Anyone interested? I have legacy of fire and might be able to get another (let me know what you are interested in and I will let you now if I have access), or if someone wants to provide one I will run that.
Looking for 2 players who can post a lot to run through an AP.
Build rules
20 pt build
Start at level 2
2 traits (1 from whatever campaign we do)
No evil
Starting gold 1000 plus 1 MW item and 1 +1 item
All paizo. No 3pp
Looking for folks who can rp together, looking for a good story. Obviously the details will have to wait until the campaign is selected

Jlighter is in, there is room for one more still
This will be Second Darkness so make sure that you have one trait from that AP.
Desmond you are not out of the running, I just don't like cheese is all.
Anyone applying make sure that you keep in mind that lighter is making a druid with a giant chameleon companion, perhaps do some kind of connection between both for your stories
Anežka Tzvana
I'd like to submit Anežka for consideration!
She is a human conjurer with a focus on summoning. Both in and out of combat she is very versatile, and she'd just need a few adjustments in her background (the second part obviously, after escaping Korvosa) to fit in any AP.
If needed, I'd be more than willing to adapt both her build and her background to tie her in with the other character.
EDIT - just read the post above. Second Darkness it is! And a druid would be perfect for my wizard (arcane + divine = most basis covered!).
Keeping this in mind, I'll readapt Anežka and post something in a little bit. ;)

k desmond create a backstory, and make sure you have 1 second darkness trait and one other…same for anezka.
you can wait on spending your gold and your bonus items.
also crafting will be allowed, but as always with me I reserve the right to say no if i think we are getting cheesy
leadership likewise will be allowed.

I updated his alias with the 'looking for work' trait. His background is under the 'Background' spoiler on his alias. Were you looking for more detail?
Anežka Tzvana
anezka, groovy, I will look forward to seeing what you put up
And yes I have decided on Second Darkness
Sure thing! I've skimmed through the Second Darkness Player's Guide, and I'd say "Looking for Work (Diplomacy)" would be perfect for Anežka, giving her a stronger out-of-combat presence.
And of course as mentioned before I'm more than willing to work with jlighter to tie Anežka's story with his druid's background.

It looks like you have your two. If you wouldn't mind a third, I'm relatively new to PBP, but I tend to post at least once to twice a day at least. I can and am willing to post more if the game warrants it.
I would like to propose a Cleric of Cayden Cailean. I'm a big fan of support types, in general, and clerics in particular. I'm thinking either human or half-elf. Will probably coin flip that. I am interested in the Optimistic Gambler trait.
I can build the character in about a couple hours or so. But I kind of need to know if I should even bother. Don't much like the idea of building something and then not being able to use it.
Am also willing to include others into backstory.

I am looking for two players that can post 2+ times per day AND will interact with each other, not just with me.
Obviously I know posting slows with the holidays and I know that I myself have a conference that I will be attending for a week in January and posting will drop off then as well but in general as along as people are communicating I have no problem with that.

Anežka Tzvana
Adapted the background. It's quite long, so I put it in a spoiler.
From the earliest age, Anežka showed a propension and understanding of magical matters rarely found in one so young, and when the clan's fortuneteller, Old Madame Anca, took notice, asked her parents to send the girl to her for tutoring, everyone was confident she had found her call in life.
Soon however, Old Anca came to understand that while the girl's talent and rapid progress in learning the Art was undeniable, Anežka's power came not from within, as was the case for the old fortuneteller, but was the result of the young child's impressive mind unlocking magic's secrets one after another.
She needed books, and scrolls, and tomes of knowledge, not the words of an old sorceress about how to 'harness the power in her blood'. Most of all, she'd be in need of a competent teacher, someone who mastered the Art with his mind, not his spirit.
Those were not things she could provide, nor could anyone else in her clan... No, but there were places where she could find the help she needed to learn and grow, places where others likewise inclined went for the same purpose. Old Anca knew of but one, and that had to suffice.
After speaking to the girl's parents, and Anežka herself, they traveled to Korvosa, where Anežka took the admittance test for the prestigious Acadamae, and passed with flying colors.
Unfortunately, tuition for such a prestigious college is expensive indeed, and what little money her parents managed to give Anežka before enrolment wasn't going to last long. Desperate to find a way to come up with the gold, and determined not to further burden her family, she made a mistake she would regret for years to come.
A dangerous man, mockingly called 'The Baron' by rivals and underlings alike, leader of a small but vicious thieves gang, was known to be willing to loan gold to those in need... Just so he could extort from them many times as much when the time was right. Those who could pay would be left alone, those who couldn't, invariably 'disappeared' soon after... When young Anežka come to him asking for a loan, promising she'd give back to him double the money after her graduation, the cunning Baron saw an opportunity hard to pass by.
The young girl was talented, he could tell as much, and she'd surely become a prominent mage. He could easily loan this naive girl the gold, and set a final payment so high she'd be in his pocket for many, many years, becoming a powerful pawn in his schemes to expand his influence in the city. He agreed to the girl's terms, biding his time to return and collect his due.
For almost ten years Anežka attended the Acadamae. The place was harsh and unforgiving, the professors uncaring and the other students, generally older and scions of prestigious families, tended to avoid or even sometimes bully the young girl without a drop of 'noble blood' in her veins. For her part, Anežka didn't care in the least, so focused she was on her studies and researches.
She would however, from time to time sneak out of the school and go to the city docks, to play with the street urchins hanging out on the piers, observe the grand naval vessels entering or leaving the city, and admire the mysterious vastness of the sea.
When her graduation day finally came, Anežka was elated. Not a girl anymore, but a young woman, proud and confident in her abilities and impatient to see the world outside of the city that had been her whole world for the previous ten years.
That's when the Baron showed up, reminding her of her debt; he spoke of hidden clauses in the contract they stipulated that many years ago, and piled up interests, and scaling rates and more. The sum Anežka owed went from hefty to astounding, impossible to repay if not with many years of servitude.
She tried to reason with him, then to plead, then threaten, but in vain, as the Baron's only interest was to get the girl to serve him. He thought he had the girl in his hands, for the girl had all her friends, connections and even family nearby, and she had no hope to hide anywhere in Varisia without his network of thugs and spies letting him know... But he underestimated Anežka's spirit, for she valued her freedom above all else, and if the price she had to pay to retain that freedom was to make a mortal enemy, leave behind friends and family and flee the city, and even the very country, that had been her home for her whole life, so be it.
Not two nights after her graduation ceremony, unbeknownst to everyone, Anežka was swiftly sailing away from Korvosa, stowaway on a mercantile ship headed west, towards the Varisian Gulf.
A combination of skill and blind luck allowed Anežka to remain hidden inside the ship's hold for the entire trip, and when the vessel finally docked, she slipped away during the unloading operations, unnoticed.
Now free for the first time in many years, Anežka was euphoric, but she quickly came to realize what little money she had wouldn't have lasted long. It was then that the gambling tournament “Cheat the Devil and Take His Gold", held at the recently reopened Gold Goblin Gambling Hall, caught her eye.
Running in the tournament itself would prove too risky, but surely with such a huge event on his hands the owner of the "Goblin" would need quite a few new staff members? All she needed to do was attend the event, show her skills and talents, make a good impression and then ask for a job!
Her mind set and with renewed hope for her future, Anežka spent one of her last gold pieces and secured a spot in the upcoming tournament.
The profile still needs updating, but if chosen I can do it very quickly.
@MiniGM - If somethings seems wrong, or needs to be changed for some reason, etc... Just tell me! Otherwise I'll wait for your decision. :)
Desmond Areos
yes, something that ties him to Korvosa, why is he there? etc
currently you just have the basic story of his creation, as it were.
It does not matter overmuch, but it gives me an idea of your style of RP and creativity.
Edit riddle port not korvosa
Fair enough. In brief, he'd be traveling to Riddleport in order to investigate his heritage. I'll write it up and add it to his existing backstory.
Feel free to check some of my other alias' if your curious about my gameplay style.

This is my character Meriwen, an alchemist. She is a wood elf from the Mielani Forest in norther Varissia. The daughter of a drow hunter and a military engineer, she serves as a scout for the city of Crying Leaf.
A brief history, two character pictures and her complete character sheet can be found here.
If I remember correctly, we were given 1000 gold, 1 mw weapon and 1 +1 weapon. I cashed in the mw weapon for 300 gold to take a non-magical mithril chain shirt and a mw alchemy kit (200 gold). If this is a problem, I can make her crossbow masterwork and get rid of the armor.
I've posted an idea I'd like to do with her race in the character packet, so please check that out if you can.
Thank you for your consideration.

Ok, here's my idea.
Khaldin was born to a noblewoman from Korvosa, the result of a tryst with an elf bard, and was consequently given up at birth quietly. But Khaldin is completely unaware of this fact. Nor would it much matter to him. The life of idle nobility would never have suited him, anyway. Not enough excitement.
But he did have the good fortune to have been raised in an orphanage run by priests of Cayden Cailean. And really he could not have been happier. Those boys and girls really knew how to have a good time. And they never gave him much guff when he got into trouble so long as he meant well. And he usually did.
And then one day he found he could call on the Drunken Hero for divine spells. And it was timely, considering he and his friends were about to be mauled to death by an owlbear of all things. Honestly, that Wizard was far too uptight for his own good. It wasn’t as if they were taking anything he was going to miss. Just a few coins. It was going to a good cause, after all. The Orphanage roof wasn’t going to rebuild itself, you know!
Anyway, long story short -- Owlbear, roar, “Ow, I’m bleeding!” Very droll. No need to bore you with the details. Still, it was a good thing his powers kicked in then. Especially considering how Maggie later thanked him, over and over -- wait, where was I?
Ah, yes, adventuring! I was getting to that. But really, you have to start with the childhood, or these things just don’t feel properly fleshed out. But regardless, I think we can safely skip a few years, since not much of note occurred.
Although, it is probably worth mentioning that the Korvosa Alchemist Guild will never do business with him again. Primadonnas! Honestly, how was he supposed to know the woman was married to a one of the high muckety-muck guild members? It wasn’t as if she was wearing her ring. And perhaps if a certain alchemist was capable of keeping his own stopper in the right vial, she wouldn’t have come crying to him in the first place!
I’m getting off track again, aren’t I? Yes. Sorry. But really, the injustice of the world can is just staggering. Why just the other day -- Did it again. Moving on!
Skipping over, skipping over -- nothing to see here. There was a thing involving a necromancer -- But it doesn’t bear repeating. Tragic story. Makes your eyes water up like a river. You see, he lost someone he cared very dearly for -- Er, right, Not mentioning.
Skipping over…
Ah, here we go!
Riddleport! Yes! Ah, what can we say about dear, old Riddleport that won’t get us stabbed, drawn, quartered, and if we’re lucky, preferably in that order? Er, perhaps...Yes. Of the three major cities in Varisia, it’s certainly one of them, isn’t it?
Tough town. Tough people, too. Good folk, if you don’t terribly mind being robbed repeatedly. If it makes you feel better, they’re usually rather polite about it. Not like those crooks in Korvosa. Savages all of them.
Khaldin is in town as we speak. And he’s just heard of a chance to make some money at the Golden Goblin. He rather likes money. It helps with the getting of shiny things. Now, admittedly, he’s been on a bit of a bad run of it lately. But, pfft! How long can that last, right? You’ll see, when the dice gets thrown, it’s coming up all Khaldin!

Beastmorph and Vivisectionist, out of curiosity why did you choose those?
So, I've made rogues out of rogues (of course), ninjas (duergar flavored, not asian), magus (spider flavored) and then came || <--- this close to playing this alchemist rogue in WotW before going with my witch necromancer.
While all of the characters I make are RAW, I have never felt the need to keep whatever flavor the picture in the rulebook shows. I've never understood why all mystical assassins (ninja) have to be asians, why all clerics have to look like St. Cuthbert or why all dwarves are supposed to be Bruenor Battlehammer. This attitude seems to have been picked up by Paizo, who are now making archetypes so you can flavor your classes however you like.
The paladin I play in Reign of Winter is a Fey princess.
One of the oracles I play is a fallen angel.
The other is a Cthulhu cultist (with tentacles an all instead of legs).
My druid in Wrath of the Righteous is a crusader hunter.
In Way of the Wicked, my witch is a Zon Kuthon fetish freak.
My goblin gunslinger for Kingmaker is a civil rights activist.
I make characters based on a concept and then pictures I like. 8)
So, as I said in the packet, I made this character a vivisectionist/beastmorph because she's a rogue. My concept was/is an elite elven infiltrator/scout who uses natural magic to combat the drow and their demonic allies. Relying on stealth rather than force, she slips to where she needs to be, fulfills her mission and slips out.
Vivisectionist gives her sneak attacks - like a rogue.
Beastmorph gives her shape change - like a druid.
I'd really like to make her an elf flavored Skinwalker. They are the latest Paizo (not 3rd party) race from Blood of the Moon and are perfect for this character, particularly the Fanglord.
I think it's a cool concept. You have said in this thread that you don't like cheese. I don't like cheese either and I don't build characters to be cheesy. I come up with a cool concept and only then do I begin to build it. However, I build my characters well, and I play them well - both roleplaying and crunch.
This game looks ideal for a rogue character to me because it's going to be a small party where two players can sneak. I am currently looking to play my rogue/alchemist concept and also looking for a Second Darkness game. I figured maybe karma was directing me to this one.
I hope you like the character but if you're uncomfortable with it then I will find another game.
PS: I will drop the mithril chain shirt if chosen, taking a normal one. I'll make her masterwork item the alchemy lab. I will bank the remaining 1000 gold as there isn't anything this character needs right now, not really even the +1 dagger. A mithril chain shirt is 1100 gold so I'll pick one up after a mission or two.
MiniGM
Hmm, let me think on the skin walker, inherently it should not be overpowered due to it only be 10 RP. Though that shape change is pretty boss…interesting. I assume it would not change your build overmuch in any event.
Anežka Tzvana
Yep, still interested!
Just to summarize: background is in my previous post, and if chosen I'll update profile swiftly.
Anežka's specialty is summoning and battlefield control (thanks to that she can be quite eclectic in battle, covering a variety of roles, and with only two characters playing that should come in handy!).
Out of combat, thanks to the Looking for Work (Diplomacy) trait she can be a decent party face, and with her investment in knowledge skills a good knowledge skill monkey. Given a few levels, she'll also provide arcane utility spells.
If chosen I'll gladly work with jlighter to tie characters background together, if you want.
If you have questions let me know, otherwise this should be pretty much it. :)

Thank you Anezka!
While slightly bummed that not too many wanted in, I think those of you that are hear are very creative and will push me, really looking forward to this game
also i forgot to mention that sometimes i find myself doing phone posting and when that happens i often roll my dice off screen, though lately that has been to the benefit of the players much to my chagrin!
i am also happy to come up with creative solutions, if you ever want to do something just tell me what and if there is no rule for it i will make it up.
