Round 1: Actions
Move Action: Follow the others in
Standard Action:Cast bless
Viridi winces as the voices around her turn to gibberish, and she calls out a prayer in melodic-sounding gibberish.
Everyone's weapons feel lighter, and surer to strike.
GM Wilken
After Viridi walks up and blesses her allies, Ansgar and Garbund advance against the boar striking with their weapons. Ansgar finds a solid hit against the animal's back, making it bleed profusely; Garbund misses his attack as the boar recoils from the sword impact.
Seeing the boar is distracted, Denlar connects with an impressive punch to the boar's nose, making the animal fall into the grass, unconscious.
"Impressive.", Aldern mutters to himself.
Viridi Sorn
Viridi swallows in relief as the fight ends as swiftly as it begun.
She moves to the new half-orc. "Excuse me, sir? Do you need healing?"
Denlar Nulan
Denlar looks at the woman, then himself over.
"The blood is from the beast, well I think most of it is from the beast. Might be a bit that is mine but I will survive. What are you all doing here?"
Denlar is very tall, broad of shoulder and fierce of smile, his armor is dented but well worn, bristling with spikes and razors of all sorts.
Ansgar Ercanbald
"Being from Magnimar has little to do with it, since I am from there has well." Ansgar says with a bit of a grin on his face.
Turning to the lone warrior, "I am Ansgar, what is your name?"
GM Wilken
Aldern rides up to Denlar.
"Greetings friend. I'm Aldern Foxglove. It seems we both found the same boar to hunt. Would you mind sharing it with us? We come from Sandpoint and there is a innkeeper there who makes a wonderful roast boar."
Denlar Nulan
Denlar looks down at the board then up at Aldern.
"I will give you half, I am out searching for Giants." Denlar pulls out his hatchet and starts to carve chunks out of the boar.
" Are we far from Sandpoint?"
Ansgar Ercanbald
"Half seems fair. And we are not too far from Sandpoint." Ansgar says.
I never did tell people about the goblins...
"Do any of you know anything about the Thistletop goblins?" Ansgar suddenly asks.
GM Wilken
"We could aways hunt a second boar and make a big feast.", Aldern says. "I don't think you'll find giants around here, but Sandpoint was in need of warriors last time i saw."
Ansgar Ercanbald
"The town is safe for now, but another blade would be welcome." Ansgar confirms.
Looking at the boar as Denlar cuts it up, "I think hunting another boar would be a great idea, then there would be enough to go around."
GM Wilken
Denlar is able to find a couple of tracks and soon the group finds itself even deeper in the forest. After a couple of minutes walking the group arrives at a point where the tracks and the destruction are much bigger, so much so that even those without any tracking expertise can tell it probably belong to a much bigger boar than the one the party just fought.
"We could try to hunt this huge boar, i bet it would be quite challenging...But maybe we should just play it safe and search another like the one we just fought...What do you think, ladies and gentlemen?", Aldern asks.
Ansgar Ercanbald
"I think that we may as well try for this boar. Worst comes to worst we simply give it an opening to run away through. Its instinct will surely be to run away at that point and not fight." Ansgar says while surveying the destruction the boar caused.
GM Wilken
As the group follows the trail of destruction, the forest becomes emptier and quieter, it seems other animals never come to this part of the woods. A few minutes follow untill the group can hear a heavy and slow breathing coming from southeast, the creature seems to have noticed as well, because it stands up and grunts loudly. Aldern winces as you finally turn a corner and are able to see a huge boar amidst devastated trees.
"...Last chance to give up if you want, i don't think this boar will just run from us...", his grip tightens around his spear as the boar stares at him.

"...W-wow...That was a big boar...", Aldern mutters, crouching near Ansgar to see if he is fine. "I can ride back to sandpoint carrying him, can you four handle the two boars?"
Viridi Sorn
Viridi gasps for breath and retrieves her spear before shakily walking over to Ansgar. "O-oh--oh my..."
"...I-I wasn't expecting that boar to put up so much of a fight..." She swallows and nods. "...I think I can help carry some boars back."
Denlar Nulan
"Yes I can, I want half of the smaller one. I want the tusks as well, might make good shoulder spikes for my armor."
Denlar takes out his rope and ties it into the larger boar, then he opens his water skin and pours some on to Ansgar's face.
"Come round you. We killed him dead."
Ansgar Ercanbald
Ansgar wakes up, feeling less than optimal. As water rains down on his face he sputters for a breath. "Den.. Den.. Denlar! Enough. I'm awake." Ansgar coughs as he sits up.
Looking at the boar, "Yes, killed him dead you did indeed."
Standing fully, and thanking people for the concern, Ansgar begins to clean himself and his weapons of blood.
"So what next?"
GM Wilken
"That was quite brave from all of you, i guess even my boar hunting skills can't measure up to real heroes...Has anyone seen our little friend?", he looks around worried.
"I'm sure he's fine.", Kalais shrugs. "Lets head back."
The journey back takes longer as the boars are much heavier than expect, Denlar doesn't have a horse, and everyone is half-exhausted from the run. Still, after one hour, the group arrives in Sandpoint. The townsfolk are mostly busy with their work and either don't see the big party with horses and boars or have decided to ignore it for some reason...
GM Wilken
"You probably want to do the same, friend.", Aldern says to Denlar. "Besides being an excellent cook, lady Kaijitsu owns one of the finest Inns in town, you might want a room there."
Denlar Nulan
"I will share my portion of the kill, I might even be talked into helping around the town. You told me there are not giants around here so I will need some coin to travel further north to find some."
Denlar drags his share of the boars back
GM Wilken
The group walks into the Rusty Dragon Inn, a large structure with an iron dragon figure at the roof, the inn smells of spiced food. A couple of patrons are chatting loudly, but they become quiet as the group walks in and move to a table on a far corner of the inn.
"Oh, good morning you all, looks like your boarhunt was a bloodbath.", Ameiko says, before lowering her voice. "I'm...Not sure what you did, but Ven Vinder, the owner of the general store, has been talking some pretty nasty stuff about all of you..."
