So we figure out what happened to the family...

Interestingly the comment about separating parents and children was motivated by a conversation I had with my daughter about event's in the news at this time. Without discussing the actual events or opinions. Her masters degree is in 'teaching english' as a second language. She volunteers time at the community center (where she is employed) to tutor refugee children.

            Hi.
Some of you have probably noticed this across multiple games and I'm sure everyone has marked the generally slower pace in the past while. The short version is that my mental health and RL have not been the best. Dealing with that has consumed a good portion of the energy that was going to keeping more on top of things here. So for about a week, I've been doing a trial of tending half the six every day, alternating. Day 1 is Against the Necromancers, Iron Gods, and Dragonlance. Day 2 is Wrath, Ziggurat, and Writhing Coast. (I split them up based on display order on my Campaigns tab.) It's Day 2 as I'm writing this.
That's proved a lot more compatible with my life at present. It's not what I promised going in and I'm sorry, but it was this or close down at least two of the games. Probably three. If RL interferes or there's too much to manage -simultaneous combats is the main suspect here- on a game's day, I'll do my best to get it done in the following day. I'll also try to peek in to answer quick questions and things like that on off days, but can't make any promises about it.
Besides that, normal practice applies. I might occasionally go missing, but if I can't swing updates when they're due I'll try to say something.

That's cool, I'm glad you can see the issues and work out a solution that helps, that in itself is a big step. If there is anything we can do to make the process simpler let us know.

Hi ho, players. The boards are back but I bring some bad news: Namtar will no longer be with us. I think we're still reasonably well set at four, but if we've lost someone else I'll give serious thought to re-recruitment.
I also used the occasion to clean up the character listing a bit. Pretty sure I didn't flag anyone still playing as inactive, but if I did give me a scream and I can fix it.

The one dude in leathers is just unconscious, stunned, and blinded. If you wait a bit you can tie him up and break fingers until he sings beautiful, beautiful songs. Perhaps even plot-relevant ones, but I think we're all in it for the art.

I forgot that, but yeah we can do that. He's out of the fight either way.
Also there's always the guy Arundel just made cough up a whole jar of Planter's, but he's only stunned for a round or so I think. Always possible he runs away or gets his weapon back and goes on a crit spree.

            Posted to all games:
Starting in one week, on Saturday the 21st, I will be completely offline until either Sunday the 30th or Monday the 1st. I am going on an international trip to Africa and internet there is practically nonexistent for uses such as playing PbP. If I am a player, please bot me. If I'm your GM, sorry for the delay. I'll be back. Promise.

I'm posting this in the games I play in
I wanted to explain my drop in posting rate.
Previously the majority of my posts happened while I was at work. I worked third shift at a treatment facility. I used the boards as a tool to help keep myself awake. I have recently left that job and am now looking for employment.
I'm trying to balance RL responsibilities with the games I'm in, but I no longer have eight hours that I'm sitting at the computer looking for something to do. Between the stress of RL and attempting to find a balance in schedule the quantity and quality of my posting rate has suffered.
I'm planning on staying in the games I'm presently in and I appreciate everyone's patience while I figure out how to make it work.

So, what are the tenets of the paladins of osiris? Is she a diety that would murder the plain-as-day evil necromancer?
Gunidu is now bound and helpless. Doing him in now would be outright murder rather than execution and that's not Ishtar's way.
However, she is very strongly opposed to necromancy except in narrow circumstances, like the heroic sacrifice of someone's eternal rest to protect a sacred place. This is not that. Ideally, the faith would have Gunidu turned over to the authorities for trial and execution. Legally, that should be the nearest priest of Gilgeam but it's reasonable to suppose that that would just lead to Gunidu getting sprung and/or ending up working for said priest. Rendering him to the local temple of Ishtar, if it could be done quietly, would be ideal.

I began playing pathfinder four and a half years ago here on-line. It has been a wonderful time but I believe that journey has ran its course and come to an end. I am in a dozen games and I feel that those I have been playing with deserve an explanation for my decision to leave the games at this time.
When I started playing I was working nights; alone, bored and able to post for several hours a day. Posting at work was the perfect opportunity to be involved with others and create together. I was able to check the games regularly from home as well, due to fewer responsibilities at that time.
In October I left that job and have started working at a call center where I am talking to people all day long. Not only has my ‘posting time’ been cut to almost nothing. But the time I spend communicating with others has increased exponentially. Also, my RL responsibilities have increased significantly. Both mine and my wife’s mothers have been diagnosed with dementia and we spend a couple hours a day caring for them.
My posts have become shallow, my characters one dimensional. I am not happy with how I am playing, nor with what I am getting accomplished in RL with what little ‘down time’ I have. I appreciate the stories we have shared together. I know the games will continue, I will read along when I can. I wish everyone good luck and a good year.
Samnell, I've really enjoyed the game, I hope things go well for you all.

Sorry for my own absence. Work pressures and holiday madness combined to get me very far behind, and then the overwhelming 'oh dang, there are really 38 new posts? I'll get to those when I have more time...' kept me away longer than it aught to have. Caught up now, though.
What are we going to do, with Trib out? We're down to just 3 players, might be tricky.
