Dungeon Monkey |

The duo step out into the foggy After Antipeak air of the Great Bazaar. The three orcish warriors stand at the roadside, waiting.
"You want a piece, or am I slicing up Drunko the Bard by himself?" The leader inquires, to the sycophantic laughs of his crew
A small crowd of late-night bystanders starts to form. The Great Bazaar is busy no matter the time, and a million lanterns light the foggy scene with a diffused glow
Actions??

The Mad Badger |
"I told you before you want my friend you will need to go through me and my friends. Painbringer and Quick Death. But I will give you and your lap dogs a chance to reconsider before I make you my b#*@+es."
He says as he brandishes his weapons.
Intimidate: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26

Dungeon Monkey |

Initative roll:
1d20 + 3
Just in case ... ack boy that stunk up the joint.
LOL
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Initiatives:
13 Orcs: [attacking]
6 The Crimson Masque: [Casting Unnatural Lust]
4 Mad badger: [pending]
The burly leader reacts quickly, slashing out with his greatsword at the Crimson Masque. His two minions move to flank the Badger.
Leader: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 171d10 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Minions: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 51d10 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 61d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 161d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
The Masque points at a minion and blurbles out a spell
Will save on Unnatural lust: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
The minion seems unaffected
Go Badger!

The Mad Badger |
Bursting into his frothing rage the Mad Badger lashes out at the orcs with unbridled fury.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 191d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 91d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 251d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 151d8 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 181d6 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 141d8 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 151d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
(OOC: Does he get full attack I am basing this on his full attack, morning star, sabre, morningstar and bite)
He swings with both weapons and even moves in to bite one of the orcs there and trying to inflict as much damage and pain as possible on the orc. His eyes crazed and out for blood.
"Arhhh, I will eat your nose off you pansies."
(OOC: did the new intimidate role work? I was thinking since we moved outside I would roll again but wanted to check.0

Dungeon Monkey |

Sorry got involved in other things =/
Roll Intimidate again Badger
One of the attacks hits for the Mad Badger. The lead orc snarls and lashes out at Crimson again
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 211d10 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
The two others circle the Badger
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 231d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 121d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 101d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Forgot flanking bonuses last time
You guys up!

The Mad Badger |
I did a roll an intimidate when Badger came out
"
"I told you before you want my friend you will need to go through me and my friends. Painbringer and Quick Death. But I will give you and your lap dogs a chance to reconsider before I make you my b!@@@es."
He says as he brandishes his weapons.
Intimidate: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26"
But if you want I can roll again.
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

The Mad Badger |
Okay the first one does hit the second one not. So I take 12 damage, so basically the hps I got when I went into rage.
Second attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 241d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 201d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 201d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 251d8 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 171d8 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 191d6 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 161d4 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
He goes after the same one he had hit before trying to bring him down so he can stop their flanking against him.
"now all you have done is piss me off. So I am going to eat you damn kidneys fried with onions."
(OOC: One possible crit with the bite.)
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
So if 22 confirms the crit that is 68 damage on this attack. I imagine, if this attack drops the orc. The cimematic picture of the Mad Badger reaching in to rip out this orcs throat with his teeth as he violently shakes his head back and forth for the killing blow turning to look the second orc in the eyes and says. "Now its your turn."

Dungeon Monkey |

The mad Badger anihalates his foe. Drenched in blood he turns to the other, who breaks and runs into the surrounding crowd.
The Masque draws some blood on the leader. He sees one minion slain and the other fled and decides to retreat as well.
the two are left in a group of cheering onlookers
Well done

The Mad Badger |
He moves to follow the retreating orcs filled with blood rage and the thrill of battle. But looking back at his friend and the state he is in stops himself with considerable effort.
He watches to make certain both orcs run before he leaves his rage exhausted and spent. He pushes himself with some effort back against the wall to rest as he feels the blood rage begin to subside. Looking at his friend the Crimson Masque he smirks.
"You okay?" He sheaths his weapons and hands on his hips he tries to catch his breath. " I warned them not to mess with you. Their fault they could not let it go. I wonder where the hooked nosed guy went?" He glances around to see if he is there.
Then before the vultures step in he reaches over to the dead body and sees if there is a pouch of coin there. If so he takes it. He grabs Crimson Masque and says. "We should find a place for the night but wait here I need to do something. Then walks back into the bar and takes some significant coin from it and hands over to the bar keep. "Sorry for the mess. No hard feelings?"
He then walks back out and checks on Crimmy. "So any ideas my friend? Any sweet hearts who will take us in? I may need to clean up some and get the bllod off if it is a nice place."

The Mad Badger |
He steps back a avoiding the spray of vomit left by the Masque. "We should change you name to the Technicolored Masque after this night I think."
He places a hand on his back as the Masque empties the rest of the contents of his stomach on the street.
"Let's get you a place to sleep this off. You head is going to hurt tomorrow. I just hope you remember what happened so you can put it into a ballad. I think we have worn out our welcome a little here though."
After paying the bar keep and making his way off with what ever else of value the dead orc has he helps the Masque to a place for the night making certain to keep him in front of him and moving so they can find a spot for the night.

Dungeon Monkey |

Don't forget your drunk monkey friend!
The dead orc has a pouch of coins 150 gp, and he sports miscellaneous facial jewelry and rings 500 gp. The beggars in the crowd fall on his carcass once the Mad Badger finishes, stripping armor and clothing.
The duo stagger off into the Great Bazaar. It is nearing Before Peak 6 am, and the streets are about as quiet as they ever get. The night workers are headed home, and the day workers have yet to emerge from their kips to face the day. A few desperate whores call out end-of-the-evening offers to the two. Most of them are without a john at this hour for a reason.
The weather has thickened up into a fairly heavy rain. The cold brown droplets drench Crimson, waking him from his drunken stupor a bit. A thudding headache begins to form, begging for a scale of the dragon what bit him.
Along the Great Bazaar's periphery are legions of inns at all price points. Also, their home base is a two-hour walk. They could also rent a cab. Thousands of different conveyances vie for custom on the streets, from a few copper stars to more money than they looted from the dead orc.
Actions??

The Mad Badger |
The Mad Badger shrugs his shoulders and says "Why not though I imagine I will need alot more women than yours." he laughs then looks around to see if he can arrange rides for the two of them. Seeing if there are women to carry the bard and he will arrange his own transport but does not worry about the gender being more pratical and wanting to have some money left for a place to stay. Krovak just wants a nice clean bed and place to take a shower and have a hearty breakfast in the morning. Perhaps even use the cash for a weeks stay instead of blowing it all on one night.

Dungeon Monkey |

The man who was conversing with the orcs seems to have vanished in the ensuing uproar.
The duo find two palanquins carried by fetching maidens in silky arabian garb. They cost 50 Ladies apiece for the ride, but that's the price you pay for style.
The head bearer, a fetching lass named Gemini offers to find them a good inn.
"Most pleasing effendis, with silken sheets and a well-stocked common room!"

The Mad Badger |
The Badger not used to such luxury does not fall alseep and looks about and enjoys the ride as well as the view he is allowed. When they arrive he pays the fee and tips Gemini well. Giving her a wink and saying "Thank you for the ride Gemini we will see you again. Remember the names Crimson masque and the Mad Badger." He grabs his friend hauls the passed out bard over his shoulder and strides into this establishment asking for a room and a bath still covered in gore from the battle someone will need to wash this one. Me I can wash myself but I will require food hot and beer strong." he throws down some of the rings he gained from the orc as well as some of the cash from his own winnings from the evening. "If you need more I have it. Where is my room? I will take him to his too. How soon can we have a bath?"

Dungeon Monkey |

The inn is called the Silk Pillow, and seems more of a brothel than a proper inn. The madam rushes up and tsks at their condition.
"You poor boys have had a busy Antipeak! Here, I can set you up nicely."
She takes the jewelry and whatever coins are left from the orcs and ushers them into a velvet-paneled common room. Two smiling girls lead them off to a bath room, a 10' wide pool of hot water steaming in it.
The two are given a good scrubbing by the two 'attendants'. Beer and smoking joints of meat arrive. They are soon fed and clean.
"Lords, shall we retire to your rooms?" One of the attendands ask, smiling

The Mad Badger |
Dungeon Monkey wrote:Hmm? [Yawn] What time is it? Oh, thank you.Beer and smoking joints arrive. They are soon fed and clean.
"Looks like the ladies want to take us back to our rooms. Are you up for it? I could use some relaxation especially after our little encounter a massage perhaps. Then some other extra cariccular activity after that. I guess I will see you in the morning Crimmy? Come find me when you are done."

The Mad Badger |
Kravok grabs a women in each hand and slings them over each shoulder. "Lets go to bed I feel a little frisky. See you in a while."
The Mad Badger makes his way to his room and enjoys the company of the ladies until sleep takes him and he awakens later.
When he gets up he has breakfast and does some exercise and then goes to find Crimson.

Dungeon Monkey |

The Crimson Masque goes to one room, the Mad Badger to another. They spend a lively Peak sporting with their consorts before falling asleep in a nest of silken pillows.
They awake after a long rest when the women return and wake them with piping hot coffee and sugary sweetbreads.
Frumious awakes and stretches.
"Oh Heaveans that was an odd night!" He exclaims
Actions?

The Mad Badger |
The Mad Badger strides into the room without knocking hearing the snoring. He looks around for the basin for water and to wash your face. Picks it up walks over to his friend and pours it out over his head. "Hey time to get up your snoring is keeping the whole place up. We have places to go, we have to check in with the guild and see whats what. I heard we may have a job coming up and after last night I think we will be needing cash once again."

The Mad Badger |
I was figuring this would be a parallel game where you learn about Sigil. It doesn't look like we will be sitting down in RL anytime soon.
(OOC: Fair enough. Maybe this is a different job then? Something the guild gets hired to handle in the city of Sigil?)

The Crimson Masque |
The Crimson Masque spring out of bed nude and goes through his daily routine of cleansing with scented soaps and oils and doing callisthenics and voice exercises. He gets dressed (I hope The Silk Pillow has a laundry to take care of my vomit-bespackled clothes) and ties on his signature mask of disguise.
Let us go, dear Badger, and earn much coin and do much derring! Where's the monkey?

The Mad Badger |
"Right here on me shoulder. They already washed your clothes last night, they would not let you in the bed with them on. " he gives his friend a toothy grin.
"Man you are just like a woman taking all that time with scented oils and stuff to get ready in the morning. No wonder those guys last night wanted to start a fight with you... you smelled too good. " He gives a chuckel at his own joke. "Anyways we showed them. Word will get around. Anyways my friend Pogo sent word to me guild might be needing some sword arms, I thought we would get there first and see if we could take the job."
