Forgive me, I forgot to give it. You had a fair amount of time to re-arm and re-equip. If it was something that there's no way you carry on your person, then it's still back on the ship. Otherwise, you have it with you.

Hmmm... Also, Tark, I now notice that you have lamellar as well. Same question to Pai, to you as well. It's not a common thing in the Shackles. How'd you come by it?

Tarchinis would have the lamellar from his Chelaxian days. (I really have no idea why Paizo considered lamellar an eastern armor. It's been around western Europe since the roman republic, and the vikings were using variations of it by 800 a.d....), but I can swap it out if you like.

I'll his sea-chest and contents are still shipboard.

Also, what knowledge skill is appropriate to ID the gobliny-tentaclly-thingies?

I've not heard of a lamellar armor in europe, but rather the similar scale armors. At least in Pathfinder, the armor is typically not used in Golarion. Having it as either a rare purchase in Cheliax (something exotic) or taken from a ship in the Shackles was something that I'm looking for mainly. A NPC might mention it, so I wanted to make sure you had an idea.

The skill is Knowledge(dungeoneering).

I live on the top of a hill, last night a raging fire erupted on said hill, literally across the street from my house. Burn burn burn!!!!. Luckily the fire department responded quickly, and got it taken care of before any property damage, but it was still a really scary night.

I make it a point not to let stuff from my character bleed over. So no worries there. I think the root of Sunny's problem is her lack of clothes, Sandara is tired of healing your sunburn. xP

So both grandmothers are home finally, but still recovering. Both suffered some bumps and bruises. They'll need help around the house, but they're otherwise okay.

One had a nasty cut on her forehead, but nothing requiring hospitalization. The other had a hematoma on the surface of her brain and required ICU care. Fortunately, it was at the hospital my mother works at, her unit even, so she got great care. Neuro checks every 30 minutes. Thankfully, she hadn't started back on her coumadin but a couple of days earlier, so the bleeding wasn't extensive.

I appreciate the understanding that people have shown. Let's get this game moving forward once again.

I am waiting to see what they are. If they are lizardfolk or something like that they can be talked to. If they are just gators or some animal then we can just attack, without using guns that would be heard from anywhere on the island. ;)

^ plus each shot is expensive. 3gp per shot.

(I don't think we were told how long we could be stick here. So I being selective with my shots. 30 rounds can be expended quick. )

Um...so are we really thinking of attacking some giant frogs...

With nothing more than the daggers held between our teeth?

We can go 'around' them....do what we have to do and thence return to the ship and pick up some x-bows and bows and such to catch said frogs and with which to make stew.

Though you'll not see Sunny chowing down on said giant toad. :P

I would not like to return lugging anything thru enemy terf. More so when its a bog area where anything we may be bring back could be lost or stuck in said bog if attacked then. Better to clear our path when we are not being weighed down by anything, except Sunny due to her chest. Does it have straps or something or do you just hold it up front? You must get splinters or rash burn being naked and all. xP

The daggers are only for range, its going to be melee real fast because they will try to grapple someone with their tongue attack I bet.

Sunny is lugging her chest generally on her shoulder. To get it across the bog I'd kind of planned to simply tie it to the rope and swing it across. Once we have folks on either side.

Still...just waving daggers at critters..? I'm not sure.

Going back to the boat and picking up a x-bow or two does seem like a good idea. Now that people have noticed that only stalwart Gene has a ranged weapon.

And an expensive one to shoot with, at that.

I learned a long time ago to always have a melee and ranged weapon. Thats just basic adventurer know how, kinda strange no one else did. x3
