"Well you two, glad you enjoyed that 'Eclair' together. It certainly was wonderful, wasn't it?"
"Eclair was amazing, best in world." He glances away somewhat embarrassed by the underlying message, but continues, "Very much hope Miss Suny enjoyed her half of eclair as much. I don't know Elvish so I can't say." He quickly changes the subject, "So - shoppings? I promised to escort beautiful women, and would like to watch them try many more pretty outfits."
"First though, may have private word with Miss Lureene, hey? Take one minute."
Alis Kirmoon
"Well, looks like I lose that bet, Alis. Sorry what was it again, oh yeah, I have to sing 'a capella' tonight for the couple."
"Well singing is right up my alley. Maybe the two of us could put on a performance for everyone tonight with the lucky couple sitting front row center. I've got some new lyrics I've been tossing around on my head..."
Woo Hoo, 1,000 posts of wackiness!
OMG weeeeee!

"Well singing is right up my alley. Maybe the two of us could put on a performance for everyone tonight with the lucky couple sitting front row center. I've got some new lyrics I've been tossing around on my head..."
"That would be wonderful, we'll knock their socks off! We do need to practice, though."
Lureene takes Rath aside to a corner and whispers in his ear,
Rath or DC 15
Suny
Suny happily walks along beside Ravarath. Enjoying the lingering taste of the *Eclair* she runs the word through her mind again, remembering and savoring the amazing taste of the thing. Which her thoughts then follow into the mingling with the person whom she is happily walking beside, arm wrapped around his waist.
Once in the room with Lureene and Alis, Suny grins happily at the pair, then wanders over and flops down on the bed to watch Ravvy interact with Lureene.
Alis may notice that Sunys' brown legs are again bare as the other tanned Elf deftly tucks her legs underneath herself.
(^_^) Told ye I dun't like them shoes :P
Ravarath
Rath comes out of the bathroom, sits down next to where Suny has flopped down on the bed. He places a hand gently on her lower back and, after a moment, begins to absently rub her, systematically massaging the muscle groups along her spine with his strong, sure hands. Suny realises, as a monk, he has to be familiar with anatomy to strike effectively with his hands. Strange that those things which can deliver pain can be used for pleasure as well.
"So, ladies... where are we going to have you try on new dresses?"
Suny
Even as she is settling and snuggling closer to Ravarath under his subtle ministrations, at the mention of the words 'New Dress' Suny bounces up and skips over to Lureene and Alis,
"Aye, an' mayhap ye c'n es'plain whut shoppin' actually is?" She asks still puzzled by this new word, as she tries again to get Alis or Lureene to answer the question she's asked them before. Even turning to look back at Ravvy to show her puzzlement and maybe getting him to explain the meaning.
Lureene Ourson
Lureene hides a smile when she sees Rath emerge from the bathroom, then uses his monk techniques on Suny. She stifles a chuckle on noting the reappearance of the fancy sandles lying underneath the bed. She sympathizes with Suny, having had to wear those kind of high heeled shoes before. Of course she had an advantage Suny did not: She could fly, he he.
In answer to Suny's question, she says, "Well, its kinda hard to explain, although it is a lot of fun, I'm sure!" She leans in close to Suny and whispers, "You see, I've never been shopping either!"
Alis Kirmoon
"What's shopping?" Alis pauses for a moment to contemplate whether Suny is joking or not.
Sense Motive Suny 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Sense Motive Lureene 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Deciding that there's a good chance she's actually serious, she says, "Shopping... well, it's kind of knowing what you want, or at least knowing that you do in fact want something even if you have no idea what it is and then wandering around places that might have what you are looking for until you find it. Then there's a lot of looking and (with dresses) seeing how they feel and how you look and feel in them. Oh and of course there are accessories! Matching shooooeees..." she squeezes one of Suny's little brown toes teasingly, "pearl necklaces, rings, hair pins, silk scarves and sashes, make-up er— 'war paint', more shoes... And you buy what you like or what will make other women jealousy or what the men will like and what no woman has ever been seen in before, and so on and so forth. Oh and of course there's gossiping and trying out new cafés and making men nervous when they think you are talking about them... It's fun, you'll like it!"
Alis smiles obviously quite pleased with her explanation. In one motion, she hops to her feet, wand in hand, and says, "Well, shall we peruse the wares in Cassomir? I promised my retainer that I'd see a certain very special tailor there. Need to drop off a secret order for Alexis and stand-in for the fitting."
Lureene Ourson
On hearing the explanation from Alis, Lureene feels almost as confused as Suny does, but she doesn't care. Back when she was working for the last crime lord, all of her outfits were provided to her, and while they were nice outfits, they really were not designed to be worn to the latest fashion soirees, like Alis and her family would throw for the nobility.
She hops off of the bed and touches Rath's shoulder. "Come along now, for the time of your life!"
Ravarath
Rath listens intently to Miss Alis' description of 'shopping', but her linguistic legerdemain leaves him as perplexed as Suny and Lureene, save for one thing - he realises she is speaking of a Vudran art.
As is widely known, the Vudrani of the Impossible Kingdoms are renowned for creating fanciful tales of the marvels that can be see in their homeland. Most Avistani and Garundi peoples consider them 'storytellers' and 'tall tale merchants'... and this is true. Many stories of the Vudrani are huge embellishments upon the truth. But Rath, having lived in the Impossible Kingdoms and seen some truly amazing things, knew that some of these stories are fact. But how does one explain to an Avistani mage that there are Flying Carpets so large that they encompass whole bazaars which are simply flown to the next location? You can't and you don't try.
One of the tales that has emerged from the Impossible Kingdoms is that the Vudrani invented 'shopping' (as the phrase is known in Avistan) and excel at its practice. It is a practiced discipline much like being stealthy or climbing rocks. The Avistani laugh at this idea. They are wrong to do so, for it is somewhat true. They may not have invented shopping but to some Vudrani, it is a practiced art.
Rath, listening to Miss Alis describe the activity, felt more than heard her guru-like understanding of the art and realised this may be the one Avistani woman who could give his people a run for their money. This should prove a very interesting day.
He tries to assist Miss Alis by clarifying, but first he has to get the women's attention... To Suny "Mera Dil" and Lureene "Meri Devi, please let me try to explain. 'Shopping' is like... hunting an elusive prey that maybe you know or maybe you don't. You stalk it in bazaar, 'shops', you separate it from it's pack - other items very like it - and then you take it down. Heard it is very thrilling activity. Think you have Master Huntsmistress there." He says, inclining his head towards Miss Alis. "Suggest we go hm bag big game for pretty ladies."
Lureene Ourson
Lureene, on hearing the explanation offered by Rath, nods her head slowly. It's a form of competition, like a gladiator or pit fight, between Alis, Suny and myself, and the other shoppers. Her pulse quickens at the thought of finding the perfect outfit, to cause a young handsome man, Havelock, perhaps, or Thomdril, if he was still around to take one look at her and sweep her into his strong arms and carry her away.
The others note Lureene's face getting flushed, and the smell of the otherworldly perfumes, that constantly linger around her, grows stronger. Her hands unonsciously stroke the satiny fabric of her dress.
She notes her friends staring at her, and she blushes, while averting her gaze from them, especially Rath. "I think I am ready to go now!"
Alis Kirmoon
Alis flashes a huge smile at Rath's explanation. "And here you let on like you have a tough time with common..." she teases.
At Lureene's pronouncement of her readiness, Alis nods and waves her costume wand dramatically as she intones, "To the hunt!"
Oof, 2pm ET? Really? Yeah for me it's to the bed! :P Catch you guys tonight if work simmaz dahn...

Sleep well. Good luck with work - simmahhhh, simmmahhh!
If Rath had a hunting horn, he'd be inclined to blow it. He opts instead (lacking the horn) to smile and say "As Sir Rath of the Holy Order of Eclairs, I shall hold the door for young Misses to go through and lead way to great shopping adventure." His actions follow his words.
Lureene Ourson
Lureene allows Alis and Suny to leave the room, while giggling at the antics of Rath, He has certainly changed, and for the better, I think. Suny had better take good care of him, or she will get a scolding from me!
She watches Alis give Rath an exaggerated curtsey, and then Suny mimics the curtsey, and holds her hand out for Rath to take it as gentleman would take his date. She allows Rath to proceed out the door, with Suny in his arms, and then stays behind for a moment to say goodbye to Grak. Once everyone leaves the room, you all see Grak shimmer and vanish, just before Lureene closes and locks the door. She then hurries up to catch up to her friends.
Bitiborium
"Well! A job well done, I think," Bit says to no one in particular as the bar is nearly patronless at this hour of the morning. With the same economy with which he opened his stall, he proceeds to pack it up until it is again the curious 4'x8' oblong on a two-wheeled cart. He thinks for a second and, in a moment of whimsy, pulls out the Flask o' Tarrasque and deposits it on the bar with a note saying only "For Olivier". He pulls out a shiny business card from his vest pocket, scribbles a quick message on the back, and drops that on the bar as well.
Whistling, he turns around and wheels his cart out the door without ever looking back.
Suny
Suny smiles at Alis though she is still trying to re-run the other woman's' words through her mind to fully unravel their meaning. It all seems complicated and....un-necessary...Suny doesn't let that thought show pon her features, not wanting to upset or otherwise cause friction with the other Elven lass.
At the moment she is far happier to slide an arm around Rav and walk along in his company. Unconsciously Sunys' toes curl at the mention of shoes...:P
Ravarath
Walking along with Suny, Rath picks up some hint of her disquiet. He also realises for the first time that she is a good 3" taller than himself. He whispers to her, "Is OK, Suny, Mera Dil. Shoes are not for peoples like us." He sticks out his own bare, brown, foot to show her and winks "One time, I wear shoes. Kicked man in head and shoe flies off! Very embarrassing. You don't want to risk that. If you wear shoes be too tall for me to kiss, not good. You stay in bare feet or sandals then I..." He starts walking on his toes so he is eye-to-eye with the tall blonde, "walk like this - have strong calf muscles, is no problem. If Alis try to make you wear shoes, no worries, I stun her."
Alis turns at overhearing that last sentence and raises an eyebrow at Rath. He gives her best look of wide-eyed innocence.

"Rath, you look so silly walking like that, hun!", Lureene walks behind Rath and Suny, looking very statuesque in her 4' tall high heel sandals. With the heels, she nearly matches Rath in height. "The reason why us short women are forced to wear these heels is so men can watch us suffer! Right, Alis? Maybe we can get her some sexy sndals without the heels! Then Rath won't be stunning you with his eclair eating skills!"
She pulls Rath and Suny close to her, and whispers in their ears,
Suny/Rath or DC 10 Perception
She gives Havelock a smoldering look, followed by a wink, and a smile, before waving him over. He is very handsome, I must admit.

Walking downstairs, Alis calls out to whomever may be listening, "I'm hiring your staff for the day to assist in some matters of great political importance. Feel free to charge their wages to my room. Never fear, we shall return in time for this evening's supper — we wouldn't want to miss out on what other culinary masterpieces your chef is capable of creating!"
Turning to see Havelock sitting in the corner musing about whatever he has on his mind, she says, "Good Sir Havelock, judging by your taste in gifts it would seem you have a clearer idea of who I am than I of you. If you would care to come with us on our expedition for rare and dangerous couture, then perhaps we could speak at greater length..."
With that, she takes Lureene's hand, pauses in front of Limbo's door, and focuses for a moment before tapping it with her play wand.

The door's frame crackles a bit at her touch and the the plane of shadowy substance yawning inside it ripples like gelatin smacked with a spoon before stabilizing after a few moments. Grinning broadly, she skips thru and those who follow find themselves standing upon sun-lit cobblestone streets, a salty breeze drifting thru the air. "Welcome to Cassomir!" she says.
Suny
Suny giggles and laughs at Ravv's comments, her arm about his waist hugging them closer for a second.
"That in't whut's th' problem, luv." She frowns. "There's so much diff'rnt 'tween every ones' lives an' where I come from." She swirls her skirt with a free hand. "I mean, even though wearin' this be fun an' feels nice..eventually I'm gon'a be gettin' tired o' feelin' it aginst me skin an' not want t' have it about..." She looks nervously at Ravarath, "..um...ye ken?" She sighs.
"Back home, t'is a joy t' be all'a-ways feelin' th' sand un'er yer feet. Is like that thing ye done wi' ye hand on me back." Suny even shivers slightly, though whether it's the memory of home or Ravaraths' ministrations he's not sure. "An' wearin' stuff? I mean we does, just like mainly fer carryin' things an' when we's gettin' in't a serious kerfuffle, like..." Her face clouds again since she's sure her mangled words aren't making all the sense she'd like to Rav.
She leans closer and whispers,
Suny glances over a tanned shoulder, her face wearing a puzzled expression as she looks to Lureene.
"But...every one's a same height when they's lyin' down...?" She replies. Then, at the smell of the sea air blowing in through the doorway Suny forgets all else and leans into the breeze simply relying upon Ravs' arms to hold her back.
"Aaah...I did so ferget how good that is..." She whispers to no one in particular.
Lureene Ourson
Rath replies haughtily, "Paladins supposed to be tall, handsome, with flowing golden locks. Least I can be tall, Meri Devi. Perhaps shop for flowing locks wig for me, too! Two of three, good enough."
"Ohh, hun, maybe I will take you up on that offer!" She giggles again, "After all, I do owe you a gift"
Havelock Ebonwood
Turning to see Havelock sitting in the corner musing about whatever he has on his mind, she says, "Good Sir Havelock, judging by your taste in gifts it would seem you have a clearer idea of who I am than I of you. Havelock smiles as Alis greets him. "My dear, I would be glad to accompany you on this adventure."
Suny giggles and laughs at Ravv's comments, her arm about his waist hugging thm closer for a second.
Havelock briefly looks askance at the couple before smiling. "It seems romance is in the air here. You make a good couple."

Your group saunters along the streets subtle as a group of peacocks. Alis seems to be having a good time playing the part of a super-sized faerie making liberal use of her cantrips alternating between playing practical jokes on shops and other people you pass and removing nastiness from the path of Suny's naked feet.
After a few minutes, you find yourselves standing before a 5-story building upon a man-made terrace on a hillside a few blocks from the harbor. The terrace is tall enough that you can see out over neighboring shops to take-in a fine view of the harbor. Upon its cobblestones are a half-dozen wrought-iron tables with elegant chairs where a few patrons dressed in the finery of nobility sit enjoying a brunch.
A placard mounted on the side of the tall, white-plastered building reads:
1: Black Boar Tavern
3: Black Boar Suites
4: Aernelóth Fashion Studios
(appt only)
5: Harborwatch Apartments

Skin, I prefer. Couture I wear here only because not want scare delicate Avistan women! Shoes? My feet hard as boot leather." "Good to have you with us then. They are cute, aren't they? Perhaps now we can converse without miniaturized monsters terrorizing us." She rest her left hand on your offered right arm as you walk. Havelock briefly looks askance at the couple before smiling. "It seems romance is in the air here. You make a good couple."
Rath looks seriously at the gentleman, nods and extends his hand as he has seen Avistan men do. "Thank you for compliment. Have not met, I think. I am Ravarath, monk normally, today I am Paladin guarding all pretty ladies. Are you a Paladin too, today?"
Havelock Ebonwood
"A pleasure to meet you, Ravarath. I'm Havelock Ebonwood." He shakes his hand. "I doubt I could pass for a paladin on the best of days, but a "guard"? Yes, that I can do."
...
"So, whatever moved you to gift me such a... rare vintage? I must confess, such unexpected generosity caught me off-guard."
"Is it not traditional to give a lady gifts when one courts her? It would take an especially-valuable gift to be worthy to give to such a lovely lady as you. Besides, I was wondering what you were going to do with it."
Lureene Ourson
"No, Meri Devi." He says suddenly serious, "I owe you for this and will continue to owe you for many many years."
"Sorry, Rath-hun, you can play that all you want...but you have given me something so priceless, I can never thank you enough!"
After that exchange, and seeing Rath and Suny talking privately, she turns her attention to Havelock, but as she figured out, he seemed to be concentrating on Alis, I hope Alis doesn't get hurt by this, if so, there will be trouble.
Not having any men on her arms, she decides to concentrate on this strange place called Cassomir, in a world called Golarion. She absorbs the sights and sounds of this place, Nothing like Khaledrun, where that place was dying, this place is alive and vibrant.
She was getting several stares from both men and women, but she practiced a disguise technigue to make her wings lock in place, so they looked attached by an unseen harness. She figured it was the best way to avoid trouble.
Ravarath
Rath nods "I don't look as Paladin either... unless Paladin caught in nightclothes - no armor, no sword, nothing. Still, ladies ask for us to be Paladins, so we try best. Please to continue your walking with Miss Alis. Did not mean to intrude on your talk." With that he contentedly withdraws to the side of the tall blonde elf.
Suny
Suny is far too distracted by trying to look at everything than notice Alis' jokes and japes. Coming to the building Suny stares up at the edifice, allowing Rav to hold her waist as she leans back, her mouth open agape as she stares upwards.
"T'is a high as a thrower!" She whispers enigmatically. "Why, we've barely a pile o' coral made buildings reaching that high..." She glances at Rav with a mix of wonder and amazement obvious upon her features and in her large blue eyes. "...like the grand temple back home. T' find a buildin' like this an' it bein' normal." Again the wonder is back in her voice.
Rath laughs deeply, tears rolling down his cheeks, shaking his head, "Meri Subzi Dil, I am monk, from tropical place... for ten years, most I wore was loincloth sometimes not even that IN or OUT of battle. Skin, I prefer. Couture I wear here only because not want scare delicate Avistan women! Shoes? My feet hard as boot leather." He stops laughing and wipes his eyes, "You are Meri Dil to me and beautiful in dress or skin or potato sack, silly girl!"
Rav's comments bring her thoughts back to the present and she looks into the Monks' eyes.
"If'n ye feets is like that, whut were ye walkin' on then?" She absently raises one of her own and shows the brown, unblemished skin there. At a glance it is obvious Suny's feet don't have callouses built up. It is also interesting to note that her tan extends all over her limb, with no pale shading upon the under-soles at all. She blinks at Rav,
"Why d'ye wear a cloth at all then?" She whispers, again obviously looking puzzled by human conventions.
Nope, Suny doesn't even need a role to miss that trick about the door. ;)

Not having any men on her arms...
Rath and Suny look at each other when they see Lureene walking by herself, they exchange brief nods and catch up to her. Rath slides an arm under her wing, resting his hand loosely on her opposite hip. "There. Now I have two angels on my arms. Irori has doubly blessed me." He looks at Lureene seriously, with Suny smiling and says, "You are not alone. Always have me, and many others, I think." nodding at Suny and Alis.

"Pretty! My palms and footsoles little lighter but mostly same color all the way down." He unselfconsciously pulls open his gi to show her his chest and muscled belly. They are the same color as his face and arms. "See? Mostly same." He seems oblivious to the shocked gasps of the Cassomir women by this show of skin, "Can't explain why these people wear so many clothes, 'cept in cold weather, but I wear clothes here because people act very upset if I don't." He shrugs, "Maybe world is crazy."

"We are not crazy, merely foreigners here. Miss Alis, we are going to special clothes shop, yes?"
'Jeeves' diverts his eyes from the monk-adin to Alis and bows respectfully. "Of course," he says, "no doubt you are expected."
The butler nods to a short man dressed in burgandy standing by the entrance who opens the rosewood doors by their gold-inlaid handles and motions with his other arm, head bowed. The interior is an upscale tavern, nearly empty at this hour. It is raised up above the level of the front patio and tall transom-topped picture windows let in copious light as they overlook the harbor.
With a soft creak, you hear a gilded metal lattice slide open beside you revealing a small alcove no more than a 10-foot square in size. The short fellow motions for you to enter. Alis steps inside humming softly you note a more serious gleam in her eyes now, not unlike a cat drawing near to a mouse.

Rath the Monkadin of the Holy Order of Eclairs, bows "Ladies... please to enter."
He gooses Suny as she goes by, eliciting a yelp. He smiles wickedly, "Just shopping."
Sunys' eyes 'pop' open wide for just a second as she bounces forwards into the small space occupied by Alis, causing her to hug the other Elf closer as Ravarath and Lureene also move in with them. Entangled amongst her friends as she, is Sun can do little more than glance back at Ravarath. Though it is clear that there is an intent of some form of mischief or mayhem in her large blue eyes as she looks at Ravarath's smile.
