Provisos and notes and such:
Myself and family will be travelling off to London for both the Rugby World Cup, and taking my mum back to the UK for the first time since she emigrated about 50 years ago. Will be fun... not so much the transit (kids plus planes = tired parents) but once we get there much fun and frivolity should ensue.
We have wifi at the accommodations I'm going to, but I can't promise that I'll be around often enough to get frequent posts in, nor verbose ones if the situation calls for it. When you combine that with the relative verbosity required of the DM position... it makes it somewhat untenable. So for that reason I'll be calling a pause on the campaign while I'm away.
I'll be back in KL and ready for resumption of general service on the 9th-10th ish of October.

Tenro |

FYI, i'm currently primarily posting from my cell phone, dealing with crappy Hawaii hotel wi-fi (it's like they expect me to go outside or something) for four days until i fly to a different hotel with unknown wi-fi potency for an unknown number of days.
So, while i will be posting, they will be slightly more infrequent and most typically brief.
Copy/pasted to all games.

I'll note that the fundamental question posed in the main gameplay thread is as yet unanswered as well. There hasn't been any in character discussion or decision as to which area the group's headed towards or any back and forth as to why one option might be better / worse than another... you can assume your characters have a reasonable understanding of warjacks and how they might function to aid that.
As a DM I prefer to have character actions posted out IC rather than stated OOC as well.
So if we could get at least a little back and forth in thread on that?

I'm still here, and should be in thread fairly shortly to advance things. Just struggling with a sense of ennui and lingering throatsoreness and blah-ness.
This is the primary source of it - I have only seen blue skies once (for only a couple of hours) since I arrived back from the UK over a week and a half ago...

Katherson |

Katherson would have waited until they were all gone but from what I saw the trollkin were all about swift vengeance, so he backed your play assuming it was blaze of glory time.
But that many soldiers, "overwhelming" is the word used I believe, attacking is not a great idea.

Óengus Mac Gairm |

Its not, but leaving Conrael to die is not an option. Listen I'm happy to sacrifice Oengus if you lot can use the distraction to get the troll to safety? He's a headcase so I've no qualms about a forlorn hope, but not if it gets all of you killed and doesn't save Conrael.

Pulling back slightly to this post (which we can soft reset to if you like) the key questions are:
1) Conrael is still alive.
2) The Khadorans are many and only just departing.
3) One jack remains, with significant damage to it's center... and that jack has seemingly been abandoned.
The warjack looks like this...
Where it's damaged looks to be around the cortex...
If it's acting on instinct rather than direction, maybe it's not thinking straight...
I wonder if there is anything that could be done which wouldn't sound like fresh enemies into the fray?...
Scream in pain like a dying trollkin to get his attention away frae Conrael?
The Berserker has suffered cortex damage, so it's on rage-pilot. The Khadorans are pulling out to prevent it from going chop-socky on them.

Óengus Mac Gairm |

Having home interwebs headaches gents - and not getting a chance to post at work (good news is I'm still gainfully employed in the ailing oil industry... bad news I've more responsibility (cough) workload (cough) in my new role)
Might be a tardy in posting for this week coming...

Sirs, with all due respect and apologies I'm going to have to shut down this campaign. I apologize for leading you astray into a scenario and setup where I haven't been able to either capture your attention and engage it in the flow of the narrative, or seemingly place down text that's interpretable and able to offer guidance and direction for your actions.
Ultimately it comes down to my failings, and I know from experience when I start finding reasons to delay updating that it's easier to rip off the bandaid than let it fester along. I had a thought process and mental idea, I just haven't been able to deliver for you guys.
It's clear to me that my lassitude has flowed through to your interest as well, as we're far from any critical mass on posts and flow.
So thankyou for your time and interest, and fare you well upon the boards.
