Space Between
Game Master
Eben al'Jol
The Space Between is a free-flowing, rotating-DM, episodic style game that explores the idea that the place between life and death, dreaming and waking, and day and night is one single, if ever-changing and timeless place.
DM Ben wrote: The test I’m thinking of is fairly similar to the B.A.S. in nature … basically an encounter he has to overcome. I’m still working through the details (and I kind of want Dien to get to read along and make choices as her “entry” into the game, just like we did with Mal and Priyya in that big fight against B.A.S.), but it will require much blowing stuff up and possibly a bit of searching on a kind of timed basis. Imagine a mountain-top frozen ruins, waves of summoned minions, and the need to find the McGuffin before Zeon is snuffed out) :D Sweet! I'll grab my popcorn and watch the fireworks!
Hey D,
Just so you don't think you've been forgotten, Ben and I have been forming horrible plans discussing Zeon's story arc and making some arrangements. Do not despair.
Agreed. We're like ducks. Calm above-water, churning away beneath the surface.
Yeah, or like icebergs - when only 10% is visible above the surface... and the PCs are named Titanic.
Haha, no worries guys. I had a very hectic weekend so I didn't even give it a thought. :P
The patience is mucho appreciated, compadres.
Hmmm ... it appears that I've lost my old Space Between docs. Lame.
Luckily there weren't that many. But that old map and the stats for these bone-walking baddies have to be recreated. Ah, well. Progress continues!
Bummer! Best luck reconstructing.
Yah, I'm figuring it out. Pretty easy stuff, once I tracked down the source material. :)
Yeah, who doesn't have a copy of the Necronomicon laying around. :p
Is that the flayed-skin bound first edition or the bound-in-sentient-shadow second edition? I hear the skinned edition really doesn't do well with excessive heat.
Ah. That could explain why my car speedometer has been stuck on 666 for weeks and also that constant smell of burning flesh.
Given that I live in a region where summer temperatures cause it to be frequently confused with Hell, it was a foregone conclusion....
Still here, guy and gal! Work is kicking my butt. I'm making progress as I can between trying to keep my other games updated. :/
(though i even dropped a game yesterday due to general PbP overload ... don' worry, it was in a natural story-break where the DM was asking if we wanted to continue. The game continues, just without my character.)
Sorry for the delay. You are not forgotten. SB awesomeness is still in the works.
Like I've said, I'm not going anywhere. :P Best of luck with work....
