Zhoron checking in. Now where are these other hopefuls I'll have to cover for?
I just realized, that was pretty cocky for a lvl 1 character. Hope I'm not writing checks I won't be able to cash... already.

Don't worry, Zhoron; we should be able to take care of you ;-)

If everyone could put some quick references in their profile under class/level so that it will show up under your name that would be nice,
hp: (current/max) AC (normal/touch/flatfooted) saves (ref/will/fort) initiative modifier, perception and sense motive.
(See how Shoris did it if you want an example)
Looks like this will just be a 4 person table....you have a fairly balanced party. Fighter, Bard, Barbarian, Conjurer. So should be doable
We'll move forward when everyone has checked into the gameplay tab

Some general info:
I'll roll initative for everyone, if you're all going to roll it yourself it's going to take a day to get that sorted...which is a bit of a waste of time.
We'll be using block initiative. If your up at the same time as another player and before a monster, no need to wait for the other player to post, just post when you have time and if you want to wait for the other player to have taking his action - like when you want flanking or someone needs to move out of the way before you'll take your action write in that your readying or delaying (please choose which) until condition X happens.
I like to keep the flow of the game going, so expect your turn to be put on delay (or skipped) or NPC-ed in if you haven't posted in over a day. If you don't know what to do...it's still nice for other people to know that there's someone else around, so even if it's only a post as I watch X while he does Y, please just post something
This module is pretty roleplay light and combat focused, but relative easy..so nice for newer players.
If you have any questions feel free to ask, and have fun ;)

Reevy,
1st of all, thank you for being so attentive to feats, bonuses, conditions, ect. Your doing an impressive job as GM.
I have a question about:
"To confirm: 1d20 + 3 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 1 - 4 = 14 Going by your profile you have point blank and precise shot, so just taking the penalty for cover"
Where is the penalty for cover coming from? Is this because there is another party member in between me and the enemy? I would appreciate the clarification, if you get the chance.
As this is my 1st pbp, I hope this thread is where I should be posting stuff like this.
Thank you

Yes, you will take a penalty for shooting through anyone (or anything) in between you and your target. In this case your party member - Olafsson.
There's a few ways to avoid that, but it didn't seem like you had any of those.
And just so you know, I'm fine with your rolling your own conformation roll for a crit. I only did it now to speed things up. Once you post (or preview) you can see the result, and if you happen to see that you rolled a 20 hit the edit button and add in another attack (and damage) roll.
And yes, this is the place to ask questions and discus thing. Out of character things anyway.

No problem, taking this into account going forward, but
If it's no trouble, I would really appreciate if someone could direct me to somewhere in the books that addresses the penalty.
This is the closest I could find in the core rulebook under the combat
chapter.
"Cover
To determine whether your target has cover from your ranged attack, choose a corner of your square. If any line from this corner to any corner of the target's square passes through a square or border that blocks line of effect or provides cover, or through a square occupied by a creature, the target has cover (+4 to AC)."
I thought this was the purpose of the precise shot feat. To eliminate this penalty. Please tell me how I'm mis-interpreting this, so when I decide to GM, I can explain it.
Thank you.

Firing into combat attracts a -4 penalty to hit, which is what Precise Shot offsets.
If someone is providing cover, there is a *separate* -4 penalty to hit, which is what Improved Precise Shot offsets automatically. It can, however, be mitigated by moving to a position where there is no direct line through cover.
Does that make sense?

Personally I find anything under a 13 to be kinda low ;) I miss my days of table top rolling, and being about to count on something like a 80% chance of 15+ from my sharps..
So far I've found no love with any online dice rollers! See if I ever gift them with silver crayon fill, and love. :)

Thanks Revvy,
Took a few double takes, so:
Shooting into melee is it's own penalty (separate from cover), and it's -4 is cancelled by precise shot as noted on pg 184
and
Cover is a separate penalty (that stacks with shooting into melee) provided by shot through a square occupied by ANY creature, including allys: resulting in a different -4 penalty (bonuses from different sources stack). while this doesn't specifically say improved precise shot prevents this on pg 195, the description of the feat improved precise shot specifically says "your shots ignore anything but total concealment and cover".
I should learn to ignore my bouts with O.C.D.!
lol

rough combat on this one.
thank you, revvy... this is a fun experience for my 1st pbp.
If you are going to be GM'ing any other 1st lvl repeatable scenarios, pease let me know, I have created other characters I would like to play also.

Nice to hear your're having fun ;)
I'm thinking about it..but at the moment I'm running like 8 tables (I got a bit carried away) and I'm starting to see that I'm starting miss little things in posts, so I don't want to add anything to that right now. But as soon as some of those finish I will replace them with something else.

It's in Inner Sea World Guide
conjuration (healing) [evil]; Level cleric 1, magus 1, sorcerer/wizard 1, summoner 1, witch 1.
You anoint a wounded creature with devil’s blood or unholy water, giving it fast healing 1. This ability cannot repair damage caused by silver weapons, good-aligned weapons, or spells or effects with the good descriptor. The target detects as an evil creature for the duration of the spell and can sense the evil of the magic, though this has no long-term effect on the target’s alignment.

Ya, I'm trying to make sure I stay speedy with combat, just missing some of the fun banter, and dialog time.
Anyways almost finished?!? That would be a change from my PbP experience. I'd love to continue along this character if your going to be running any other games Rev. Its been a blast, I'm learning a lot of pathfinder mechanics, and game seems to move along quickly.

I assume that would be 134106-1? Just checking
I'm thinking about running something after this..both this and one other adventure I'm running should finish somewhere in the next few days...just need to decide what I want to run. I'm thinking The Conformation, seems like a nice follow-up after this. Not sure if anyone here has played that one already with this character, we can continue with it if we have enough people who want to join.
