Amelia catches something in Sey'lok's statement that draws her curiosity. "By the way, Sey'lok, you seemed surprised that Golarions can use color magic. But you're also a Golarion. So if you didn't use such magics to, how did you manage to get here?"

"Oh yes please do so young one, I would like a laugh!" Sey'lok jibes at Alþórel.

"Yes I am surprised that some such as you can utilise the colours. I just borrowed their power." Alþórel sees Sey'lok reach for something then chucks it towards you. What lands on the staircase is a beating heart of .. well.. what you presume to be an Eldred. "Funny how necromancy can even help things live past their time.. no?"

Inactive

Okay Al, you totally have my permission to fry him after that one.

Stunned by what she seems to be seeing, Amelia goes over and picks up the Eldred heart that Sey'lok so casually discarded, feeling its beat in her hands. The understanding of what she's holding is shocking and horrifying, only beginning to sink in. "You . . . you monster!"

Perception (again): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27

Amelia tries to tell where Sey'lok is by backtracking to the spot where the heart seemed to come from. If she can get a handle on his location, she's going to quick-draw and start ricocheting her starknives around to get Sey'lok.

"Now, now, my dear." Al explains, as he turns so his back is to the monster and face towards Amelia. "You have to understand..." as he speaks his fingers weave an intricate pattern, and a moment later a bead of light forms between them. Spinning around he casts the ball of light into a corner of the tower.

Light blooms. Light, and heat.

Boom!

Explosive start! I'll update in the morning as I was out later than expected.

@Al: Well you aren't reducing the damage since you are still taking it just from temps. So yea that combination should work.

reflex: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13

Sey'lok is visibly startled by the blast and something falters. The three under the stairs suddenly feel it give way. Sey'lok must've been the one concentrating to keep the stairs up. The stairs collapse and the group fall to the ground.

Laughter ensues as Sey'lok runs across the wall behind the pillar towards the south as far as Al can see while falling to the ground. Nethan casts tough sight.

Elise lands with an angry snarl - was it too much to expect of Tar-Baphon's minions that they could build sturdy stairs? Clearly. But no time to dwell on that; they had one wicked critter to slay. Large circle in the middle is the pillar.

Alþórel and Elise charge round towards where Sey'lok is then a glitterdust illuminates the creature.

Nethan moves round the pillar and can see the creature with his touch sight though it is now a decently sized beacon of purple. He readies his sword for the incoming fight.

Sey'lok is in full view on the ground with large horns, his hands now glow a darker shade of purple. Presumably, that glow was hidden before but the dust shows it in a new light.

So just Dreyyn and Amelia, sorry was not thinking that you would like to at least see the token with glitterdust being cast. It's on there now!

Any chance that purple glow has something to do with purple magic?

"Let's do this." Amelia plays her own invisibility game with Sey'lok, vanishing from view. She advances toward the enemy and Alporel suddenly seems shielded by his own Purple glow of magic, a counterpoint to Sey'lok's own purple glow. A feeling of calm and tranquility envelops everyone around Amelia, healing everyone who fell off the bone stairs and ensuring they are ready for what's to come.

Only one target may be Galvanized at a time.

Okay, so shenanigans: Amelia redirects 6 points of damage from the first hit to Elise, and then, using a spell point, redirects half of the second attack to herself (12 points of damage). The spell point triggers Breath of Tranquility, and Elise and Amelia heal 10 points of damage.

She felt ten feet tall, with the strength to match. Now it was only a matter of sharing that might with her enemy; at the edge of her axe!

She struck a first resounding blow as they made contact. Then, with surprising swiftness, did she circle Sey and delivered another strike - this one aimed directly at his neck. Feeling her own blood boil she released some of her pent up anger into a great breath, capping off her onslaught with a torrent of dragonfire.

ROUND 3

Nethan sighs at not knowing the exact dragon type that Sey'lok morphed into, "Well, let's try what worked last time? If not, change tactics." ... he shrugs ... then repeats his last move "NIL'GNOS ARCANISS!"

Mythic Magic Missile Force Damage: 6d4 + 3 ⇒ (2, 3, 4, 1, 3, 1) + 3 = 17

(-1 Mythic Point, remember Nethan receives (2) rolls for overcoming SR if he has to due to Arcane Surge.)

Elise grinds her teeth at the sudden chill, but it doesn't take long before her fury has burned away the sensation of freezing. "Is *that* the best you have?!" Elise taunts and swings her axe at the now draconic foe - but her showing isn't exactly stellar either!

i thought we were still on round 3?

We are indeed still on round 3. I don't see anyone having posted a round 4 action yet. Though I did mistakenly put round 2 in my last post. Round 3 go! I'll also assume Dreyyn goes first since the debuff will help quite a few rolls.

Round 3

Dreyyn moves up and blasts the newly formed dragon with sand. Slowing it down and burrowing into its scales.

reflex: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 vs DC 17

Next 6 rounds it counts as flanked.

Due to this sand surrounding the Dragon Elise is able to move in and strike with her first blow. Though her second clatters against the wall. Three of the stars that Amelia has thrown manage to find a chink in the scales while the another bounces off harmlessly. Then a barrage of magic missiles follow suit, also damaging the creature.

Alþórel meanwhile casts another spell broading his mind, the searches through the reaches of his knowledge to get the info he needs.

Though the dragon is different to ones on Golarion, Alþórel can at least have a good idea on what will work or not on the creature. It is immune to acid and sonic. It is resistant to electricity though has no weaknesses when it comes to energy. It's think skin also allows some modicum of damage reduction against weaponry damage. However the creature is Chaotic Evil and undead, spells that would affect those types would resonant the strongest.

Other useful info: Its claws appear shapped perfectly to grab onto objects be they the walls or creatures. Alþórel can guess it would not be hindered carrying something unless it is bigger than itself.

There is a small aura that is leeching positive energy within the creature. The connection is emanating out towards its claws and teeth. Likely it has the capability of draining energy from those it damages.

The dragon takes focus on Elise and brings down both it claws to bear and its teeth. Then it raises a barbed tail into the air poised to strike.

attack (bite): 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (12) + 16 = 28
attack (Claw): 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (9) + 16 = 25
attack (Claw): 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21

damage(bite): 2d10 + 12 ⇒ (6, 9) + 12 = 27
damage(claw): 3d6 + 8 ⇒ (6, 3, 2) + 8 = 19

An clattering crunch rings out as Elise attempts to block then she gets slashed in her back for the trouble. She pushes back the creature before its able to grab her with the other claw and it makes a large furrow in the ground.

The sand continues to burrow into it.

Surprised that she managed to strike the creature, Amelia takes another step back and continues the assault.

After perhaps landing a couple of attaks, she remains ready to teleport away if she's attacked. And if the BBEG rolls a crit she will replace it with a 6 with the Deck of Fate.

Regardless of Elise's raging state, she does not look good, so Nethan takes out the Wand of Valor with one hand and points it at Elise, pumps a Mythic Point into the wand, and issues the Command Word, "HEAL THE VALOROUS!"...

Round 4

@Dreyyn: I've added on maximized SA dice for you as per the M6 rules.

Another onslaught of blades and spells. A claw and a bit coming from Elise. I divebomb attack coming from Dreyyn landing a lot better against this bigger target and Dreyyn lands on the other side of the creature near the wall. Two more of the starknives bury into the creature.

Missing Al for end of round.

"Don't let it grab you! It's Undead, a force of Chaos and Evil." Alþórel yelled, then ordered "Use Fire and Cold!" - only to see an onslaught of weaponry tear into the creature "Or that" he agreed.
foresight: 1d20 ⇒ 2
Al drew on the last of his reserves. Time slowed, then slowed even more. Drifting dust froze. A single bead of sweat flung from Alþórel's head floated silently through the air.
Alþórelis behind Amerlia. Spending 2 MP to cast MYTHIC HASTE. Sorry Nethan, you're out of range. Normal Haste effects (for 8 rounds) AND everyone gets an extra move action... which means if you use Mythic Initiative you should be able to upgrade it to get two full round actions, or double your normal number of attacks. +50ft move, instead of +30ft.

Round 4 Cont.

The creature reels in pain before leaping far into the air in a flash. Leaving behind several orbs of magic around the floor the group is standing on. You can seem him reappear standing at the top of the column where the staircase was leading up to staring down at the group awaiting something. He currently has soft cover up where he is if you are shooting him.

spellcraft: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31
spellcraft: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 33

Between the pair of mages they realise these orbs are balls of negative energy primed to explode. With the amount of energy that can be released the mages gather that they will extend out around 15ft catching anyone living in them.

Round 4 over, onto you guys

Not sure how high he is which can make a big difference to Amelia's attacks, but she will just do something that's not an attack.

Suddenly moving much faster thanks to Al, Amelia scurries between Dreyyn and Elise and Galvanizes Dreyyn.
Dreyyn effectively has DR 10 for 3 rounds.

Amelia, Elise and Dreyyn feel peace and assurance wash over them, as their wounds begin to heal.
Amelia, Elise and Dreyyn heal 10 HP.

She then quickly dashes back to almost where she was standing. Using the second move action to end up not within the blast radius of whatever these orbs are.

Round 5

The draconic energies that had fuelled her for the last handful seconds of onslaught started to fade away leaving Elise in her much more normal, but still angry, shape. But instead of the raw power she felt the invigorating magic of Al and Nethan - more then enough to continue the fight with! Now, if only the enemy would feel the same ...

"Coward! Come down and fight!" Elise threw her head back and yelled at their foe. But once it became apparent that he wasn't interested in that just yet, she snarled in disappointment and backed off towards the twins - just to be sure.

Titan's Rage lasts for tier rounds - 3 in Elise case - and that means it has run its course now.
