Camarilla vs the Sabbat. Cities vs Countryside. Groups vs Individuals. Clan vs Clan. Sire vs Childer. The Anarchs. The Independants. Hunters. Werewolves. Mages.
The conflicts and enemies of the Children of Caine are many and varied. Some seek to control. Some to destroy. Others to rule. Yet there is one enemy that has united many clans in the past, one foe that aligns hated enemies and sets them on the same path. It is a villian that is more skilled at subtly than some of greatest among the Cam and one who is capable of greater destruction than the most powerful found in the Sabbat. They are feared by most, yet truly known by few. Their name is invoked to both terrorize and teach, for they are scarier than even the oldest Kindred yet it is easy to become on of their own for power corrupts and their power is often the sweetest and most enticing. They are the Infernalists and they know where you sleep.
Game Info:
This is a game using the Revised or 3rd edition rules for VtM(NOT that requiem crap). It's set in my own version of the world, where a Laosmbra holds power over the US Presidency and as such the Sabbat hold a lot of power and many of the Major cities. If your familiar with the Clan Novel series some of that will be used as well, such as the Sabbat assualts and subsequent conquest of much of the east coast. NYC is under the control of one of my PCs, an Assamite, who currently goes by the field name Moridin(yes taken from the WoT)
All clans are allowed, but those who have fought against the Inferalists and the Baali in the past are slightly more preferred.
Character creation will be as per the Elder rules, found in several places, including I believe the STs Handbook. As I am currently at work, I will need to post them later.
Also, I strongly suggest that a good balance between martial, investigative, and roleplay characters be aimed for.

I would be interested in the game as well.
Will the game be set in NYC? I take it that it will be a Sabbat game?
The clans that spring to mind for me are Tremere Antitribu (I believe they are still around at the time of the Clan Novel Series), or a Serpent of Light.
I am at work as well but I will post a character later using the Elder Rules.

It will start in NYC, but will most likely move to other major cities, both in the US and around the world, if the game lasts long enough.
It will NOT be Sabbat only. While they will have influence, this a plot that can n will bring any clans together.
the two main anti Baali/Infernalist clans are the Assamites and Salubri Anti, but there are plenty others who oppose those who deal with the foul powers of Hell.

Sounds good. I do not see rules for Elders in ST Revised so I will use rules from Elysium in my character below. I will go with a straight Tremere character as I have not played one in probably 15 years. I think my concept will be a mortal who was once a priest. His role as he rose through the ranks was to collect and bring dangerous publications back to the Vatican circa 1700. Once the character is approved I will work on his background narrative.

I have second ed. Is that a problem?
yes, this is Revised. The main book is rather big, and features the 13 main clans as opposed to the seven from the Cam that's in the 2ed book. that's how you can make sure you know which one ya got. Looking over your character, you list Dementation as opposed to Dominate, which the Malks got in Revised.
Elysium rules are fine, which I will post up in a bit. the Background Age is allowed, but only up to 3.

Ok, my bad, kinda forgot about this: Clan Disciplines, in which I include Protean are only allowed up to level 1, UNLESS you have a hella good reason to have higher, and not just you performed Diablere on some vamp with it.

couple of little suggestions: raise Investigation to 5 or if you don't mind an extra Derangement, 6 or 7. And if you can, i'd raise Auspex to 3 or 4, as that seems like it should be your primary discipline as opposed to Obfuscate or Fortitude.
To All:
Merits and Flaws are definitely allowed, surprised neither PC has either currently. I personally love em, lol

Cool I like merits and flaws as well but I know some ST's hate them.
I will work on my background story and revise my stats as well.
As an ST/DM, there's not much I won't allow at my "table" especially if it helps make your character as perfect as possible.
Also, we only have just you two atm, so take your time building your character.
Finally, and I'm sorry I didn't include this in the OP, but any and all VtM books are allowed, 2ed or Revised as I either have the physical book, or own the the pdf. So feel free to use books like the various Guides, Clan Books, etc.

I just finished writing it but did not proof-read it at all. At this point I just want to get it out there for your thoughts Monkeygod. Let me know if I should add or subtract anything. I am going to set up my revised character sheet in another post.
Beschi as he now calls himself was born at Castiglione in the Venetian Republic in the Year of Our Lord 1680. Born a third son into a wealthy family he chose to take the cloth rather than enter a life of politics or mercantilism. BY the age of 18 he was accepted into the Jesuit order and quickly rose through their ranks. Through familial connections he was assigned a post in the Vatican’s Secret Archives copying manuscripts and retrieving books that were considered a “danger” to the faith.
The head librarian assigned him to retrieve books that were identified belonged to people of influence as he had a way with words and could convince others in a polite but firm manner. Beschi initially realized that a power for ill purpose lurked in the world during these young years. Strange people encountered on dark roads posed great dangers to him. However, Beschi’s trusted servant Tribulat was always with him sword in hand. While the order frowned on this the Beschi family influence was enough to keep too loud a protest at bay.
In 1707 Beschi met Father Fabrizio Ulfilia a powerful and influential member of the church and someone who was whispered to be a very holy man. Beschi began to work for him retrieving texts that were even more sinister in nature. However instead of preserving the texts, mostly about supernatural creatures, he would keep the volumes. Suspicious of the behavior Beschi reached out to the head librarian about the practice. Soon after the head librarian passed on and was replaced by another who was less than favorable in his treatment of Beschi. Beschi was sent on a long trip into the wildlands of France in the middle of the Spanish War of succession. If not for the quick thinking of Tribulat, Beschi would have perished at the hands of a mercenary protestant army.
Barely escaping the experience with his life Beschi decided to follow the path of Roberto de Nobili and take up the life of a missionary on the Mandura mission. Originally being a linguistic scholar Beschi thought that this would not only be beneficial work in the name of the Lord but would get him far out of the seemingly influential reach of Father Ulfilia. Thus in the spring of 1710 Beschi bade his family farewell and with young Tribulat in tow made the lengthy trek to Southern India.
The mission work was very difficult but the reward of expanding his linguistic horizons. He threw himself into his work studying Sanskrit, Talugu and Tamil in a way that he could not have done even in the expansive library of the Vatican. He composed the grammar of High Tamil and Low Tamil. He attempted to break down the barrier between the regions by creating a translation key for Tamil Latin and Portuguese. He also wrote an influential doctrinal instruction pamphlet for the catechists of the mission. Over the decades in the mission he wrote lengthy poems in the Tamil language.
Not all was work for Beschi though. After his experience with the protestants of France he vehemently opposed the Danish Lutherans who attempted to gain a foothold in the Mandura mission. His passionate litany on the Lord led to encounters with local Hindu priests and some debates became so heated that Beschi was almost martyred by angry adherents after the fact. Through it all though Tribulat was there a strong anchor in a strange land.
Towards the end of his life he continued writing and even became the rector of the mission of Manapar. However, the story of Beschi and Tribulat did not end there. In 1745 a visitor came to the mission looking for a translator among the westerners for he had recently arrived in the area. He claimed to have spent a great deal of time in the western regions of the Persian lands and was making his way farther east seeking wisdom. He called himself Celestyn and claimed to be a scholar much like Beschi.
The man was charming, intelligent and engaging. He was unlike any other man that Beschi had encountered in quite some time. As Beschi began to feel ill of health Celestyn concocted herbal remedies that helped ease his pain. In a few months time these concoctions had him feeling better than he had in years. The same potion seemed to work wonders on ailing Tribulat whose arthritis had made him practically bedridden the previous few years. Beschi began to spend time with Celestyn and ignore his duties with the mission.
In the Year of Our Lord 1746, Beschi’s right hand man within the Jesuits questioned Beschi’s commitment to the mission. Beschi realized that he was right, for months the mission had suffered at his lack of attentiveness. After a long discussion with Celestyn he agreed to hand over the rectorship. The Jesuits were shocked at Beschi’s turn around. However, they acquiesced to Beschi’s wished and threw him a celebratory dinner. After the feast Celestyn came to him and Beschi questioned why his new friend did not show up to the meal held in his honor.
Celestyn revealed a great deal that night. He revealed that it was not by accident that he made his way to the mission. Celestyn had heard of the scholarly nature of Beschi and had specifically chosen him that he may aide Celestyn’s work on the Indian continent. Celestyn had a mission, one set upon him centuries before, a demonic force whose name could not be uttered had to be stopped and Celestyn was seeking knowledge so that he may prevent a catastrophe. Beschi laughed at the exaggeration of his new friend but as the fangs slowly descended from Celestyn’s mouth Beschi realized that this was no jest. God had called him, Celestyn claimed and now he was calling upon Beschi to make the ultimate sacrifice.
Beschi turned to Tribulat for help but his old friends’ vacant look eyes the story. He was servant of Celestyn now and there could be no help but for Beschi to agree to be the same. Realizing that resistance was futile Beschi gave into the will of Celestyn.
Over the next 40 years of his early unlife, Beschi and Tribulat journeyed with Celestyn along the dark nights and dark byways of the Indian country. He encountered Brahmins who were human as well as inhuman, strange creatures who could shift their shape, and even men who could wield reality as if it were clay. Celestyn was part of Clan Tremere though a rogue element having disappeared centuries before hand on the quest he still pursued. He would never speal specifically of what he sought to do but it clearly involved dark tidings and Beschi never one to pry too far accepted the privacy of his Sire.
His change though made him bitter, where once he was a man of learning and light he became a cynic a pessimist of the highest order.
In the Year of Our Lord 1786 Celestyn gave Beschi the choice to be free of him. No longer a childe he was told he was now a neonate and could make the choice to stay or to go. Beschi laughed at the choice and because the work of Celestyn filled him with purpose he decided to stay. Celestyn pleased with the decision began to teach Beschi the greater mysteries of Thaumaturgy as well as the Occult. By the Year of Our Lord 1815, Celestyn felt he had learned all he could from his Indian cousins and decided to move off to the far east. This journey Celestyn forbade Beschi to make. He was told to return to the west to journey to the city of Vienna and seek Celestyn’s sire Etrius. Once there he would reveal to Etrius and Etrius alone that Celestyn was indeed still among the dead and that his quest had taken him farther east. Etrius would accept him into the clan and perform the ritual to bind Beschi to the Council of Seven.
By this time Tribulat had fully become Beschi’s ghoul and made the journey with him to the west. Without the powerful Celestyn at his side the journey west was a perilous one. Being in Northern India Beschi decided to trek overland through lands dominated by Clan Assamite. In the deep lands of the Durrani Empire, Beschi was captured by a nomadic band of Gangrel. Tribulat badly injured from fighting the vicious creatures was nearly spent when Beschi did what he did best, debated. One of the Gangrel spoke the Pashto dialect and Beschi surprised him by speaking in his native language. Impressed with Beschi’s knowledge and having read some of his poetry, the Gangrel, Mirwais allowed him and his ghoul to continue with their unlives. In exchange for scholarly debate, Mirwais would accompany Beshi on his journey to the west. He also sought he secrets of Thaumaturgy though Beschi would not part with such knowledge he did agree to teach him the mysteries of the other Tremere clan disciplines.
Mirwais, in exchange taught Beschi the gift of protean this would also ease passage for Beshi. Mastering the discipline as he had mastered many difficult tasks in his life Beschi found sleeping in th earth disconcerting but realized the great utility of the gift. The now three companions moved with greater ease in the wilderness without the need to constantly find places for the undead flesh of Beschi to avoid the sun. Avoiding entanglements with the Assamites by taking routes traveled only by Gangrel by 1817 Beschi was gazing at the Caspian Sea. Mirwais turned back as he knew that his reception in western lands especially as a member of clan Gangrel would not be met with great courtesy.
Beschi and Tribulat took a boat over the Caspian Sea and finally into the outskirts of the new Russian territory of Baku. After a non violent altercation with local Brujah, Beschi was given haven and invited to debate with the elder that assumed control of the city from the previous Assamite Caliph. Beschi spent a years in Baku which stayed relatively peaceful since the cessation of the Caucus from Ottoman to Russian control. Beschi learned the subtle art of presence from the Brujah Prince who was impressed with his daring and his work as a mortal. He translated numerous volumes of important works for the Brujah prince during his stay into multiple languages.
By 1827 Beschi knew that the road to Vienna was still a long one and decided that there was no time like the present to make his way to the fortress of his clan founders. Beschi passed overland to the Black Sea and purchased passage with the money he made from his time in Baku. The trip would bring him through the Black Sea and up the Danube. His trip was cut short though in BudaPest where Clan Ventrue made thorough searches of passengers on ships and demanded that Beshi present himself to the Prince of the City despite the fact that he was simply passing through.
As he announced himself at Court a member of Clan Tremere who was part of the court began to question Beshi’s lineage. Beshi answered that he was due in the Chantry House of Vienna for presentation to Etrius who was his grandsire. This Tremere Karl Schrekt was interested indeed in Beschi’s story and agreed to accompany Beshi to “his” city. Along the journey Karl told Beschi stories of his life as a mortal hunter of demons stating that the battle was very real and that the war was still not won against infernalism. Beshi believed that perhaps this very battle was the one that Celestyn fought but did not reveal his sire to this obviously fanatic brother in the clan.
Within no time, Beshi finally arrived at his destination and only 15 years after he had started the journey. Etrius agreed to see him curious about this grandchilde that he had never heard of before. The powerful figure of Etrius overwhelmed even the cynical Beshi who was soon spilling his story to the Tremere Councilor. Etrius was overjoyed that Celestyn was still alive but troubled by the quest which had brought him away from the fold. Etrius agreed to initiate Beshi inot the clan but stated that he would need to undergo the trial period as a Childe to a Tremere anacillae if he wished to find his pace within the Tremere pyramid.
Reluctantly, Beshi agreed. He was placed in the Roman Chantry of Grimgorth so that it would not seem an act of favoritism to one who was the bloodline of Etrius by staying in the Chantry House where Tremere himself resided. The journey for Beshi and Tribulat was a comfortable one though the menial work demanded of a Childe did nothing to improve Beshi’s attitude. His new “sire” was jealous of him as he was clearly more powerful in the ways of the Thaumaturgical arts. However, despite the political fiat, Beshi was glad to be in his native home, a place he had now not seen in well over a century.
The Camarilla power base was still well centered in Rome at this time and important Tremere as well as other important elders frequented the Salons of Rome. In 1843 Beshi established his greatest rivalry which to this day still burns brightly despite the continent between them. At a meeting of the Inner Circle Beshi came face to face with “Father” Fabrizio Ulfilio, the vampire had not aged a day. The Elder manipulator recognized Beshi as well and took an instant disliking to someone who as a mortal had escaped his net.
The political intrigue was further ratcheted up when Beshi used his long years as a missionary among the Jesuits to gain influence among that order in Rome and the Vatican. This was of course Ulfilio’s traditional sphere of influence. Grimgorth was more than happy to have the sphere of influence of the Clan expanded and allowed Beshi to become free of his sire moving up the ranks of the pyramid of power.
For over 100 years Beshi and Ulfilio played a power struggle against one another. Despite Beshi’s great skills he was no match for the now millennia old Elder and was disgraced in Salon, his political power in Rome broken. Grimgorth disgusted at his failure sent the anacillae back to his grandsire in Vienna to be assigned to a less prestigious Chantry. Beshi had failed but vengeance burned within him. He wished to strike back at the Elder Ventrue but there was little he could do within the confines of the sect of the Camarilla. Etrius was not overjoyed to be associated with a failing member of his own bloodline and listened intently to Beshi’s idea to get himself back on track.
The new world with its vast possibilities was where he wished to go. His fortune would be made or lost there he convinced Etrius. Etrius contacted Peter Dorfman of the US and requested that Beshi be placed somewhere important as befitted the station of a European Tremere. Dorfman said he could use a kindred of courage in the northern US near Sabbat dominated New York City. There was Regent who had perished in the city of Hoboken and orfman was seeking a replacement for this “prestigious” location. Beshi agreed knowing little of the political structure but realizing that to be close to New York city was an opportunity as the city had grown by leaps and bounds by this time.
In 1934 Beshi arrived in Hoboken and became the Regent of his own Chantry. The Chantry was small and the territory constantly threatened but it was Beshi’s. The post was in many ways similar to the rectorship of Manapar late in his human life. The similarity did not escape him after a few decades of stagnation and it was clear to Triblat that Ennui had set into his long time companion. The ghoul begged Beshi to take another confidant into his wing a young fresh mortal who could re-educate him to the ways of the modern world.
In 1996 Beshi finally agreed with Tribulat that it was time to do something. An anacillae half his age, Aisling Sturbridge, had become the head of the Five Boroughs Chantry of New York, a position that rightly should have been Beshi’s. He made a ghoul (but still refused to sire) of a young linguistics student who attended NYU, Catelyn Haart, who lived in Hoboken. With her he was introduced to a new modern world. He began to learn the computer and got on the new information superhighway. He began to become distracted by the sheer volume of information and instead of politically moving up the ranks fell into the old habit of the scholar. When the call came from the Camarilla to take New York from the Sabbat Beshi held himself in check not wanting to risk his unlife in a no win battle. To his surprise and embarrassment, the Sabbat fell and the city is now in Camarilla hands…

Here are the revised statistics of Master Costanzo Giuseppe Beschi. I used (perhaps too many) freebies on different thaumaturgy paths. I do not have any one discipline over 3 though. I pulled this character from history, he was an Italian Jesuit who was a missionary in Southern India in the early 1700's. I thought that since the sire I picked Celestyn journeyed east for centuries this would be an interesting background. Let me know if the explanation for Protean is good enough otherwise I will reallocate those points elsewhere. I will pick out specific languages for my lingusitics score once the character is approved.

Thinking about the idea of both spirit mentor and true love and that being one in the same an individual lost to the spirit world the same night as the character's embrace......I am thinking his wife still with him after a fashion.....
Not as sure about the flaws yet...
I will raise investigate further and auspex likely....
Any input or ideas....
I am thinking perhaps she drowned and I can not cross running water....
It is still swimming around in my head.
Dennis Harry
Would the spirit mentor/true love be a part of a derangement? In a way it would be more interesting if it was not since you are doing Malkavian everyone will assume it is just a delusion :-)
Not crossing running water is a cool idea. Is that a Flaw or a derangement? How about vengeance towards your sire who embraced you but let your love die/drown.
KenderKin
I am thinking yes most people would assume the wraith does not exist...
I think that vengance on the sire is another idea, I am working on...that aspect as well.

Notoriety: (3 pt Flaw)
You have a bad reputation among the Kindred of your chosen city. This may be your own reputation, or it may be derived from your sire. There is a two-dice penalty to all dice rolls for social dealings with the city's Kindred. A character with this Flaw may not take the Merit of Reputation.
Dark Secret: (1 pt Flaw)
You have some sort of secret that, if uncovered, would be of immense embarrassment to you and would make you a pariah in the Kindred community. This can be anything from having murdered an elder to having once been a member of the Sabbat. While this secret weighs on you mind at all times, it will only surface in occasional stories Otherwise. it will begin to lose its impact.
I like the idea that shortly after my embrace and my wife's death and return that my sire suddenly disappeared from kindred society, and I had increased my generation. Killed my own sire?

OK a little closer than before....

True Love: (1 pt Merit)
You have discovered, but may have lost (at least temporarily) a true love. Nonetheless, this love provides joy in a torrid existence usually devoid of such enlightened emotions. Whenever you are suffering, in danger or dejected, the thought of your true love is enough to give you the strength to persevere. In game terms, this love allows you to succeed automatically on any Willpower roll, but only when you are actively striving to protect or come closer to your true love. Also, the power of your love may be powerful enough to protect you from other supernatural forces (Storyteller's discretion). However, your true love may also be a hindrance, and require aid (or even rescue) from time to time. Be forewarned: this is a most exacting Merit to play over the course of a chronicle.
Spirit Mentor: (3 pt Merit)
You have a ghostly companion and guide. This spirit is able to employ a number of minor powers when it really struggles to exert itself (see Haunted, below), but for the most part its benefit to you is through the advice it can give. This ghost is the incorporeal spirit of someone who was once living, perhaps even someone particularly famous or wise. The Storyteller will create the ghost character, but will not reveal to you its full powers and potencies.
Can't Cross Running Water: (3 pt Flaw)
You cannot cross running water unless you are at least 50 feet above it. "Running water" is any body of water more than two feet wide in any direction and not completely stagnant. A Kindred with this Flaw obviously believes too much in old wives' tales.
Eat Food: (1 pt Merit)
You have the capacity to eat food. It's an ability you developed at an early point in your undead existence, or perhaps it has been a latent ability all along. This is considered disgusting by other Kindred, but can be of great assistance in maintaining the Masquerade.
Misplaced Heart: (2 pt Merit)
Your heart has actually moved within your body, though no more than two feet from its original position near the middle of your chest. Those who attempt to stake you find it very difficult to find the right location (which should be your most tightly guarded secret).
The story
It was a Honeymoon to end all honeymoons days of exploration in the Irish countryside. The nights full of passion as WWII had ended and the days full of sunshine and the balm of the winds, grass beneath our feet.
The last evening a moonlit walk a torrent of rain a meeting with my sire…..
The rain came down and we were far from anywhere, we found the estate and to refuge from the rains…
Our new host entertained and then began to hint of payment for our stay, it became apparent that this man was mad and loathsome as he chased us from his home, into the rains, into this place till on a narrow bridge he grabbed us both, lifted us up with what I thought was the strength of madness…..
My wife screamed and something burned his hand he threw her into the swollen waters below and began biting and ripping at me…I felt my life fade and then it happened the embrace, the becoming and I was lost and alone with nothing left. I searched for her but could not find her, in time though she found me.
Together we took revenge upon the monster who had undone us both, and now together we continue forward seeking only more time together……
That was a long time ago in another era, in another country, but who knows if the truth will ever come out, though I boldly deny knowing my sire, his lineage, nor even his generation, other kindred suspect and I have a reputation for not telling them.
I have though by the prince been assigned to make sure the traditions hold and to enforce those practices upon others. So it is I who am in the position to ask the questions and others that must answer!
Prelude
Edgar was a career military man during WWII he worked in linguistic, military intelligence and military police. Lonore was waiting for him to return from overseas….

I had to dig my old second edition out of the crypt just for this, and yes it has been that long and it will get the juices flowing!

Prelude
Edgar was a career military man during WWII he worked in linguistic, military intelligence and military police. Lonore was waiting for him to return from overseas….
Edgar is old enough to have rarely been questioned so determining his age, clan, nationality, date of embrace, etc is difficult this tends to unsettle other kindred, perhaps more so than if they knew the true circumstances of his embrace. Edgar and Lenore returned to the US after the embrace and stayed with the Navajo learning more of the language and peoples also discovering that the traditional home the hogan is a safe place even though by tradition the doorway faces the east to welcome the sun.

Glad to see more folks interested!!! yes, it's been a bit since I have actually responded, but I have been following each post, promise.
weekend was a bit hectic, as was my day at work, so I wasn't able to actually read some of the more in depth posts, but I will and respond in kind.
That being said, Kender, I like and approve of the True Love/Spirit Mentor concept, along with the other addons.
BONUS MERIT!: All players will gain the Common Sense Merit(or whatever it's called) for free. As some(all?) of you have mentioned it being a long time since you played, this merit will allow me as ST to basically let you know if your about to do something dumb, more or less.

making a few more changes, here and there...
Going to specify firearm to...and give myself another point in that skill....
M1911 Colt .45 Pistol
American Handgun used in WWII
Officers, non-coms, and certain enlisted specialists carry a Colt .45 pistol.
Both Hanley and Saunders carry a Colt 45 handgun throughout Combat!
The standard side-arm of American soldiers from the early 1900s through Desert Storm, the Colt 45 (M1911 / M1911A1) is still the handgun choice of many soldiers.

Sorry to do this, but when I was skimming the header last night I hadn't realized you guys were going for an Elders game. Elder games are a different breed of V:tM and not one I'm really into. I prefer the low power "keep my head low to not be crushed by the powers that be" style of game. So I'm not in after all, but I might read along as you go.

Sorry you feel that way, as while the characters might be "elder" via stats and gen(and even that isn't true that much, just look at the two posted) this will defintely be a "not be crushed by the powers that be" style of game. Except that in this game, your more dealing with the movers and shakers of the vampiric world....and of course those even older and more powerful than them.
I've been playing VtM since '96 and am well versed in all things vampire: legends, lore, infamous personas, etc, all of which will brought to bear on this game.
But I can't force you to play either, so I'll make you a deal: read along, and if at any point you decide this is a game you want in on, I'll make room for ya.

Revised Stats:
Talents - Dodge 0 - Expression 2 - Leadership 1
Disciplines Auspex 2
Merit - Common Sense
Monkeygod let me know if there is anything I need to change (besides editing the background with a final draft).
Thanks!
Firstly, the reason for Protean is just alright, but it does make some sense, so I'll allow it.
2nd: NYC was never under attack by the Sabbat, as it has been in my STPC's control for a long time before those attacks took place, and he is an ally of the Sabbat power running the US.
third base: I have some questions about certain elements of the background, but will ask them a little later. nothing bad, just clarification, n such.
ALSO: if you have an Attribute or Ability above 4, please pick a specialty. not only does this further flesh out your character, but it also grants 1 extra success on rolls with that stat.
@Kender: do you plan to expand your background? sounds interesting, but very sparse.

1) OK Cool,
2) In the Clan Novels I remember the Camarilla attacking the Sabbat and winning back NY, that was what I was referring to. I will change that in the background (in Canon Aisling Sturbridge a Tremere half my characters age is in commaned of the most powerful Chantry in the Tri-State area so his diminished status is still viable),
3) No problem. Once we flesh all of those out I will do a revision deleting the things that are not applicable in your game and adding detail where you request it,
4) OK. I Forgot about the Specialties.

RE number 2) yes, that did happen in canon, but I am not using that particular aspect of the novels.
Aisling Sturbridge is still there, in charge of the Chantry, but the city is in Moridin's control, my Assamite i mentioned in my OP.
one quick question: did you have anything in mind for what your Sire is up to in the east?
OH, i can be emailed at DMB1481@gmail.com if any questions need to be asked off the boards or in private.

I would call the character the outline. I agree much more detail would be nice, especially even his apparent age (age he was embraced) where in the states he was born, etc, did he change his name afterwards.......
Still a work in progress, good news is I have more time since we are waiting for some more PC's!

OK a bit more....
Edgar’s family moved around mostly in philledelphia, richmond, boston and Syracuse. Edgar’s father was a butcher. Living nearby Canada Edgar began picking up French on his own from people who spoke it. Recognizing his gift for languages his mother encouraged him to learn as much as he could….
Eventually Edgar Attended Syracuse University, Though he was working at dusty tomes he managed to meet a young lady 3 years his junior (Lenore) who was also attending the university, they began a relationship. Edgar often reading literature to her and expressing himself with others words.
Eventually Edgar graduated in 1940 obtaining his degree in translation and languages. Entered World War II (1939 to 1945) after graduation as a newly commissioned intelligence officer working in and around the interception of enemy communications. Lenore continued to attend classes eventually also graduating from the University in 1942…..
Question
How much of the character Lenore do you want me to create?
Do you want a full character sheet?
Do you want to use Wraith rules?
Monkeygod
I hope to get a general information/OOC discussion thread created tonite. Perhaps that will help entice a couple more players. If not, I can start the game with just you two, along with a storyteller PC if needed. Also I have no problem givintg this some more time as well...its only been up less than a week after all. And I can intro new characters later if people wanna jump in later.

I would definitely be interested, but I'm gonna need mor einformation as to the game background before I can give you a character concept.
I would like to play a Malkavian, that's all I can tell you for now.
E-mail me at animaezing@gmail.com with details.
I can whip up a character pretty quick, though I'm not familiar with the Elder rules, do you have a pointer as to where I can look?
I can put up my character sheet on http://sheetgen.dalines.net/, I've done it before, and you can look at it anytime.
Anyway, get back to me.

Elder rules are posted by me above, will email you later, though both the OP and OOC thread have some basic info for ya
