I've done that. Sometimes I think the boards bug out, but human error is always an option for me. :)
Since it's such a good roll, we'll use that one regardless of who throws the CLW. Applied now.
Chotka 11/13, Groomahk 5/18, Izzak 7/19, Karek 12/12, Owen 14/14, Rikal 12/12

Rikal Elkhorn |

Rikal is impressed by Groomahk's strength. Clearly, this Orc was a great and powerful warrior. They were fortunate to have one such as their ally.

Groomahk |

Groomahk pounds his bloodied chest and snarls. hah! groomahk Hegh jISuvvIpbe' pagh! porgh ghom muv ghaH! He bares his tusks, and seems ready to challenge Chotka. HoS groomahk pagh jey puj 'emDaq DIS nuv! But, then bares his neck to his war chief in submission, completely the ritual of defiance. He rubs more dirt into his wounds and then nods for the shaman to call upon the spirits. He seethes with anger and pent-up energy, eager to enter battle and spill more life-water upon the stones!

Surprise & Round 1
Freshly healed and swollen to massive size, Groomahk threw aside the doors at the far end of the metal tunnel and stepped into a fresh chamber. There he found a tangle of what seemed to have once been cages frames of metal bars sporting numerous holes. Among the bars, he saw bones laying about. Sometime living had died there, long ago.
He had only a moment to take in the scene before a pair of metal men rose from the rubble. They made babbling noises, the sound twisted by their metal forms and full of hissing and crackles.
The tubes over their shoulders, just like the one the sworn band fought in Torch, spun open and coughed out sprays of black strands at Groomahk.
You were loud. They were sleeping robots. We've all been there.

Rikal Elkhorn |

Upon hearing the metal men speak, Karek feels a chill as he understands the words. He had never thought the language in his visions would escape into the real world, and be spoken by such abominations. Was he cursed? What had that foul brew done to him?
Angered, he looks at one of the creatures and lets forth a battle cry. To that robot, the cry is much louder and more powerful.
Ear-piercing scream: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Round 1
Owen stalked forward to Groomahk's side, blade bare and wary of the ways of metal men. Feeling a chill at his understanding the words of the tin horrors, Rikal made a piercing battle cry. Sparks shot from beneath the metal man's chestplate.
Immunity to any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects, or is harmless).
I think what's intended here is that they be immune to the daze part of the spell, but not the damage since obviously you can damage objects. So be it.

Round 1
With a roar, Groomakh swung his blood-letter in a powerful arc. The weapon glanced off the unnatural metal skin of his foe. Bloodlust singing, he then bit the same abomination. Cold metal filled his mouth, but his jaws could not dent it.
Karek followed up, moving on the steel horror that Groomakh hadn't pressed. He struck with his axe, but the curve of metal skin turned the blade so only the flat of it struck home.
The wounded metal man emitted a spray of silvery sparks and its sundered skin began to knit closed. The metal men spoke again:
Their pincers closed and they swung their metal arms at Karek and Groomahk. Groomahk's attacker slipped on loose debris, his arm flyign wide. Karek's came so near to contact that it stirred the warrior's hair.
Chotka, seeing the crowd about the metal men, invoked the spirits to guide the sworn band's arms.

Round 2
Owen sidled over and swung his blade in a steel arc. The metal man threw up an arm to deflect his blow, but Owen saw it in time and with a twist of his wrist brought his steel down on an vulnerable spot. The blade struck deep into the horror's innards, making it shoot sparks and leak strange fluids. The metal man spoke again.
Rikal leaped and dodged forward, coming up to Groomahk's side in a series of agile movements that left him well clear of the metal man's reaching pincers.
Izzak tried his scythe again, but even wounded the robot proved able to dodge his strike.

** spoiler omitted **
Yeah you did; I messed up. But you murder both of them either way.
Groomahk cut one of the metal men neatly in twain. It spat sparks and fluid as its halves fell and went dark. He wheeled on the other, seized it in both hands, and bit its throat through. With a heave, he dragged most of the abomination's innards from their skin and threw them on the ground where they sparked and died.
Really should have stuck with the AC 16 :)

Groomahk |

end rage
Groo holds the ruined metal-man above his head an roars in triumph. His tongue darts out and he laps up its life as it rains down upon his shoulders. When he is done, coated in battle-sweat, he rips through the creature, searching for its heart. Not finding one, he snarls in rage and tosses the ruined thing to the side. Then, he turns to the other metalman and rips through it as well searching for a heart and licking its blood from his hands.
He roars again in triumph, crushing what remains of its head beneath his foot and slamming his fist to his chest before taking hand to the sliding doors and shoving them to the side
if there's nothing in the next room, he stays unraged. If there is something there he'll rage

Groomahk |

Groomahk snorts and stomps into the next room. The battle-sweat of the metalmen steams on his muscled hide. He grips the doors and pulls them to the idea again.

Groomahk |

Groomahk will not suffer a straw death! He readies himself for battle, covered in the life of the metal-men, he growls softly and stalks through the twisting hall to the creature. He pokes it with the point of his steel wound-hoe.

Owen Ninefingers |

I thought I added one for robot slayer and subtracted one for power attack... never mind, forgot about the bless.
Owen feels a long forgotten thrill of satisfaction as he and his battle companions smashed the metal monsters to pieces. The purity of purpose that fills him in this moment is worth wading through any number of ankle biting critters.
He hurries to keep up with the destructive force of nature that is Groomahk.

Rikal Elkhorn |

The battle against those metal men ended, Rikal briefly pokes through the rubble before following Groomahk down the hallway. Upon seeing the purple fleshy creature, he takes care to examine it from a distance to determine what it is.

"I've not seen such a creature. Is it perhaps playing at being dead to ambush us?"

Groomahk |

Groomahk, turns back to the rest of the sworn band. Unsure of what's going on, or why they waited, he marches over to the snail creature and stabs it with his sword

Samnell |

The sworn band pressed on, coming out of the tunnel and into a vast cavern. A cold desert valley spread wide before them, the roof lost beyond the reach of even orcish vision. Here and there strange, spiked shells and oddly-shaped, long dead plants stuck through the sand. Rough cliffs formed the walls, spreading out to either side
The area is too big to really squeeze on a map. It goes out past the limits of darkvision.

Chotka, Last of the Blackeyes |

Chotka looked about and sniffed the air. "This is a strange place. Too open for inside, but the air is too calm for outside, I do not like it. Does anyone see the tracks of my brothers?" Chotka asked as he began to search the sand before him.

He follows Groomahk into the cavern.
