This is the PFS #7-00 Sky Key Solution multi table special. Game play will commence 8/27 but the thread has been opened early for pre-game RP to get things started.

We are playing tier 1-2!

This game starts on August 27th and ends on October 11th - whether you fully succeed at your mission or not. Because of this, please be considerate of your fellow players at your table and at other tables. Try to make an effort to be posting every day. I haven't had the responses I was hoping for to gather recruits. Do any of you have anyone you want to add to the team before I open up recruitment? I'd like to minimally add at least one more player. I have two more invitations floating out there that I'm hoping to hear back on by tomorrow.

What exactly is the context of this shin-dig?

At long last, the Pathfinder Society has reassembled the Numerian device known as the Sky Key. Initial tests suggest it is capable of projecting a location’s past into the present, allowing Society agents to peruse books from destroyed libraries and speak with echoes of long-dead heroes. Now that it has perfected the Sky Key’s controls, the Pathfinder Society is prepared to extract a slice of Absalom’s history and bring it into the present; however, there’s no telling what might be waiting inside—or who in the present might wish to wield the same power.

Sapper makes things break. Preferably with loud explosions. Nothing is better to him than a well executed act of sabotage.

Crummy at melee. Excellent if the enemy stands next to one another.

Decent at range, solid damage in melee, but I'm easy to hit until I can afford better armor. I can also diplomasize though not particularly well, much better if the diplomacy is with demons.

Thanks for the information guys, this is mostly just to make sure I have it when we wrap up.

Day Jobs are something specific to PFS to cover income made during downtime. If you aren't familiar with the, grab the free Pathfinder Society Guild Guide which explains day job rolls (page 34 under downtime) and more. Things like Spoils of War and Purchasing Guidelines are also good to review.

A brief snippet from the guide:

During Downtime, you can attempt a trained Craft, Perform, or Profession check to see how much extra money you earn—this is called a Day Job check.

Basically you roll to earn extra gold at the end of the scenario.

GM: How large are these plinths? Can more than one person stand on one at the same time? Daisy wants to show off and try to jump onto it (even though stealth would probably be easier), but I don't want to crash into Sapper if there isn't enough room for both of us on one.

The plinth is 5x5, but there are 4 5x5 platforms around it. Only one person can be on the plinth at a time, but you can be adjacent to it to inspect it.

GM Tsadok's AC should be 18, I updated the body of the crunch when he got the agile breastplate but neglected to update the spoiler on his header. Leave the 3dmg

He has a MWK Agile Breastplate and 14 dex. Will update the spoiler now.

So we're falling a little behind pace with some of the other tables. I take full responsibility since I was out of town for a week and was limited in my responses. If for the next week or so we could try to make sure to pick up the pace a little bit and catch up it will benefit everyone.

What happens is that the overseer (GM Mars) releases new areas to the Pathfinders once so many victory points are accrued. The faster we open areas the more ground we can cover in the slotted time. There is a fixed amount of time for the game (much like a live PFS game) that we are allowed to accomplish all of our goals.

I'll try to make sure to check in more that once a day to facilitate us catching up. Thanks!

There were two potions, one with a Comprehend Languages effect and one potion of Tongues, right? The Tongues one should give the ability to both speak and understand the natives, I believe.

You're correct, there were two. For some reason I had thought it was just CL. Quaffing the second potion enables communication and still gets you to your goal, albeit faster. However it now will become extremely useful to possibly defuse this situation before it escalates.

How do people feel about using our Aid token for a healing burst? It would fix up the slaves we found, heal the last point of damage Kharina took in the first fight and get the token to another table to use.
