Elenzar loads his crossbow. "Oh sorry not on horses does not guarantee that they are not riding something else. Are we making our stand here, are we riding in to them. I think we should make some effort to get the young to safety."

Taliesin is at 210 feet, Forfax at 140 feet distance from the two riders.

"Blast! Protect the children, I'll get them back." He says to Nathaniel, David and Elenzar.
He then pulls the reins of his horse and turns, then bolts towards the two Greenbrookers chasing off.

"Back!" he snaps at Taliesin and then pursues Forfax and Scout.
"What do you think you're doing?!" He calls out to him.

Nathan is now at 190 feet distance to the riders.

The two riders seem to converse and a rough laugh is heard over the plains. They both look in unison behind them and then back at the charging riders in front of them.

The area is wide open plains, with some hilly terrain amongst it. The area towards the riders is pretty even, but behind them there's a small hill.

Male Half-Elf Scribe=Warrior 1/Inquisitor 4 HP 30/30 AC 18 Perception +11 Init +6 Fort +6 Reflex +5 Will +7

Are the rest of us able to see the enemy at this point? Is the only hill behind them. As in they are between us and the nearest hill? Are there any hills that look steep for a horse to ride or have very limited ways to get to the top. Like a rocky hill with some shear areas that if we all got on the few fighters left could make a stand and there be only one or two ways for the enemy to climb the hill. Sorry for the questions.

The hills are not that steep, there is a slight elevation in the landscape, it's not difficult terrain for a horse to move on nor so steep to get any movement penalties. The amount of rocks is almost not worth mentioning. Just a round hill from which you can oversee the slightly lower plains. No problem in asking questions Elenzar.

Edit to my previous post
"Don't try to be an heroic fool. Charging in alone will get you killed." Nathan says as Forfax looks back and then turns to Taliesin with a stern look.

The group of wolf riders laugh again loudly, the sound echoing across the plains.

Their wolves howl as they spur them on and they come running at Taliesin, Nathan and Forfax as they stand further away of the group.

Micah and Raff fumble around with their crossbows and start loading them, Ciril raises his longbow and Mariel seems ready to do something as well, but her main concern lies with the protection of the children.

It's more clear now, that the riders are indeed goblins and they wield a large sword, at the moment they swing it above their heads.

Forfax hits Goblin rider nr.2 with his bill, a glancing blow to his side, piercing the leather armour he's wearing. The goblin doesn't seem to be too bothered by it though. Scout aims to bite the wolf, but is too hesitant to come near the snapping jaws of the big wolf.

Micah and Raff aim their crossbows, but hesitate for a clearer shot, as they don't want to hit any of the Greenbrookers.
Ciril is less hesitant as he has practised his archery. "Like this boys!"

Nathaniel notices two things, one: an arrow sticks in the side of the goblin he's joined in fighting. Two: a bolt glances off the back of his armor and falls to the ground to his left.
A terrified cry follows from Micah."So sorry!"
Raff finds an unprotected spot on the second goblin and hits him in his right leg.

Nathan swings his sword at the goblin in front of him, aiming for the unprotected arms and sides. A deep gash across the right arm of the goblin makes him flinch and he looks troubled out of its eyes.
