She touches Tirrem and grants him a magic Ward.

Ward hex: +2 deflection to AC, +2 resistance to saving throws. Can only affect one target as a time, so Vulen no longer has it from earlier. There's no time limit - it'll expire when something overcomes it, by hitting Tirrem's AC or he misses a saving throw.

The hunter and his companion try to surround a beetle, but it's too quick and easily escapes the tiger's sharp teeth. Calpyso manages better though, and her hair wraps around the yellow spotted bug, crushing it, and leaving her hair covered in bug guts. Zoe calls on her ancestors again, this time to bless the party, while Torrel slings another bullet true, this one going right through the blue striped bettle and it quickly stops moving, save for several twitching legs. And with a mighty blow from his battle axe, Tirrem ends the threat of the beetle infestation, thought their bodies continue to glow.

Starting in the room to the right (D4), you do not see notice anything else besides what you saw when peering through the window. In fact, the blue haired gnome is still standing there flipping through books, paying no mind to you or the battle that just took place.

The next chamber (D2) contains enough chairs, pillows, and desks to accommodate at least six visitors. An examination of the table in the southwest corner reveals a neatly penned letter Handout 5, and underneath it is a hastily scrawled note in similar handwriting with nothing more than a name, Karina Clamp. You also find two vials on the window sill, one a faint blue and the other a milky white.

The group of Pathfinders venture back to the Shrine of the Fallen, and into the alcove dedicated to Plokkis with the hidden door. Using the small piece of chalk, Zoe writes wiffle on the chalkboard. The illusion covering the wall fades away and a magical portal appears, opening to the chamber beyond. It is a narrow, natural-looking stone tunnel that bends northwestward toward a dim light.

Knowledge Dungeoneering or Spellcraft DC 15:
Although the look and feel of the passageway seems natural, a careful study indicates it was actually created using Stone Shape spells.

In the small chamber beyond, several desks are arranged along the northern and eastern edges of this stone alcove. Whereas the stonework leading to this chamber is rough, the walls in the chamber are polished. A single gem rests among the neatly filed papers on the desks, emitting a soft luminescence that brightens the small room.

There is also a significant stack of papers on the desk, written primarily in Azlanti, and several have the glyph of the open road sketched on it. While you are unclear exactly what the papers contain, it is clearly a valuable find for the Society.
