Zac, I'm pretty sure that you still receive a flank bonus since I'm wielding a ranged weapon.
You only get flanking when you threaten from opposite sides. Ranged weapons specifically do not "threaten" for the purposes of providing a flank bonus. Just FYI... :)

Sun shoots with his sling, but it's not effective enough. Also Aldenharn is not able to connect. Aramil steps back and distracts the skeleton so Zac can hit the skeleton so hard that it burst into bone splinters.

Poog and Luna are brave and attack the mighty bronze legionnaire in front of them, but both attacks are deflected by the bronze half-plate. zombie has AC20 :O

Frustrated at the lack of effect he has had on this sudden battle, Pooka growls a pint sized growl, and Luna responds with a much more sinister sounding version.
He drops the sling, and grabs the halberd off of his back as he slides behind the monster, hoping he can use its focus on Aramil to his advantage...

Well done Aramil! Pooka yells as the rogue finally brings the vermin down. Turning to the rest of the group, We made that harder than it needed to be didn't we? Everyone ok?
Pooka takes a look around at his companions to make sure everyone is still able to move on, and takes a look around the room, to make sure they didn't miss anything.

If this is what awaits us throughout this building, we should get into that room where the curator reportedly is, and make sure he is still ok. Keep your weapons handy though, who knows what we might find. If he is more animal than man, perhaps this is your moment to shine, Sun.
Pooka picks up his lance, and returns the other weapons to their proper locations on his body and mount. Gear and weapons gathered and situated, he moves to enter the room marked on the map where the curator is supposedly holed up.

Still, he recognizes he is wounded, and presses a wand into Sun's hand and nods.

Within the room, several desks lie overturned, papers in disarray, and chairs smashed to kindling. A sturdy steel cabinet sits against the back wall, its doors much battered and dented. The mist here roils near the floor and ceiling, creating a strange patch of visibility stretching from knee-height to a few feet overhead. The smoky tendrils flow up and down the walls unnaturally and savage visages swirl to life, fanged mouths agape, before dissolving into mist once more.

With a smirk on his face as he starts into the room, Pooka looks back to Zac, Don't worry, I'll protect you from the boogie-man... the Halfling chuckles.
Pooka hesitates for a moment, checking on Luna to make sure she is ok before spurring her forward cautiously into the room. He peers intently into the mist, unsure if there is anything hiding beneath the surface.

Zac will take a double move, though he is moving past a threatening square, it sets someone up for flanking later. But I can always use acrobatics to bypass it, since dex is +2 from the spell I'm on, I'm at 19 dex instead of 17. and I have armor penalty of 4, so 0 is the total for mod.

You can always do an acrobatics check, but in your case it's an AoO for Yannis (CMD 16).
Yannis tries to hit Zac while he's moving between him and the wall, but Zac is too fast.

Both creatures change back to a more human shape after they are knocked out. Suddenly you hear a man screaming and shrieking in the cabinet.
