DM Chaos |

You need to roll a Concentration check for the shaman since she took damage; DC is 10 + damage dealt + spell level.
It was a spell-like ability, not an actual spell. I don't think I need a concentration check for that. If I do, someone correct me and shoot me the cite/link. Thanks.
Sorry, here is the Battlemap

Round 7 - recap
The party continues its unabated assault on the rapidly diminishing tribe of goblins.
Tybek once again scares the dickens out of the goblin. Unfortunately while dodging the dwarf's axe and laughing at him, the goblin steps directly into the path of Arindale's descending morningstar which puts a quick end to the gloating.
At the same time, Maegge swings his tiny wooden club which hits the goblin in the knee making it unable to dodge Glorfin's celestial powered strike with makes the evil little creature crumble to the ground.
Seeing the other's fall, Zert raises his sword overhead and charges at the shaman.

DM Chaos |

Round 8 - recap
Once the last of the guards goes down, the brave heros move toward the diminutive shaman and the numerous evil looking trinkets hanging from her clothes and hair.
As Arindale and Glorfin approach, she simply starts to laugh.
You no win. Z'gmy returns.
Then Arindale swings his morningstar opening a bloody would on her shoulder. This attack seems to almost make her happier as the crazy goblin simply laughs more.
Glorfin also charges in with his hammer raised, unfortunately Arindale's strike move the shaman resulting in the warhammer once again causing more damage to the floor than its intended target. Tybek carefully moves around the slick surface on the floor, but is unable to reach the shaman to introduce her to his axe.
At the same time as Glorfin attempts to put the shaman down with his hammer, Ramin renews her attack from afar with her nasty barbed whip.
Ramin-whip: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 3 + 1 = 15
Damage: 1d4 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 1 = 7
While her strike is true, it defects harmlessly off one of the metal baubles hanging from her hair.
Zert, even more enraged that his previous strike missed, again raises his sword with two hands and swings at the shaman.
Zert-sword-w/2hands: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 6 + 1 = 26

Damage: 1d8 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 1 = 11
Zert's blow lands and opens a huge gash across the shaman's midsection. You do not know how she continues to stand after taking so much damage, but she does as she raises a hideous black unholy symbol before her and then speaks in a horrid evil tongue.
Z'gmy - bring your curse upon these enemies.
As she does so, you see green aura spring forth from the symbol. The glow is the color of stagnant scum covered water and smells like fungus.
Channel Negative Energy: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7 <-- DC13 Will for 1/2 damage. Effects everyone but Braden.
Zert Save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (14) - 1 = 13
After she does this, she sinks to the floor bleeding profusely from her wounds, but still cackling maniacally. Zert also collapses to the floor after being drained by the negative energy.
Party up - at least I assume a few of you are still up.
EDIT - Ramin ninjaed me - however since she very kindly got exactly the same attack roll I do not have to edit anything.

Arindale |

Fortitude Save 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
The aura burns Arindale...in response he brings his Moringstar down on her head with full force.
Take that you old Goblin hag! Finish the others and I will heal the group.
The next round Arindale will stabilize Zert unless someone else needs it worse? After they end the other Goblins he channels.

Maegge Weissam |

Will Save (DC 13): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27 F'r serious...?! A 20 on an easy save? Le sigh.
Feeling burned and singed from the creepy green light from the goblin shaman, Maegge is only slightly hurt before the world spins around him - the damage fading away in a haze of short-lived inebriation.

Tybek Odeon |

Will Save 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Ach! Yae damn creepy shaman gobbie fiend and yer green disgustin magic willnae stop me fer long!"
Does Arindale's channel positive energy counteract the wounds of the Shaman's negative energy.
Round 9
Tybek now steps up and introduces the shaman to his axe.
Battleaxe 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 1 = 22
Damage 1d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 = 5
"Shaman Beastie, Oi wid loik yae tae meet a gud friend o mine, but dannae worry, its bark is worse than its bite!"

DM Chaos |

Everyone except Braden should have taken 7 damage, 4 if they made their save. Then they all were healed by Arindale a round later. Braden you will have been healed as well as long as you moved into the aura of brew.
Arindale caves in the shaman's skull and Tybek follows this up by surgically removing her head from her green neck.
Once you finish dismembering the shaman, you search the cave and find the following.
On the Shaman:
An unholy symbol to some unknown deity. - Give me Knowledge(religion) rolls to identify.

Ranim Nejem |

Ranim resists some of the negative influence from the shaman, yet still feels it's pain wash over her. Fortunately Arindale counters the pain with bliss, healing the wounds.
Will Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
As the others set to work finishing the goblins, Ranim aids in the corpse hunting, calling forth a song of revelations to seek out magical auras.
Cast Detect Magic, though I can't identify anything.
Knowledge (Religion): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Tybek Odeon |

"Aye mae friends. This is a gud start tae oor adventure! At least Oi mae be able tae purchase a pint of King's Mead with mae share! Let's gather the loot and divide it up!"
Tybek will pick up the stones and gems and begin looking over them for quality, properties and attempts to appraise them.
Appraise 2 bluish stones 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Appraise 3 red gems 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Appraise 1 white gem 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Tybek will then proceed to count out the coins and begin stacking them into piles.
Tybek counts out 50 sails, and 79 wolves.
"Aye, this is a pretty sight!"
He then divides the coins up into seven equal piles.
"Ane fer yae, twa fer mae. Hehe! Oi'm a kidder! Ane fer me, "
When he finishes counting he distributes shares of coins to everyone.
"Here yae gae my friends! And these twa wee coins will mak a noice start tae the company drinking fund!"
7 gold sails, 11 silver wolves each. 1 gold and 1 silver go into the party fund. Please add this wealth to your character sheets and I will keep the party fund on my character sheet.
0 Falcons (p.p.)
65 Sails ( g.p.) +7 = 72 g.p.
1 Wolves (s.p.) + 11 = 12 s.p.
7 Caps (c.p.)

DM Chaos |

The scarab is not magic.
Braden figures that the wand is a wand of CLW (15 charges, CL1).
The light blue potions are CLW (CL1)
The red potion is Restore, Lesser.
No troll ambushes until at least second level.
The blue stones are just pretty stones, but probably worth 5gp each to the right person.
Red gems are Cuprite and estimated at 10 gp each.
The white stone looks to be quartz which Tybek figures is worth perhaps 10 gp.
Most of the goblin equipment is in fair condition, but not great.

Maegge Weissam |

No troll ambushes until at least second level.
Oops, thought that was dragon ambushes. Can't complain!
Outside the cave, Maegge will begin setting up a camp for them to rest and clean themselves up after yet another bloody battle.

Braden Montajay |

Braden explains, "Arindale's new wand is a basic cure wand almost one third full of charges. These light blue potions can do the same.
"
Addressing Zert directly:
"Zert, you are a fierce fighter. This wand can heal and can be used by our drinking holy man. You probably want at least one of these wonderful light blue potions that does the same."
Old school D&D--keep the hirelings and henchmen happy.

Tybek Odeon |

"Well, let's take this loot and load it up on Arin's mule. Oi mebbae able tae negotiate a gud price fer this gobbie equipment.
Tybek continues searching each of the rooms for secret passages or hidden treasure niches.
Perception 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 add +2 for stonework

Tybek Odeon |

"Let's let Ranim negotiate this time."
"Dae yae hae an issue with the price Oi got yae on the loot, halfling? Oi argued strong on yer behalf. Dannae get greedy on mae!"
After clearing the lair of loot and searching for any hidden treasures, Tybek will help load up Arindale's mule and prepare to head back to civilization.
"We've done a thorough job Oi'd say! Shall we head back tae Hommlet, mae friends?"

Braden Montajay |

"Well, I have a basic understanding of what things are worth. We didn't do very well last time. A very intelligent man said: Insanity is doing the same thing again and expecting different results."
Braden reminds Tybek, "The last bit of treasure included one of those bows especially made for strong people and other stuff. I received 25gp. If I tried to by a bow like that, I would probably have to pay 15 to 20 times my last share to get one. Let's try it differently this time. We can't change what happened last time, but we sure can change what happens this time."

Arindale |

Don't listen to him, the reason why we need Ranim to negotiate this time is because you haggled with him so hard he is going to have his back up against the wall and try to make up his money on the next load.
Best to have a fresh and pretty face to put him at ease...don't you think?
BTW not sure if it is really best out of character for Arindale to have the wand but with as much combat as he is likely to see but he really like the thought of owning a magic wand.

Tybek Odeon |

"The last bit of treasure included one of those bows especially made for strong people and other stuff. I received 25gp. If I tried to by a bow like that, I would probably have to pay 15 to 20 times my last share to get one. Let's try it differently this time. We can't change what happened last time, but we sure can change what happens this time."
"Aye, but yae must realize that we were tryin tae unload a boat load o' crap! The bow was likely the most valuable o' thae items, but even so, yae realize that yae wid be lucky tae get five wolves on the sail. The merchant always like tae tak his cut and jacks his price fer sellin. That's whair hagglin comes in!"
"Don't listen to him, the reason why we need Ranim to negotiate this time is because you haggled with him so hard he is going to have his back up against the wall and try to make up his money on the next load. Best to have a fresh and pretty face to put him at ease...don't you think?"
"Aye that's a gud point. Merchants always dae loik a pretty lass. Oi ken that Oi'm handsome wid mae beard an all, but Oi admit that Oi'm nae quite as cute as the lass. Mind yae, Oi dae try tae mak up fer that wid mae charm and wit!"

Ranim Nejem |

Ranim supresses several giggles as Arindle and Braden argue on behalf of her doing the negotiating. "Master Odeon, I would be honored if you would allow me to handle the negotiations this time. I can only hope to do you proud."

Glorfin Umbar-Caeli |
Glorfin's face looks mostly passive... but with a tinge of consternation.
Sick kids, man-flu and crappy internet connectivity is rife at present, so will remain intermittent throughout holiday timeframe.
Sorry for missing the denoument - Glorfin is fine with wrapping up, though perhaps spending a night and seeing if any stragglers come back?

Tybek Odeon |

"Master Odeon, I would be honored if you would allow me to handle the negotiations this time. I can only hope to do you proud."
"Well, if yae wantae and yae think yae ken what yer daein! Then alricht! But yae better nae screw up and gie the goods awa. Yae hae tae ken hae tae handle the greedy bastards!"
Tybek pulls out his pocket watch and declares, "Oi'd say it is time tae get oot of this short wee cavern and mak oor way back towards civilization. Can we gae now or are yae all enjoyin the scenery?!"
