After the amazing blow from the hobgoblin, Kavaki sees an opening and attempts to follow the attack with an attempt to trip the enemy...
At 4th level, a flowing monk can use redirection against an opponent that the flowing monk threatens and that attacks an ally with a melee attack. At 8th level, a flowing monk can make both a reposition and a trip maneuver as part of a single immediate action with this ability. At 12th level, a flowing monk can use redirection against any opponent that attacks him in melee, even if the flowing monk is not threatening the opponent who attacks him. A flowing monk can use this ability once per day per monk level, but no more than once per round. This ability replaces stunning fist.

Kavaki's attempt to trip the hobgoblin with redirection fails, but after taking the hobgoblin's attack Kavaki manages to succesfully trip the hobgoblin.
The hobgoblin's just barely on the floor when Kavaki stomps him in the face. Kavaki then slips past the prone hobgoblin without the least hint of effort. Meanwhile Chyras, Alanya, Branson and Traceni moves closer.
When the hobgoblin tries to stand up from his prone position he provokes another attack from Kavaki.

"Sure Branson, you probably have a better ida about how to use it anyway."
Kavaki will systematically do a room check starting with the door above Alanya, and working counterclockwise back to where we entered this area. Taking 20 on each door to check for traps or noise on the other side.
StephNyan
The small rooms Kavaki searches, formerly the cells of Aroden’s clergy, are mostly dark, although narrow, barred windows dimly light those along the exterior walls.
The rooms in this area now contains guest quarters for Pathfinders and a number of conference rooms. The rooms marked Q on the map are guest chambers; most contain simple beds (their mattresses slit open), broken desks, and upturned wardrobes. The rooms marked C are conference rooms, with solid wood tables, finely carved chairs, and easels for displaying maps and charts. All valuables in these rooms are gone, and the area's ransacked. this left refuse throughout the main hallway, making it difficult terrain.
Traceni puts away her shield and morningstar while she stares absently into the air. "I have to go," she suddenly announces, just before Kavaki enters the door to the next room. "I will maybe see you later. The fairies need me now."
She runs back the way the party came, and disappears from the cathedral.
Kyra Nagi - pregen
You hear a door open in the secret corridor, and a young woman enters the secret corridor. She notices the party, and moves closer.
"My name's Kyra. I'm a cleric of Sarenrae, and the Society sent me after you to aid you. One of you passed me in the hallway, and I have a feeling I arrived just in time?"
"Because I'm a cleric I can cast healing spells, but I have prepared only one cure light wounds spell. I can also cast bless and shield of faith, each once. Let me know if you want their effects, else I'll use them when I think I should."

Branson, unless you want to be the "healer", feel free to give the wand to our new friend.
when everyone is ready, kavaki will again take 20 perception and check the door before opening.
StephNyan
Kavaki hears a voice behind the door, but can't hear what's being said. He carefully opens the door after Kyra's been given the wand.
The High Chapel
A soft blue glow fills this room, emanating from the stained-glass windows lining three of its walls, each depicting a godlike figure in a different city. Frescoes of angels lifting Aroden to the sky cover the ceiling.
Despite its obvious design as a chapel, the room itself has no religious trappings. Instead of pews, the remnants of a large wooden table and a dozen chairs fill the chamber. Much of their wood has been cannibalized to create a makeshift wooden gallows across the chamber’s eastern end. Behind the gallows, three low stairs ascend to a raised area with two overstuffed chairs.
Three people, two male humans and a female human, hang from the gallows. They look conscious, but staggered, and are currently standing on a bench. A fourth human, an unconscious male, lies between the chairs on the dais. Next to the bench stands an armored hobgoblin with a spiked chain.
"So you're the ones who triggered the alarm!" the hobgoblin says. He grins and kicks the bench out from under the feet of those who hang from the gallows. "If you came to rescue these, you'd better be fast."

Branson Davelock

I read the map as Branson can move 20' and be just north of Kavaki, and next to the first of the danglers without taking an AOO? Nonetheless, if an AOO is necessary, nobody said being a Pathfinder was easy!
If Branson thinks he can lift the bench back up and get all three of them standing on it with his standard action, he'll do that. If he doesn't, and he can use a standard action to lift the first of the danglers off of a hook or something, he will.
Also, if he needs to go in harm's way to do the bench thing, he'll do so.
StephNyan
@Kavaki: I'll just assume you took the route that provokes just 1 AoO, because there's really no reason why you'd want to provoke a 2nd AoO while you can't use Redirection anymore today.
Branson moves to a position north of Kavaki, staying out of the enemy's reach. He succeeds in placing the bench back where it was, and the three humans hanging from the gallows are at least temporarily saved.
The enemy tries to stand up up from prone, and provokes an attack from both Alanya and Kavaki.

Branson moves to a position north of Kavaki, staying out of the enemy's reach. He succeeds in placing the bench back where it was, and the three humans hanging from the gallows are at least temporarily saved.
Can I get a "Praise Korada?"
StephNyan
@Chyras/Alanya: 1 AoO, not 2. Attacking with both claws is a full-round action.
The power attack's fine, because you can activate it when you make an attack roll. Besides, the effect of Power Attack lasts for a turn. So because Alanya made her attacks with Power Attack during her turn, she has to use it again now.
@Branson: Praise Korada! :D
Alanya's claw inflicts a nasty wound on the hobgoblin, but Kavaki misses. The hobgoblin succeeds in getting back on his feet, and swings his chain at Kavaki.

Kavaki drinks the potion he grabbed prior to engaging Hagla (potion of true strike). Provokes AoO due to drinking potion with move action. Then attempts a "reposition" combat maneuver. This provokes a 2nd AoO (not improved reposition) if Hagla is able to take 2 AoO's
You can attempt to reposition a foe to a different location as a standard action. You can only reposition an opponent that is no more than one size category larger than you. A reposition attempts to force a foe to move to a different position in relation to your location without doing any harm. If you do not have the Improved Reposition feat or a similar ability, attempting to reposition a foe provokes an attack of opportunity from the target of your maneuver. You cannot use this maneuver to move a foe into a space that is intrinsically dangerous, such as a pit or wall of fire.
If your attack is successful, you may move your target 5 feet to a new location. For every 5 by which your attack exceeds your opponent's CMD, you can move the target an additional 5 feet. The target must remain within your reach at all times during this movement, except for the final 5 feet of movement, which can be to a space adjacent to your reach.
An enemy being moved by a reposition does not provoke an attack of opportunity because of the movement unless you possess the Greater Reposition feat. You cannot move a creature into a square that is occupied by a solid object or obstacle.
reposition: 1d20 + 5 + 20 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 20 = 30
moving Hagla left 1 square, just above Alanya, Kavaki makes a demand of Hagla, "Get away from those people!"
Hopefully this gives Branson and anyone else who wants to get by Hagla, more room to help the people in the gallows.
StephNyan
@Kavaki: On Redirection: "A flowing monk can use this ability once per day per monk level, but no more than once per round."
You used Redirection once here, and once here. You're level 2, meaning you have no more uses of Redirection left. So you can't use the Reposition combat maneuver as a reaction to the AoO you provoke.
Will vs Daze (DC 14): 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (1) + 0 = 1
Chyras successfully dazes the hobgoblin, but Alanya is unable to penetrate the enemy's armor.
Branson successfully unties one of the people hanging from the gallow. (Full-round, yes.) He then tries to move south, but can't: that's where Kavaki is standing.
Kavaki drinks his potion, which would normally provoke an attack from the enemy. However, the enemy is dazed by Chyras his spell and can't take any actions.
The hobgoblin stands dazed, unable to attack anyone.

@Kavaki: I see. I thought you were reacting on the AoO you provoked, like you did before, but I was mistaken.
Kavaki manages to reposition the enemy to the square just north of Alanya. He'd normally have gotten two attacks from the enemy, but Chyras his spell prevents the enemy from taking any actions.

Branson frees another person from the gallows while Kyra moves up next to him. Kyra casts shield of faith on Kavaki.
Chyras and Alanya attack the hobgoblin, but both miss their attacks.
