They do try and blend in for the most part. Given that a percentage of standard humans are not kind to people who are different.
I also want to make sure that anybody who has player issues with my character speaks up. Taker is stubborn and cantankerous. I want to keep it as a quirky roleplaying thing, but if I go too far let me know and I'll scale it back.

No worries Taker, shouldn't be much of an issue; Jamaardi and her should get along juuust fine (or maybe not as much)

Jonny, just out of curiousity- would our current mounts, plus exotic riding saddle, bit and bridle, and maybe some other mount related stuff {went with riding gecko for the heck of it} be considered "free" {possibly, as in: lent by the Temple/to paid back if mount meets an unfortunate end}, or do you want that accounted for among our 2000 GP?

Fun! Really enjoying playing a Psion again, its my favorite class after Cleric but they get a lot of hate so its pretty rare to play one. Thanks for the opportunity!

I think a stage over were we are located with slats to see the stage and the crowd so we can utilize our powers to best effect is a good idea. I can summon some Constructs and claim that they are winking out due to a psychic storm that only the Priests can help dispel if the entire city meditates as one. Keeping everyone peaceful and in order.
Maybe if someone objects we have one of you to use another power to knock that objector off, maybe even have a few plants in the crowd to make "lessons" of?

Sounds like a good plan to me. We could say something like us being sent here from far-away to verify the Patriarchy's authority. I might be able to hide among the crowd since Jamaardi's power-set seems more suited for direct action rather than a ranged power-type. At the very least, we can keep a lookout for that ambushing cult group; they'd want to "crash the party"- so to speak.

As promised, here's what I found for the local gods...
Abadar is the main God of cities, civilization, capitalism, and banking. Has a vault full of perfect stuff that he keeps (or was it hoards?).
Nethys is the main God of Magic and magical knowledge. Was an Osirion Pharaoh in his mortal life before ascension and may or may not be totally sane. Is the God most likely to cause a magical cataclysm just to see what happens next. His avatar looks like one of those two extinct ST:TOS dual-colored dudes that were bigoted against one another, only with more evidence of injury.
Irori is the God of Self-Perfection, Knowledge, and Monks. Formerly a Vudrani Human in life who was said to had self-ascended to godhood all by himself.
Sarenrae is the Goddess of the Sun, forgiveness, and scimitar-usage. Was an ascended Angel who was said to have beaten down Rovagug into his prison. Looks like a cross between DC's Firehawk and Marvel's Guardian 3000 Nikki, plus a sweet nose-ring.
Pharasma is the Goddess of Death, Birth, Judging the dead, and Prophecy (currently broken thanks to Aroden). Likes to judge and dislikes it when anyone cuts in line to avoid her judgement. Hates the Undead as well. Looks sort of like Lady Death if she went for the more dignified, restrained, and conservative look.
Norgorber is the Evil God of Murder, Secrets, and Poison. Was one of the few former mortal to take the Test of the Starstone in order to gain godhood.
Lamashtu is the Evil Goddess of monsters, hostile animals, and deformed birth. As a former Demon Queen before her ascension by murdering Curchanus, she's popular with Gnolls, Barghests, and other humanoids. Has a Jackal head with 3 eyes and is always "preggers".
Rovagug is the imprisoned God of total destruction and Tarrasques. Is considered an Endbringer along the likes of Tharizdun, Galactus, and Unicron. Killed him plenty of deities when he ran loose. Asmodeus has the keys to his prison. Really dislikes Sarenrae too, for some odd reason.
There were some lesser known Osirion deities, such as Anubis and Thoth. About 20 in all, mostly relegated as a lesser-known Pantheon in Osirion.
