SPLORCH!
Yanndu explodes Blue’s head! The brains, blood and skull fragments splatter all over Lady Kaddren’s pretty dress. “Ewwwwww!” she shouts, prestidigitating it clean as she tries to direct the crowd out of the Cathedral. “This is WHY I HATE Pathfinders!”
Myrdon topples the other cultists! “Noooooo! We are mighty masters of the Arcane! How can we get toppled by a lousy first level spell?” Orange wails as he falls down. Then he gets poked with a talon as Aegis attacks and grapples him. “GetItOffMe! GET IT OFF ME! Aaaaagh!”
Then Gunner continues to strike at the toppled Green! He hits twice and crits once!

Fortunately, Vashara, Eadie, Myrdon and Yanndu can just barely see her. She's almost out of sight!
A Chase Scene to follow... So we'll pause here to give me time to set it up.
| GM Hmm |
You all spill out of the Cathedral — and into a CHASE SCENE!
1. It takes a move action to move from card to card.
2. To move forward, you need to either pass the skill check or use something else (flight, teleport, d-door or some other fun ability to bypass it. When a character exits from a card, he must choose one of that square's two obstacles to face as a standard action before moving to the next card.
3. Instead of exiting a square, a character can choose to take another action not directly related to navigating the chase's course, such as casting a spell or drinking a potion.
4. A character may attempt to move three cards during his turn by taking a full-round action. That character must overcome both obstacles on the card he is leaving.
5. A character can also choose to make a ranged attack or cast a spell during his turn in a chase. In this case assume a distance of 30 feet from card to card.
6. Characters who have flight or teleport may entirely bypass land-based obstacles. Those who have higher than 30 foot movement speeds also have +2 on skill checks.
With this many casters, I am fairly sure that we are going to bypass the Chase Scene, but y’all might surprise me here.
____
The tiefling assassin is three cards away from you so has concealment (20% miss chance and cover.)
Between you and her are the following obstacles!
CARD ONE: Crowded Street:
Follow the Crowd (Sense Motive DC 15) or Out of My Way! (Overrun CMD 20)
CARD TWO: Cluttered Alleyway:
Up and Over (Acrobatics DC 10) or Squeeze Through (Escape Artist DC 20)
CARD THREE:Fruit Cart:
Oh Yeah! (Strength Check DC 20) or Move That Cart! (Intimidate DC 15)
What do you do?
Each of you may post your action!
Eadie Navhelan

Assuming haste is still in effect after only 3 rounds of use, even with her backpack equipped Eadie has a 40’ move speed ☞ +2 to skill checks
Believing that the casters will make short work of the chase, Eadie sees nothing to lose my adopting a high risk strategy in her pursuit of the assassin.
Eadie will try to move 3 cards forward, by attempting both checks on CARD ONE
Baffled as to which way to go as she exits the cathedral, Eadie moves with the panicked crowd, following Myrdon’s flight path through Magnimar’s narrow cobbled streets.
Sense Motive + haste DC 15: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 + 2 = 19
Eventually spotting her quarry, the warrior accelerates through her fellow runners, as if a herd of bulls is closing in on them from behind.
Overrun + haste DC 20: 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 15 + 2 = 25
Yanndu
|
In Round 1, Yanndu will cast fly on himself. Together with the haste, his speed is now 90 ft. I believe. He is also invisible for another 6 or 7 rounds.
Round 2 he will take a full round action to bypass the 3 land-based obstacle cards, if I understood the rules correctly...
Myrdon Gharthrin

With flying PCs, the chase is soon conquered! You fly after the assassin into the city streets of Magnimar!
The streets of Magnimar narrow here, and the crowds one expects of a city of this size are nowhere to be found. The ambient sound of the hustle and bustle seems to die away, leaving an eerie stillness in the air as though something terrible is about to happen.
The assassin, a female of devilish origin, spins around and sees your pursuit! She curses, a truly imaginative string of things your various mothers must have done to conceive you, and pulls a scroll from her belt!

Eadie tears into the assassin like a snow plow through a Volkswagen, while Vashara and Aegis II pepper and talon the body, for it's ceased to be anything you can properly call 'alive'. Myrdon's sonic scream falls on deaf ears, mainly because the ears in question are about twelve feet apart, lying on the cobbles and not doing anyone much good.
But alas, the Market bell has tolled and it has tolled for thee, assassin.
The foe is dead. To the north, a couple of cultists stop about thirty feet away and suddenly take a very deep interest in their own shoes and watches, as they see their charge is undone. One of them waves and shouts, "Sorry, wrong tier!" as they run away into the fray.
Despite being little more than fleshy bits at this moment, the assassin summons the power of plot and utters one last dying curse from the ground. "“For ten thousand years we have slept, awaiting this day. Think not that you shall take it from us. You and I are merely pawns in a far greater game with a far greater purpose. In the name of the mouthless mistress to whom all fates are known, I damn you and all your descendents! Lissala, take my spirit to pay for my vengeance!”
