Hey, Faeria: if you really want to play a character who is too explicitly crazy to actually make in-character suggestions on tactics to other PCs, I'd suggest that PFS is not really the place to do that.

Your decision of how to roleplay Faeria is basically in-game forcing people to choose whether or not to roleplay their characters the way they see them, or to metagame into making non-IC decisions for the sake of not getting their characters killed. This situation is a perfect example of what I mean:

Bagheera is unconscious and currently dying. The obvious IC response Roshan should have is to get in there and stabilize/heal her close furry friend. I'm now faced with a choice of whether to do what my character should and would do based on the IC situation, or to use the OOC knowledge you expressed, that you're about to throw something Will-save affecting that stands a good chance of dropping anyone (especially at this level where our will saves are all fairly low regardless of class).

In order to play smart and not get my ass dropped by a probable color spray, I have to explicitly go against my own roleplay and use the OOC knowledge you've expressed, because your character is too crazy to actually warn allies in any sort of in-character sense.

That means that by definition, your character is too crazy to actually be "cooperating" per PFS mandates.

I'd put forth to you that that character concept is therefore too extreme for PFS play and you might want to consider whether or not the amusement value you're getting from how you're choosing to play your character is worth the tactical headaches. Roleplaying a concept is all well and good up until the point where it makes other people have to intentionally not roleplay their own character for the sake of not, you know, dying/losing.

Scarab Sages

Female Human (Varisian) Illusionist 4 | hp 30 | AC 13 T 13 FF 10 | CMD 15 | F +4 R +4 W +5 | Spd 30' | Init +2 | KnAll (sans Eng, Nob) +9, Perc +0, Scrft +10, SensM +0 | blinding ray 7/7 | arcane bond 1/1 | ♬ Wish list ♬

Sorry. I didn't mean to keep people from posting. I know we are probably in block initiative but didn't want to bulldoze my way in and post ahead of those with actual initiative and position.

Faeria believes in Roshan as well (though she did have her doubts back at the pier).

Grand Lodge

NG F Gnome Druid 1 - HP 11/11 | AC:17/T:16/FF:12 CMD: 10 | F+4 R+1 W+5 (+2 vs illusions) | Init +1 Per +9
Bagheera's mini-stats:
Medium Cat - HP: 11/11 | AC:17/T:13/FF:14 CMD:15 | F+4 R+6 W+2 | Per +2

I don't think it's an issue of block initiative so much as it's still an issue of you've expressed OOCly a tactical plan that none of us have any IC way of knowing about, because your character won't communicate it ICly.

Liberty's Edge

12/12 HP, AC: 17, T: 14, FF: 13, CMD: 18, F: +3, R: +0, W: 1, Init +6, Pereption +1, CN Male Human 1 Fighter (Core), Longbow +6 (1d8+1, x3)

I agree. I like your crazy character. You have played it well and you don't see to many of them. I would say keep it crazy but just sane enough to not get party killed or lose a prestige point.

Current Map

Having trouble reporting the session. It is telling me that if I report the session it will change all our characters from CORE to Standard PFS.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Current Map

Well it looks like I reported my Live game of First Steps: Part I, In service to Lore as a CORE Game and not a Standard so when I try to report this games as CORE it will not let me.

Who do I need to contact to get this fixed? Sorry new to this PFS reporting.

Jesse Davis might be able to help you, not sure. He's the VL for online play.

Current Map

I have added the Chronicle to the top of the Thread.

Current Map

Has everyone gotten their Chronicle? If so I will make the Campaign inactive tomorrow. Let me know if you have any issues with the Chronicle or the Game Reporting and I will try to get it fixed ASAP.
