Laro Farfeet
Laro gasps as the spears enters his size and yells out in draconic "You'll pay for that! If you slaves and to live drop your weapons and go to the back of the cave. You've seen what we've done to the others!" He then attacks the one who stabbed him.

Virdel pulls his bow back at the last moment as he sees the slave fleeing. "He does not need to die."
When they enter the filthy warren, he grimaces and says, "Finally, we can solve this kobold problem once and for all!"
He moves forward to find a clear shot and launches an arrow at the chain wielder.

With a pinch of wool, a few words incanted in the First Language, and a slow, placating gesture, Aelerie tries to undermine the will of the chain-wielding redscale. "Odota vuoroasi.” (Casting daze; DC 15)

I'm assuming a 22 and 25 hit. If not..... we have bigger problems.
Albus Wodeward
Albus attacks the warrior that attacks him trying to thin the numbers before the reinforcements arrive. Though, by now, their should be few not aware of our presence."

GM Stargin
Good stuff guys, Laro, I think you rolled three times instead of two? Taking the first two.
Laro does some damage to the redscaled who stabbed him with the swing of his second sword.
Virdel's bolt is well aimed and nicks the chain wielding red scale.
Chain redscale will save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
The drawing of blood seems to send the redscale into a hissing and spitting rage that lets it easily shrug off Aelerie's mind clouding spell.
Javell's dagger flies true and rips through the dark talon's cheek to end its flight with a thunk in the rib of the slinger warrior.
The dark talon, still standing, bays with rage, while the slinger falls back like a plank of wood, stone cold dead.
Albus's axe similarly brutally ends the life of the warrior with a hard swing that goes through the warrior's throat.
The spider attacks the only target left that's close. Which is the spear wielder redscale.
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
But it misses
The two slaves, seeing two warriors fall dead, drop their slings and run away to cower with the first one that fled.
The dark talon stabs at the close one as it flees Coward come back!

Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

The attack hits and the slave stumbles away, bleeding heavily, before collapsing with a shivering wail.
Then, all that remain are the elite warriors and they take their turns.
the Dark talon with spear already out, moves in to attack the spider, seeking to get it out of his way as his furious eyes remain fixed on Javell

The spear causes a large wound as it sinks into the side of the brightly coloured spider.
The chain wielding one continues its assault on the spider.
Red scale talon on spider: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
The damaged spider's chittering starts to increase in pitch as it panics at the amount of damage its taking.
Finally the spear wielding facing off against Laro attacks.
Red scale spear on Laro: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
But this time it misses.

1d4 ⇒ 2
The spider, now fighting for real, lashes out at the dark talon right in front of it.
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
But it misses again.
Okay, the three elites are left and are facing off against Laro and the spider. Laro can hit the spear and the darkscaled one in melee, Albus can hit the darkscaled one. Albus can only five foot step to get to the chain wielder. The chain wielder isn't in melee for ranged purposes, the other two are. Round Three Party up!

Ahh gotcha Laro, unfortunately AC is higher than 18
Virdel's bolt is well aimed but clatters off the chain wielding kobold's armor and goes spinning deeper into the cavern.
Javell's dagger slips out of his hand and falls short of the darkscale.
Laro's second swing is very very close to causing damage to the spear wielding redscale but the kobold barely manages to avoid it.
Albus's mighty swing however splits the darkscale's head in twain and it slumps bonelessly to the ground. Albus does not have to go through the trouble of wrenching his axe free of it.
Aelerie to go
As the battle rages on the weird ululuating shrieks that were heard earlier from the western side of the cavern start up again.
Aelerie Mirisen
Sorry for the delay! We had to evacuate Miami, but I was hoping to be able to keep up with posting on the long drive north. Silly me, our car doesn't have WiFi.
With reinforcements coming in from the west, Aelerie lends her sorcery to the fight in conjunction with her companions' bolts and blades in an attempt to fell the remaining kobolds. Violet runes shimmer in the air around the arcanist's outstretched hand. From the warped space within the glowing circle, three bolts of magic fire out to batter her enemies. It does far less damage than the previous stab but still, yet more blood drips down from Laro.
The chain wielder switches from the spider to the dangerous Albus as its focus.
Red scale talon on Ablus: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

The spider continues to try and bite anything living near it. This time the spear wielder fighting Laro.

Aelerie Mirisen
Yeah, our place is right on the coast. For the next two or three days, at least. But thank you! We're fine! I think little Bela hated the trip more than we did, if that's possible.
Aelerie's countenance darkens when her magic fails to drop the kobolds but her determination to end the fight only grows. Switching to more mundane methods, Aelerie draws back the bowstring on her crossbow and slides in a quarrel. Allowing herself a brief smirk at Albus's rare quip, she levels her crossbow at the chain-wielding kobold and presses the trigger lever.

Albus Wodeward
Is there any cover in this space?
Albus looks for cover from a charge anywhere around that can be reached quickly, while deciding between bow or axe.
"Get to whatever cover you can, it sounds like slurk cavalry is coming up fast."
If Albus can get to cover without blocking allies he goes there and prepares his bow, if not he stands with greataxe in a position with clear zones to dodge to.
GM Stargin
There are three elements of cover that you can get to, one is across from where you are currently at the north end of the room. Two are at the eastern edge of the cavern. Going north will attract the attention of whoever is coming as you're going to go across the center of the cavern. So three people can be in cover if they wish.
Albus Wodeward
Albus moves to the farther eastern edge of the cavern to set-up for an attack with his bow. He's ready with Masterwork arrows to fire on what comes through into the cavern.
Not sure if Albus with have a single action or a full-round which will determine if he rapid fires or not. But he is ready.

Albus waits for a slurk or hostile kobold to come into the cavern, preparing to fire on it.

Virdel whispers, "Wait just one moment, Laro," and taps him again.

Since we have a round with no enemies I will take advantage of it. Will get Javell next round if possible.
Laro Farfeet
Laro moves up against the wall and attempts to hide near the entrance way hoping to attack from behind as the first creature moves past.
Stealth: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18
No need for cure this round as I was already full from your previous cure.
Aelerie Mirisen
Aelerie eyes the injured spider, feeling pity and concern in place of the unease the giant vermin initially inspired. Whether or not such a creature could be considered 'real' seemed a meaningless philosophical point at that moment given that it could clearly feel pain. Rather than callously forcing it to fight on, Aelerie ends its suffering by summoning another in its place.
As the celestial spider departs in a flash of light, a new guardian clambers up from the cavern floor, seemingly carved from the earth itself. (Spending two points from Arcane Reservoir to summon a small earth elemental. Stats are in the alias.)
Knowledge (Planes): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31 If Aelerie knows of earth elementals and their capabilities, she'll communicate to it to use its earth glide to get behind the largest approaching target and attack.
GM Stargin
Alerie you know everything you need to know and the earth elemental understands you perfectly.
Laro attempts to conceal himself, while Albus and Laro take cover at the far end of the cavern. Virdel and Aelerie stay where they are at the entrance holding back the kids and Whisper who are crowded into the tunnel behind them.
The spider vanishes into the ether with a final chitter and an earth elemental takes its place. It nods at its summoner and turns to face where the sounds of draconic shouting and slurk slobber are approaching.
Rounding around the corner and barreling into their section of the cavern are two kobolds, a redscale on a slurk, and, right behind him, a dark talon.
Albus looses an arrow at the slurk and rider that unfortunately misses badly and gives away his position.
Slurk Kobokd per: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Darkscale Per: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
The Darkscale rushes forward intent on closing the distance between himself and the ranged invaders. The redscale on the slurk though shows its experience and wits by noting the not perfectly hidden halfling waiting for them with two swords. It turns the slurk with a snarl and attacks!
The slurk rears up and spits slime at Laro.
Slurk Slime on Touch Laro: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Laro easily dodges the spurt of slime as it flies right past him.
Then the slurk rider hurls a javelin at Laro.
Slurk Kobold javelin on Laro: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Javelin damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Laro Fort: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Laro is nicked by the javelin but it is minor and Laro shrugs off whatever foul poison the kobold coated it with.
While this is happening the earth elemental obeys Aelerie and glides behind the slurk and pops up behind it and forms two hard fists and swings them at the slurk!
Power Attack Earth Mastery: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
The slurk falls to its knees with a croaking roar as the very earth seems to rear up against it, but it manages to struggle back up gawping widlely. It seems very very hurt though.
Laro 1 Dex damage and 3 HP damage
Slurk 16 damage
Round 6 party up. Earth Elemental will go last as it basically delayed its action until the three new enemies apeared. Laro is a move action away from flanking slurk + rider with the elemental. The dark talon has rushed all the way to Albus so it's in melee with Albus. Javell is a five foot step away from engaging in melee and could also move around to flank if he wishes. Aelerie and Virdel are in ranged range of the newcomers though they all count as being in melee at this point.
Javell
Javell calls on the power of Desna, his starknife flaring with silver flames in the dim light as he flanks the kobold and strikes with his blessed weapon.

While Javell's dagger flares with the energy of the Star Goddess, his aim unfortunately goes wide. Even adding flank bonus in it misses.
Laro's quick flash is more than enough to finish off the slurk
Kobold Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
The red scaled kobold, snarling, manages to land on its feet as its mount lets out a final slimy croak.

A quiet, half-apologetic mutter to the kobold as he swings, in Draconic "I wish your people would honor their surrenders but pointless to offer." As Albus' mutter dies, the aze bites deep likely making the kobold die as well, with Albus regrets in company.

Silence reigns as the last of the elite soliders facing off against the group falls over with a very final thud.
When you have a moment to look around yo uwill see that this is a very large cavern. The largest you've been in. There are crude camps and bedrolls scattered across the floor and in the nooks and crannies of the the cavern walls.
You entered into the cavern from the east side, on the west are a bunch of fairly shoddily made wooden pens. From that side of the cavern is one path heading south, and another heading north.
They held us in there Kimi says pointing at the pens as the children filter in. All of them, even Kimi, are pale at the sight of the dead kobold bodies and all their blood in the flickering magical illumination that the party brought with them. Then we ran that way she continues pointing towards the south.
