Coughing a bit, Svetlana backs down the tunnel where the burning acid smell is not so strong. Also worried the smell might attract unwanted attention, she moves to the shadows along one of the walls.

A few applications of acid are all it takes to cause the latch holding the door closed to break, and the section of wall swings open. Within you see you are in some sort of storage area under a set of stairs.

Check the map...you are under the stairs at the moment (just grouped you all there). It is quiet in this area of the fort, at the moment, but you can hear people talking near the front gate and the occasional growling-squawk froom somewhere inside the ruined keep.

Brigid nocks an arrow and starts to move silently, taking slow, deliberate steps to avoid making the stairs creak. No vords now until ve are seen. She gestures to Damen to move after her.

These steps are very steep, and not very well build. As soon as you place any weight on them, they creek and groan quick loudly. Somehow Brigid is able to manage most of the distance with very little noise.
Once near the top you see the roof areas have been turned into guard towers. From where you are you can see 2 guards.

I have made another page on the roll20 sight for the upper level...can you check and see if you can all access it? If not, I will have to enlarge the space on the first page and try to cram the 2 maps together...once you can access it, then I will place the bandits you can see on that level...sound good?

I just see the one map...though not sure how one would switch to a second map as a player. I do see the PC's on the map in the SE corner, but this is the main map you've always had up.

Sorry I keep forgetting you have not used the program much....at the top of the page is a blue tab that looks like a piece of paper (white silhouette). Click on that and it will bring up the other pages (or should). I am just not sure as I am in DM mode and you have the Player mode...so I do not know if you have access (I think you do!)

Still no luck for me...I don't see any blue tab that looks like a piece of paper. Maybe one of the other PC's could look? I'm wondering if that only appears on the GM's version.

With a last look at Akiros, Damen nocked an arrow and wordlessly followed after Brigid.

I assume that Ulryk is also staying back? If you moved onto the stairs Svetlana I need a stealth roll at -2 from you

Both Brigid and Damen creep up the stairs. From where they are, they can see a guard on one of the 4 watch platforms. They cannot see if there are more without climbing right up onto the walkway.
At the moment you just have your heads level with the platform...if you want to attack (with bow) you will have to climb all the way, and allow the guard a chance to see you (stealth vs perception).

Ulryk takes a defensive position guarding Svetlana and Kent. For the moment he has his ranseur out, though for those familiar with his fighting techniques, they know that means little considering how quickly he can draw and replace a weapon in his hands.

Ok, Brigid can pretty much do whatever she wants!! Even a natural 20 will not help these guys....but just in case 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22...Ohh..close! Just so you know, the upper level is mostly open and the 'guard towers' nothing more than wooden platforms with a rail around them at waist height. You are actually above the area labeled 'stag lord'

Brigid stealthily moves up the stairs and get in a good location to keep an eye on the guard, and is even able to spy a second guard on the platform further to the north.

Damen crept a few steps behind Brigid, narrowly avoiding a board that looked particularly creaky. As he crested the top of the walkway, he glanced between the two bandits visible, then back at Brigid. There was no good way to hide in such an exposed position.

After a moment's thought, he pointed at her, then the farther bandit, and then himself and the nearer bandit. He spread his hands slightly in a questioning gesture.

Moved fifteen feet. I can't remember exactly how far a stealth roll allows one to move.

Bandits: Unknown (you can hear a lot of noise (voices calling and shouting and such), but from where you are now, you cannot see anything else.

Brigid moves north to the gray roof area and pauses, readying herself to send a lethal arrow to any bandit that begins taking the stairs up to their level.

Ok, back at it...Yes Brigid you can access that area, but I need you to make a reflex check, as the roof is in very poos condition and there is a chance it might crumble under your weight. Also once you are up there you can now get a clear look at the other two towers, and can see they contain bandits, both armed with bows.

The party can hear shouting and people running about, but they seem focused at the far end of the fort. Both Brigid and Damen can now see 2 more bandits in the watchtowers near the front of the fort, but the other bandits and their leaders are not visible.

Just a quick note. The placement of all the bandits but the 2 in the towers is not necessarily where they are. This is just a guess from the noise you have heard, so do not take their placement as an exact location.

Akiros stays with the main group, waiting for orders as what you want him to do. His sword is out, and his shield held at the ready.

Svetlana and Ulryk can go now.

If you want to take 10, but you will not get a shot this round as you are concentrating on not falling through the roof and finding stable footing. You will also be 1/2 move with DC-10 acrobatics check to get around on this roof due to its poor shape.

As the sounds of combat hit their crescendo, Svetlana crept along the platform in stealth. The time was not yet right for other actions, but she focused inwardly for a moment. Calling upon Calistria's duplicitous nature, a image double of the priestess sprang into existence next to her.

Move action in stealth to current location, then another move action for Copy Cat ability...basically makes one Mirror Image

While standing and waiting to see what is happening, Kent, Akiros and Ulryk see two bandits come around the corner of the ruined keep. Behind them they can hear someone shouting to 'Get up there and kill the bastards!'

Elsewhere the two furthest bandits on the watchtowers at the front of the keep take a shot at Damen.

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Both miss badly. The wounded bandit at Damen's feet continues to bleed, but is now unconscious.

Whoops, didn't realize I was up!

Damen looked at the bleeding bandit, a moment's hesitation coming over him as he saw the man still breathed. The hesitation evaporated as the arrows narrowly missed him and he moved quickly back toward where he'd left his bow. He held out his hand to Kent to recover it and pointed out the two bandits who shot at him.

Over his shoulder he called to Svetlana, "The one I hit still lives. For now."

I've taken a step, but it looks like the rubble might be difficult terrain. If I can take a 5-foot step, then I'll Rapid Shot at that bandit near the owlbear pen. If not, I'll move all the way over to the opposite wall and take a shot.

Brigid doesn't take any time to dust herself off. Trailing a small cloud of debris from her fall, she steps to get nearer to the bandit that she can see.
