Ausk listens to the second boy, his massive hands clenched tightly. A deep breath exhales as he listens to Thistle's clever ruse. He then kneels next to the boy.
"Young one," He asks the little girl with a surprisingly soft voice. "Do you know what I am?"
A dulled-tusked grin eases across his face.
Scarier than a basketful of spiders? LOL

Although it did take 2.25 hours for this to show up on my Reader.

"Madame, I'm sure that the quality of your care is exemplary. I humbly consider myself a good judge of one's character, and my companions should rest easy in knowing that you seem to be cut from the same cloth as myself.
Meaningful pause
At the risk of swelling Rob's head more than usual ;-), this is brilliant.

Yes, but probably because I didn't want to have 2 simultaneous conversations going on at once. It's hard enough to follow 1 train of thought on a forum.

So...shirt re-rolls. Discuss.
On one hand, you need the help.
On the other hand, have you been wearing your shirt the entire time? I dunno.
Seems a little cheese, but not enough for me to make a ruling without input.
What do you think?

![]() |

I normally keep one with me when I game. I only use it in dire circumstances (Rob's concentration check counts, in this case).
I'm fairly lax in my restrictions when it comes to the shirts, though. Players can only get one, but I will let anyone who brings a shirt give it to someone else at my table. And being lax inside our circle has been the norm (i.e., we've let people we know have shirts use them), for better or worse.

I'm also quite lax with the shirt reroll rules, in part because it pops up so infrequently these days. I prefer that the shirt (or folio) is present, but I don't particularly care if they're being worn/used.
While I also see Jonquet's side, which is that the whole point of the reroll is that it is a perk for advertising Pathfinder, Paizo has already received the benefit of me buying the shirt (in the form of cash money).
I do think it's a little cheese, TBH, which is why I a) never really wear the shirt and b) don't complain if that precludes me from using it.

Chronicle sheet can be found here.
Just add your info. I think Sarge has a day job, so you can just roll that at your leisure.

I'd suggest adding a cleric too. you guys keep your characters, and we try and find a 5th person. anyone got any suggestions?

Also, since the map is pretty big, how hard would it be to have MapTool as the map. We still RP & roll dice here. The cool thing about MapTool is that i can use the fog of war and tokens and stuff. It will be MUCH easier to do mapping.

thunderspirit |

MapTool is okay, though I'd be limited in my ability to see it at work. I have CotE at home, so I can see if I can scan the maps in and chunk them up for you.
I also think a five-person might be ideal for keeping things moving. As for recruits, I know many of the people you all do, meaning we're largely talking about the same pool. there are some who'd be good players to recruit but their availability is spotty, while some who have shown good availability aren't my favorite people with whom to play (won't name specifics on the latter, but the point stands).

the cool thing about maptool is that it runs as java, so you can run it using any machine. my home server would be up 24/7, and when we need to, we can connect. it doesn't have any issues with firewalls either.
5 is good, and i agree about the limited quality pickinz for a fifth player.

Nah, we just use this thread to track availability, and everyone can keep me honest.

I use Maptools for several online "real time" games in which I play, so I'm familiar with it (and like it quite a lot). But, I'm in the same boat as Chris -- I wouldn't be able to access Maptools during weekdays, while I'm at work (fairly draconian IT policies here).
I had mentioned to Rene last week that I might have another potential player -- long-time RPG player, and a good friend of mine. He's played tons of OP stuff (RPGA, etc.), and has done a fair amount of Pathfinder (including some PFS) in the past year. His biggest issue will be if he can commit to a game. Working on him now. :-)

if there are work issues with having maptools (you don't install it, you just run it so things are a little easier), then i say we don't use it. I wonder if there is a map server program that is browser based.
