far more pressing matters to attend to." A hint of his characteristic gleam comes back to his eye. "Though I DO find it amusing that one who values himself so highly for his silver tongue, can nary think of a solution to a perceived slight. A solution other than blades that is." And with that the gleam is gone, and the thief resumes ignoring the fighter.

Turning back to Oleg and his more important business Facion says.
"Good." He makes his way to the office and retrieves the sheaths. Strapping them on he examines their workings, he winds both of them and secures his two standard daggers inside. Returning to the yard he looks up a the sky to determine how much daylight is left.

Hard to fit that all together without making it sound retarded.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Eddric is going to kill everyone in their sleep if we keep treating him like this. And we don't have colorspray anymore! :-/

Shadow Lodge

Rule 1 Decision: No PVP. Ever. Period. Problem solved. Threats and conversation are ok.

Male Half-Feraweni Rogue HP: 69/69 AC: 27

Huzzah! Finally we can put this ridiculousness behind us!

Male Human Fighter

"You miss understand the usefulness of a tongue. Speech is a tool, not a resolution. Don't mistake me for a kind man just because I can negotiate." Eddric pauses then thinks about the conversation, trying to find a different light.

"This whole attitude that you and the Wizard have needs to stop. The next incident you make time for your hit and run insult tactic, you better be making time to fight over it.

OoC I think we need to change our attitudes towards each other. If we don't have the option for pvp, we should limit our other PC interactions as well.

Male Half-Feraweni Rogue HP: 69/69 AC: 27

"Words are wind." He glances back up at the sky. "I'm heading out tomorrow morning. Going after the Stag Lord and those Mite things. If you want to come with, be ready at dawn." With these final words, Anga heads to the bunk house and retires for the evening.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

"We need to be better armed before taking on the Stag Lord. That faction obviously is one of power, and we're down one. We'll need better gear before taking on the "Lord" of the land. A man will be hunting a that boar first in hopes of a better weapon in which to take down the Stag Lord with and the mites." Wraith said.

Shadow Lodge

Boar, Mites, or Bandits?

Male Half-Feraweni Rogue HP: 69/69 AC: 27

I vote mites, but we can do boar first. It doesn't really matter to me.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Mites. Screw the boar. I'll just steal another bow from someone.

Shadow Lodge

Taking horses?

Male Half-Feraweni Rogue HP: 69/69 AC: 27

Are they war-trained yet? If not, I vote no.

Shadow Lodge

By now they're trained to face battle, but not participate. In other words, the horses won't get attacks, but they can carry you in combat. Another week and they can kick and bite too.

FYI Wraith, Longbows take a -2 to hit from horseback.

Male Human Fighter

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

Shadow Lodge

Same thing is true for a 2 handed sword...

Also, you must make the appropriate Ride check each time you do something on the horse. HERE is where you find that.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

As I still have no ride for the checks, I vote no. I'm not gonna be able to hit anything anyways with -2

Male Human Fighter

Quote- Even at your mount's full speed, you don't take any penalty on melee attacks while mounted. pulled from d20pfsrd.com

Is this -2 modifier in the actual rules or is this a DM imposed rule?

Male Human Fighter

If you are pushing that its fine, I would argue as I didn't know about it before hand or I would have purchased a lance and shield many previously for when i dinged.

Male Half-Feraweni Rogue HP: 69/69 AC: 27

Well I'm okay with that. What do you guys think?

Shadow Lodge

Eddric. I went back and checked and it seems I may have that rule still banging around my head from 3.5. There is no penalty for using a two-handed weapon while mounted.

I now have 2 for and one against horses at this time. I have decided that we will use horses on an individual basis. You tell me if you're riding or not, then I post the next bit.

Male Half-Feraweni Rogue HP: 69/69 AC: 27

Okay sweet! For this bit Anga will be riding.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

I suppose I can get off the horse to shoot when need be. I'll go with horse.

Male Human Fighter

Thank you Ryan for double checking, my original goal was to be a two mounted warrior. But, if your against it I would gladly use a lance.

Eddric is a cavalier, of course he wants his mount.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Two mounted warrior? Are you riding a mount that is riding a mount? Here comes Sir Eddric! Charging the enemy from a horse riding a rhino!

Male Human Fighter

BTW, w/e is cool. I prefer to be above ground however. Eddric will be ordering a lance, and shield before we leave.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

"Off we go then.

Male Half-Feraweni Rogue HP: 69/69 AC: 27

"Yep, walking. Out the doors. Into the wild." Anga glances over his shoulder. To see if there are any plot points hiding around.

Shadow Lodge

I assume you are taking the shortest way possible to the mites. Here we go!

On horseback, the going is much faster than before. You make very good time, and travel many miles before you are forced to rest.

Early the next morning, you start to see wisps of cobweb and the occasional cocooned corpse. There appears to be something of a pattern too them: almost like a trail to follow.

What do you do?

Male Human Fighter

follow the trail!

Male Half-Feraweni Rogue HP: 69/69 AC: 27

"I don't know much about mites... Do any of you?" Anga asks while casting a wary glance at the cobwebs.

Perception 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
Knowledge (Arcana) 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Knowledge (Dungeoneering) 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Knowledge (Local) 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

Shadow Lodge

Anga:

You see old spider webs.

Shadow Lodge

The trail isn't easy to follow due to the thick, low shrubs, but it is easy enough to find. You follow it for some time, all the while the webs and bones grow bigger and more numerous. Finally, the vegetation gives way to a clearing of sorts. The ground here is covered in old webs and bits of creatures. In the center is a large mound of earth and web and bone. A top the mound you can see the glint of gold.

Male Human Fighter

"I am thinking lair!" Eddric states while he searches for any sign of a creature.

1d20 ⇒ 5

Shadow Lodge

Eddric makes a great show of looking for signs of life, but succeeds only in reminding himself that he is no huntsman, but a knight.

Shadow Lodge

Wraith, Anga, anything you want to do? I can use Audrey to go first in these situations, but she can hear or talk, so...

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

"Looks like a trap. Who leaves gold out in the open like that." Wraith looks around and inspects the gold from a distance.

Perception 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

Shadow Lodge

Wraith:

The golden glinting is in fact the hilt of a sword on the body of a dead human.

KN: Local, KN: Nature, Sense Motive all might tell you more.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Sense Motive (I don't have the others) 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29

Shadow Lodge

Wraith:

If this is a trap, it's design shows sentient intelligence yet there are no signs of live people anywhere.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

"Well... if this is a trap, someone put some thought into. But there are no signs of anyone near. Anga, can you inspect it to see if you can see if you can disable it?"

Shadow Lodge

The group is 25 feet from the mound and the golden sword, FYI

Male Half-Feraweni Rogue HP: 69/69 AC: 27

"Hmmm?" The thief looks up as if just noticing the clearing for the first time. "Oh." Dismounting, Anga looks around the area, seeing if anything stands out to him.

Perception 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Creatures, animals, people?

Half crouching Facion makes his way towards the nest, using any cover he can find he takes his time and doesn't rush things.

Move 10 feet closer
Stealth 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16
Trapfinding 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 7 + 1 = 18

Shadow Lodge

You do not see anything different from Wraith. You don't sense any traps. Unfortunately, there is not enough cover for stealth where you are now.

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

"..... Eddric, want a sword?"

Male Human Fighter

"Why not... stand back." Eddric moves to take the sword.

Shadow Lodge

Eddric will need to dismount to get at the sword. Where does he leave his horse?

Male Tiefling Zen Archer Monk

Wraith hops off his horse 100ft back and shoots an arrow into the ground and ties the horse off to it. He then follows Eddric in, keeping 30ft back, longbow drawn. Perception for when Eddric approaches the sword 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29

Male Human Fighter

"Wonderful idea," Eddric states while he attempts to be perceptive.
1d20 ⇒ 10
