We should decide fast. If the paladin looks at this door the wrong way, some of you will glow brighter than the bonfire we're apparently planning to set."

Thinking for a second Marnarius looks at Dreads and says "The holy warrior is the most dangerous right off the bat, he has abilities that will affect all of us I suspect, and those will hurt. The mage, while dangerous, we may resist some of his magik tricks plus he needs to concentrate to cast magik, we can counter that. The gunner will get a shot off regardless of what we do. I would cast whatever mind altering spell on him since the holy man may resist better. Send Zurn and someone else after the mage, send us sneaks to flank the holy man, use our casters to stop the gunner. The gunner should fall first, or be disabled first, then Zurn whollops the mage while the rest of us keep the holy man busy until we can all gang up on him. Remember there is no mercy in this fight. You put them down make sure they are down. Marnarius then checks the sharpness of his new blade.

If there's anything else done before the door opens, let me know, otherwise...
When the door opens, you see the unremarkable Hao Jin Tapestry bearing intricate but heavily worn geometric patterns along its length hangs on the far end of this meeting room. A rune-inscribed circle set into the floor completely contains a table at the room’s center.
The table is surrounded by three guards, whom you are expecting to see. Ralirio stands above the table hands on his musket looking toward the door. Loshari stands leaning her falchion against a chair and Telandril stands leaning on his greatsword.
Telandril pipes up, "Are you lost? The festivities are all outside. No reason to be in here.. for anyone else." He glances sideways at Loshari.

Rataji continues towards the tapestry and answers Telandril,"There has been creditable intelligence that someone is going to make an attempt to open the tapestry. You don't get quite as far.
As Marnarius goes to walk past Telandril, Telandril raises his sword to block the way, "He asked you to leave. We are responsible for the guard duty, and are to not allow access to this room to anyone else, under any circumstances. These orders were from Master Zey himself. If we are to believe that the Tapestry may be under attack, perhaps it is you that are the attackers."
If anyone else moved up within the first couple squares with Rataji and Marnarius, you should do so. Otherwise, I'll be making another post once I have access to my laptop. I'll check on your question then Shohiraj.

Did not see that, my bad. We'll keep mostly the same first round actions as they still hold with the Confusion roll, the gunslinger rather than paladin is confused and he does not 5 ft. up. Rataji will heed the advice of 322 and move after he cast his spell.
Are you still casting your spell? You might have missed in the confusion over who got confused, but you took two bullets and are currently staggered at 0 hp. Just casting the spell will cause you to fall unconscious and start bleeding out. The GM offered you the chance to retcon your action as a result of the mixup. You might want to reconsider your current course, particularly because you are targeting an opponent who's confused anyway.
Though given how the GM is rolling, that probably won't affect him much.
