Kendrella quickly gets to her feet with a muttered "Thanks." Her upbringing has taught her to thank people for their help. The fact that it is a blood dripping demon doesn't change that. Her whole body aches from the repeated beatings she has suffered and she rubs her wrists quickly as she steps towards the doorway to see through. "I hear something in the corridor, we need to stop them from sounding the alarm." Since she doesn't see anything she'll move quietly into the corridor, ready to slumber the next guard she sees.
the guard blinks once twice and on the third blink he falls to the floor snoring but he looks like he could wake at any moment...
The phantom pulled the guard's own truncheon from his fallen body and brought it down into the sleeping man's skull with both hands.
Ah the poor guards head cracks open like a water melon splattering the phantom with brain matter
The phantom drops the truncheon on the body and moves to guard the door to the jail.
The tall man moves to look out the cell door and then addresses the others.
"We have a benefactor who is interested in meeting us. It was from this person that I received the enchanted veil."
"I intend on escaping this place. In addition, I intend to send a message to the Mitrans. I was indifferent to their existence. Now, they have my attention again. I will ensure they regret it."
"Those of you who wish to accept our benefactor's generosity need only aid in this escape and follow me to the location I have agreed to meet them."
"I am Xanos."
Talia seems very inclined, but glances at Rosa for an instant.
Rosa opens the door to let the others go after the other guard, she waves her hand at the open door way.
"Off you pop, try and keep him silent."
The girl dances in a small jig as the demon sings unlocking Kenderella's restraints "Waters nice and waters fine but give me blood i'll make you mine"
Then she smiles at the little girl and take her bloody hand.
"You know I would adopt you if I was not such a career Devil, now lets hear what the nice man has to says"
She hears out Xanos, once done she meets Fireskins eyes for a moment.
::You see all is as It should be, or master dos not place dice as they say. By the way this Xanos is well known to me, never meet him but he has a reputation. We could have a powerful alia here, but he always works to his own agenda. So work with yes, trust no.::
"Fireskin could you take of every thing of use form our two dead jailers, armor and such. It could all be of use.
Then looks back at Xanos,
[b]"Master Xanos would you mind your shade keeping look out, now your idea seems like an excellent one, I and I think my sister fireskin will agree to it. Now we have the cell and a hall way. From here we have to get past the Guards, across a court yard and thought the gate or over the wall. That is unless you where given a secret map that shows another way out or a means to walk through walls. One thing I would very much like to do its go kill the warden, I think he may have something of mine I want back."
she looks down at the little girl,
"What do you think, shall we go see if we can collect any more hearts?"
"My 'shade' is already there, guarding the door." Xanos says with a small nod. "I have no map. Now that we are free and suitably armed, a hostage is the next order of business."
While he spoke he dragged the body of the guard to the wall where he had been chained. He manacled the arms up to the wall and fastened the facecage onto the corpse's head.
Then he touched the body and it rippled, its flesh contorting and changing into the form of the legendary witch hunter Sir Balin, the man responsible for bringing him to this place.
The corpse's skin split and cracked, slowly cutting itself in the shape of letters.

Finally, a glowing rune in the shape of a broken spiral burned itself into the false-Balin's forehead.
While the others readied themselves, the phantom of Xanos shed its ectoplasmic manifestation and faded to semi-transparence. It now hovered like a ghost, untethered by weight or mass. It looked itself over and gave a small approving smile.
"My 'shade' is already there, guarding the door."
Rosa smiled, years fighting in hells wars had meant she had go use to working with a disparity skilled group.
"good work, so lets get ready"
Rosa will make sore the dead body of the gaurd is stripped before Xannos dos his arts and crafts. While he works on his message she looks to the other,
"While our guide plays with the dead, and you get ready you tell me what your good at.
She looks at blade,
"You seem good with a blade, as I know dos fire storm, elf you any good with a bow? Or thrown dagger, that sleep spell will help, we may have to take out a gaurd. With no map and as yet no hostage, we will have to wing it, but move we have to, down here where like rats in a trap. Soon as your ready we go, down the hall way and out."
Kendrella is a bit shocked by the turn of events. She had never killed before and now she had been responsible for the death of two of the guards as surely as if there had been blood on her hands. She tries to not think about what she is doing and drags the guard from near the door closer to the cell. She then helps to strip the guard of all useful items. "We should use the armor. I can use it, it'll interfere with some of my magic, but I can still make people fall asleep. Might be better suited for someone planning on wading into melee though. I hope to avoid that. We should be quick about it though. More guards will undoubtly come to look for their companions. Do both of you conjure up your own weapons and armor?" She indicates Crimson and Talia. "My full name is Kendrella Lefuriel. What are you called priestess? And you swordsman?" She waits for them to reply before replying to Xanos. "What else is in this magical veil of yours? Daggers and lock picks? Is there something to help with our injuries? Another blow and I would probably topple over. Maybe there is something there to aid in our escape? Anyway I don think taking a hostage is a good idea. Who is to say that they value the life of their hostage over capturing us?"
In response to Rosa's questions "I'm much better with a bow than in melee, but a thrown dagger would also work. I would prefer my bombs, but I've got some training with other weapons. Let's see what kind of weapons these guards have."
Rosa bends down the evil little girl, but says to everyone,
"Rosa, just call me Rosa"
She stands back up and offers the Dagger to Kendrella,
"No human armor will fit me, and for weapons I have what I need for now, so here you are Kenderella, now how about the rest of you"
She looks down the hallway that back seeing Xanos almost done.
"When ever your ready Master Xanos"
"The hostage is to provide us a rough map." Xanos said as he finished his macabre message. "We will not be keeping them."
Xanos whispered a small incantation and established a whisper link with his Phantom.
The phantom slowly sticks it's face through the door until it could see out the other side.
Xanos pulled the veil free of his manacle again and pulled off a patch that manifested into a spell component pouch. He stole the other dead guard's belt and attached the pouch to it as he put it on.
"The other pouches are a lantern, rope, clothing, a curative potion, a small amount of money, and a window, which I beleive will act as a magical breach to an existing wall or door."
He pulled the potion free of the veil and handed it to the man with the glowing green armaments. "You seem most likely to be standing in the way of weapons. Take this."
Rosa looks to be thinking for a moment.
"So A magic window, one use I'll bet, so we need the out wall then, that's the good news, bad news is we need to get out there to it and if you don't mind Ill take some clothing.
"
Once ready she says.
"Right we are moving, Xanos your shade has point, Fireskin blade your next, then me the girl, her blood edalon, Xanos and Kenderella."
She heads out the door.
The man whistles as Xanos works his magic on the corpse. "Making this pretty personal aren't ya mate?"
The man does as he's told not particularly inclined to play the part of ringleader right now.
As the new group get ready and various ways, the girl pulls on the gray demons leg looking up at her suckling in her blood stained thumb, with big white dead eyes the blood demon ask "what game are we playing. ..can we play jump the red rope. ..we could use yours just here let me get it out eh hehe the blood demon gets closer to rosa as its claws flash...
kenderella holds back a gag as she helps remove the armor from the decapitated guard as the armor from shanks is covered in blood and guts with a nasty smell coming from his corpse...
Kenderella knows that this prison is a place we're they send criminals to stay before the sentence is carried out...
The Phantom pushes it's ethereal head passed the wood door and can see a table with half eaten food and a big oil lamp lighting the room
As people discuss items, Talia will refuse. "My armor and blade come from within." Seeing that the armor is a coat, she will place one around Rosa. "We will need your magic"
As the girl approaches Rosa, Talia will look directly at her. "Save your claws for the guards. Their guts make much better jumping ropes."
She will then move up to the phantom to prepare to move on.
The man whistles as Xanos works his magic on the corpse. "Making this pretty personal aren't ya mate?"
"This has been personal for a very long time." Xanos rumbled as he pulled free the clothing patch and handed them out.
The phantom continued to carefully scout the next room.

Kendrella slips on the armored coat and picks up the clubs, putting one at her side through a hoop and keeping the other in her hand. "Clubs are barely better throwing weapons than daggers, though I can use either. What weapons do you want Rosa, Xanos? I assume you don't need any extra weapons Talia and unnamed swordsman? We should at least have something to call you by? And what is your name little girl?" Kendrella manages to get over her brief nausea from the dead bodies and now feels a bit braver securely in her armored coat. She turns towards each in turn as she adresses them, bending down slightly to talk to the girl.
"Weapons are all much the same to me. I can use them if I must. I am sure there will be a plethora to choose from soon enough."
the phantom explores the rest of the room and the only stand out feature is a stairway heading up...
the little girl shakes her head ad the demon speaks in the sweet child like female voice "no, mommies and the other girls made the best ropes it even held daddy in the air when he won the hold you breath game...he is silly even after ii said he won daddy wanted to set a record and is still there last i saw him eh hehe"
when kenderella ask her name the sweet girl turns her head looking at her dead in the eye a grin slowly grows on her face as her teeth are revealed to show hand sharpened teeth. for the first time she speaks for the first time. Her voice sounds as echoing death fading in the night the dark cell room feels colder as her words fall out of her mouth "that was the last question mommie asked as i played jump rope...."
The phantom moved through the door into the next room, whispering quietly across the link to his counterpart.
"No other guards in the next room. Only a staircase." Xanos said quietly as they began to move toward the door to the jail.
Rosa takes a Club, takes the Armored cloak from Fireblade with a nod.
She looks at the Blood Edalon and in a stern voice says.
"No, how we are all playing kill the guards, its a sneak game, the fun part is sneaking up on them. Getting them when they don't know we are there, and Your already slow, the dark shade is winning, its off looking for some, you need to fine more and pull out their insides when we find them, come."
She then takes the little girls hand her own inhuman voice says.
"Let me tell you of the hells and what a fun place they can be."
as she leads her out the cell.

At Xanos's scouting info
"Then up we go"
Kendrella is a bit disturbed by the little girl's answer. She hopes the girl is not planning to kill her and that Rosa's diversion is enough to turn the girl's attention away from playing with her innards. "Let's play Rosa's sneak game for now. Then we'll find more guards to play your rope game with later."
As they start moving she sends a message to Blade walking by her side.
The shadow looks into room 20 and finds it to be the room his host was taken to when the women spoke to him. It in specks the odd chimney that is grated above small embers sit smoldering in the ashes.
The man left in the cell screams
"I suppose for now refer to me by my working title "The Crimson Blade" not my choice by the way but people do not hire me for my poetry."
Then he shrugs as he pauses for a second to listen to something.
Then he cringes at the scream. "Well then I suppose I have to stay here and deal with the oncoming rush of guards yes?"
Xanos glances back at the yelling man, considering.
Kendrella turns on her heels at the shouting and cringes. She instantly makes him fall asleep. "He could just have asked you know..." She whispers. "Will you deal with him too?" She asks of the demon.
The man falls right to sleep and will wake soon
the demos look at kenderella as if she dose not know what she i asking
Xanos looked annoyed for a moment and walked back to the cell. He crouched in front of the sleeping man a watched him as he awoke.
Once the man was concious Xanos spoke.
"Yelling is not a good way to earn the gratitude of the people who are able to release you. Consider this your trial by a jury of your peers. Who are you and what do you have to offer?"
Meanwhile Talia is preparing for the fight.
The Phantom quickly moves to the stairs, sinking into the ground and looking down the stairwell, waiting to signal in case other guards came running.
Jocly wakes up and jumps when he sees xanos in front of him "holy, by the broken light of night how you do that"
He asked xanos "look get jocly out too can't go murdering with your good friend can ye..noo can't do that. So let's us free... "
"Answer the question." Xanos said calmly.
He looks at xanos "what do you mean I bring the same as the rest a steady blade a silent foot, what else dose one need for escape. ..
