With Bait in the other corridor, there's finally room for Miyako to do what she's been wanting to do. She drops the wand of protection from evil and points her index finger at the northwestern corner of the room north of her. A small orange bead is launched from her finger and hits the corner, where it explodes into a massive fireball.

Once the fireball's gone, Miyako flies into the northern room while trying to avoid an attack from the spectral creature she's passing overhead.

You have to make a Fly DC 10 check to move less than half speed and remain flying, but my Fly modifier is +10. So that's an auto-succeed.
Miyako's eyes start emitting an orange light and both the air surrounding her and her own form begin to blur. The blurring increases as the air in a 10-foot radius surrounding Miyako heats up drastically, inflicting fire damage to the spectral creatures inside the room.

With her constitution suddenly down the gutter, and feeling very weak and feeble for it, Miyako figures getting the heck away from the creature is the best course of action. She can however not resist the urge to quickly attack the creature once more before flying to safety.

While the terror is over for now, some of you know that vampires don't stay down for long so you track down the gaseous form and stake the vampire before she can return to life. However, she has still not been put to rest properly and you feel as though you should do so. I need a knowledge(Local) or knowledge(Religion) check please.

I went back and read the beginning of all this.... we need to return the katana, an bring her back to the Knights of Ozem for proper burial.

You know that Shizuran tradition is to cremate the body on a pyre under the midday sun, then distribute the ashes to the deceased’s descendants. Similarly, Lastwall’s tradition is to cremate the entire body save the skull, which is etched with the name and dates of birth and death then placed in The Ossuaries of the Fallen in Vigil.

You can tell he's not eager to work with corpses... his fear of germs getting the better of him. Though he supports burning the body and returning ashes, over bringing back an entire corpse!

Miyako fully heals her constitution damage with a couple of lesser restoration spells.

She inspects the sword and shares, "The sword's broken, but holy."
Miyako grabs the sword and puts it in her bag, so it can be presented to the Knights of Ozem later. Her carrying capacity still tripled by ant haul, Miyako has no problem carrying the staked body of the vampire outside. Once outside Miyako puts the body on the ground and starts collecting wood for a funeral pyre.
"I suggest cutting the head off before putting the rest on the pyre. We can scorch the flesh off the skull in a separate process, removing it from the skull with controlled fire. I expect that to be less messy than removing the tissue in other ways. We can turn up the heat on the pyre enough to fully cremate the rest."

It was con DRAIN... aka, permanent.
Meaning only a full restoration will fix it.
I expect Sickly will be spending 2 PP at the end of this to fix it =)
Though I suppose it only costs 380 gp... to do it via spellcasting services
