Rick eases back around the corner and waits for the two guards to finish their break. Once they have gone, he will move forward and examine the door they were at.

Rick:Surprise Test between you and the guards (you are effectively ambushing them, with the intent to close the distance between the time they turn their backs & when the door swings closed)
You lightfoot it around the corner, hanging back and making sure you don't accidentally scuff the concrete, kick a stray bottle, or otherwise telegraph your presence. You almost needn't have worried, as the Orks seem sluggish and almost uncaring. One almost spots you out of the corner of his eye as he turns to flick his cigarette into the bay, but the distance and poor lighting angle keeps you in the shadows.
Just as they turn their backs, you kick your adept reflexes into high gear and sprint the remaining 30m to the door. Running Test to gain 5 extra meters of movement 7d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 1, 3, 1, 3) = 18
Just shy of the distance needed, the door slides closed and latches.
If you're willing to spend Karma to reroll that check, we can revisit the result, otherwise, you're at the edge of the rear fire-escape door on the bay (north) side of the building, just after it closed and locked on you.
You do notice a plethora of cigarette butts, empty soybeer and soykaf cans, and sundry other pieces of detritus littering the floor just outside the door.

sh4m will see if Nabo's comm is one of the ones he found.
(Extended Data Search with Scan to detect the correct node, then same with Browse to find the right email/file on his node, if I read correctly.)

I would like to re-roll the attempt, if that is ok.
7d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 3, 2, 5, 5, 3) = 27 3 sucesses

Kinda figured you would. :)
Rewind, due to karma: Rick sprints the 30m distance like a shot from a cannon. Forgoing stealth in favor of speed, he manages to get his hand on the edge of the fire door, just before it fully closes.

Ok, back in the saddle!
sh4m: You realize the signal broadcasting from the white van is secured right away, and seems unusually strong for a simple commlink. It's definitely got a boosted Signal. The other 3 nodes seem to be of standard strength. You haven't noticed anyone trying to log onto your network, yet.In order to gain access to the node, you'll have to hack in (SR3 pg 230 & 235)
Rick: You have managed to gain access to the building, if you so choose. You can hear the two orks inside walking away from the door, chatting about how the night is going to pass.
Jak: Your watcher has found no trace of any awakened or magical signatures in the building.
Garus: You also found no trace of awakened beings or magical signatures on your astral recon, and are sleeping peacefully.
Shade & Salazar: The team has established a good perimeter, and has conducted pretty thorough astral recon. sh4m is in the process of evaluating/exploiting the technical side of the place. Rick has access for the moment, and is undetected. You both are still hanging out around the city (I assume travelling on Salazar's bike if you're going anywhere).
All:There's 3 hours left before the big show is supposed to go down, and activity in the area is starting to pick up. Several more gangers (all orks, with a couple of trolls) show up on bikes, roaring into the complex and parking on the west side. They are quickly shown in through the front pedestrian doors, with much fist-bumping and bro-hugging.
Shortly after, a black SUV rolls up with limo-tinted windows, rolling heavy on the suspension. Two obvious guards pop out, scan the area, before opening the back door and escorting a large ork into the building. Wearing bright red & yellow, with equally flamboyant hair, you lay eyes on the man himself, Nabo.
Rough count yields at least 12 orks and 3 trolls, as well as Nabo himself and whoever is in the white van broadcasting, plus the drones.
What do you do?
sh4m
Nabo is my target, so I will make a point to come back to the broadcast van, but start off with Nabo. Is his 'link in active or hidden mode? Assuming hidden, I'll put out another "detect node" extended check and plan on hacking his link as my next step.
8d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4, 3, 6, 5, 5, 5) = 32
8d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 5, 2, 5, 3, 5, 3) = 28
8d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 3, 2, 5, 6, 4, 2) = 26
8d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 2, 3, 1, 1, 3, 6) = 22
8d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 5, 4, 2, 6, 5, 2) = 33
8d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 1, 1, 4, 2, 6, 6) = 28

sh4m:After another sweep, you positively identify close to a dozen separate comm signals.
Most of the new signals are simple, low signal, off-the-shelf 'links. Half of them are broadcasting completely open, with PANs linked in a low order shared LAN. Nabo himself does not have an active signal, so far as you can tell.
The 3 moving nodes you guess are the recon drones, however, detach from the building and head up high. If you had to guess, someone's pinged onto something, and os gunning for a little look-see.
Adrik "Rick" Ivanov
Rick takes a quick look around, getting a better lay of the land, then goes into hiding. He will try to find the room where Nabo is going to be located and get hidden as near as possible.
sh4m
Shame, sh4m thinks, but of course it wouldn't be that easy. He sends a comm to the others: "Man's offline. Have to get our story with some old-fashioned journalism. Mean times, lay low, eyes wide open here."
Still time before the show. sh4m begins to watch the crowd gather, wandering here and there, taking footage and some stills "for the broadcast." He'll try to get some good shots of Nabo and anybody else who looks important, but keep a respectful low profile, more "journalist" than "paparazzo," at least until the crew and his badge arrive.

Rick: As you peek into the warehouse, you realize the back third of the building has been converted into a stage. Heavy curtains block the view to the front, and only the dim exit sign lights illuminate the backstage area. To the right, elevated about 3m off the floor of the warehouse, corrugated steel walls form a room with a single stairway leading up. The stairs lie on the south side of the "warehouse office." You can hear the thump of the amplifiers, hum of electronics, and a loud mix of talking, laughing, and movement.
Roll Infiltration
Random check
sh4m: The red star on the map is the "broadcast van". Your perceptive eyes catch glints of metal and leather under the door guards' clothes; they're packing heat, but carrying concealed for now. Concert goers are starting to arrive in dribs and drabs, and the street where "broadcast van" is parked quickly gets filled up with double- and triple-parked cars. The gangers running security don't seem to care much, but they are stopping anyone from passing the chain link fence yet.
Just to confirm, sh4m has a standard headware commlink, correct? No software upgrades or other modifications? Also, while the van has its own node, it appears there is a secondary one within the van itself, and that's the one doing the heavy-duty broadcast

Again, my apologies all.
Rick:You move with the grace of a ninja, securing a hiding spot easily enough among the gear, boxes, and detritus backstage. Only a few meters away, a pair of ork gangers stand at the base of the stairs leading up to the "warehouse office." Orks and a couple of trolls move about with some purpose, relaying texts, calling over headsets, and getting the show ready in earnest. No sign of Nabo yet, though.
sh4m: You notice the three mobile nodes are fully active now, flying in a circular pattern over the venue, while traffic from the van (and inside) quickly increases in both volume and level of data.
Everyone: Having passed the last few hours relatively uneventfully, the time has come. Tons of folks have shown up for the show, sporting everything from razor's edge new-age fashion to half-rotting leathers and a stink you can almost taste. However they look, though, noone gets through the chainlink fence or the front doors without getting magneto-wanded.
The hour has arrived, Nabo is scheduled to go on stage in about 30 minutes, and the crowd is HOT tonight. You'd guess somewhere on the order of 3000 people are packed into the warehouse area, WAY more than code should allow. The amp-stacks and opening DJ are bumping, and the air is thick with smoke, data streams, and anticipation.
After all this time, it's H-Hour! What do you do? Assume everyone has made it to the concert, only Rick is already inside. Everyone else is either waiting in line, approaching said line, or hanging out near Garus & Jak.
