Let's try to get some information. Maybe we should try to speak to the port's captain, to find out where the Topaz Titan will stay.
Lukaas will wander the port with Periel, speaking with dockers, buying a few rounds of drinks at the local taverns, in honor of Cayden, chatting with his companion to learn more about his strange deity

Seeing that Lukaas has a slow start Periel will ask the bartender and offering a few silver as grease GI: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
I think we are in the wrong tavern. Lets find another one!!! This one AM.. .well it stinkts, yes it does!

Hours to Gather Info: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Gaeldrung, Lukaas and Periel spend an hour speaking with, well they attempt to speak with people to acquire information but either are given the cold shoulder when mentioning their target or people decline to know anything exactly.
Frans - K:L might tell you some likely spots to attack from, however, you don't really know when the attack is going to take place and thus it would require knowing everything about the current route of the ship.

Frans asks around from local riffraff, or what he assumes is local riffraff
"Where do you think the next attack will take place? Do you know the route of the Topaz?"

GM ShadowLord |

Frans isn't able to extract any information on the next attack or route of the Topaz unfortunately. However, he does run into a riffraff dock worker who claims he has some valuable information about some shady information in a nearby warehouse... " Shady folk have been paying locals in the Wharf District to keep quiet about anything they might see or hear, and some mercenary dockhands have found work hauling oddly-shaped cargo to what was thought to be a derelict building. Recently, some pirates paid dockworkers to look the other way as they led a gagged and blindfolded person from a large crate into a derelict warehouse on the edge of the Wharf District."
He looks left and right and says, "I'd feel more comfortable if I had some coin in my pocket for this information."

Lukaas gives a small smile, and a few gold coins to their source of information
You were the first one to be so talkative, so I guess you are very thirsty now... Here's something to help you pray to Cayden, and remove the parchedness off your tongue.

GM ShadowLord |

The mans eyes widen greatly and he readily takes the coins. He gives exact directions to the derelict warehouse. "Be careful, I hear they are a rough sort of type."
With a solid lead, the party heads towards the warehouse following the directions they were given. About twenty minutes later they arrive at what mistakenly is their location.
The foul, mucky weather is enough to make any possible source of refuge look at least a little more hospitable, but the tattered sides of this rundown building have clearly seen better days. The waterlogged boards that hold it up have numerous holes that have been boarded over with newer planks. The warehouse’s few windows are high off the ground and intermittently broken; those still intact are far too grimy to see through anyway. While the building itself hardly looks like a viable base of operations, a flicker of light can be seen from within. The east and west loading doors are closed, as well as the narrower south door, which has a sliding peep hole built into it at eye level.

Akvius cautiously wanders around the building looking for and alternate way to enter (for the element of surprise) or a large enough crack/hole in the wall planks to give a peek of the layout inside or any activity. Once he is satisfied, he will stop outsode the south door and wait for the rest of the party.
perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

GM ShadowLord |

Akvius finds no entrance but Gleek is able to find a loosened board on the southern side it could possibly squeeze through.
Frans determines that the loading doors to the east and west have been barred from the inside and it will take a moderate feat of strength to open them The southern door has a flimsy lock on it and it will take less effort than the loading doors but still a bit of strength to bust it open. It could possibly be picked as well.
If anyone is approaching either of the doors I need stealth checks for all those involved. Let me know which door and what your plan is.

GM ShadowLord |

The party moves into position on both the west and southern doors. While Akvius moves quite quietly, the other three members of the party are less than stealthy. Gaeldrung hangs back on the north of the warehouse, waiting.
I need strength or disable device checks on any types of doors you are trying in that fashion.

GM ShadowLord |

Lukaa's combined effort is the last bit of strength that was needed. The two men pull on the door and there is a loud SNAP as something that was barring the door from the inside breaks in half and falls to the ground noisily. The doors swing open revealing a large dilapidated warehouse full of crates, barrels and other storage containers. No one is in sight but a husky male voice sounds from somewhere in the distance, "Who's there!?"

Akvius turns to Frans and whispers excitedly, "It sounds like our companions have breached the door. Shall we join the party through this door? Think you can open it?"

GM ShadowLord |

I'm back!
The entire party moves through the west doors of the warehouse. Looking around they see that the warehouse is nearly twenty feet tall and nearly floor to ceiling crates piled high all around them.
After on response to their initial question several voices echo from the east, "Someone's broken in!"
"Get ready!"
Party is up, actions?

Akvius will follow Frans inside. And ready to evil eye hex 1st enemy that he sees.
hex = -2 AC, dc:15 will. fail=8 rounds. success=1 round.
"You DID say there were voices in here, right Frans?"

Gaeldrung stalks into the building now that the pretense of stealth had been abandoned. His ax is ready in his hand and his armor is gleaming. He shouts the Goumite challenge, Will you fight? into the emptiness.

His katana held lightly in his hands the aasimar subtly shifts into his battle form, gaining pure white fur and the strong but noble face of a hound, showing his ancestry

GM ShadowLord |

Low light, there are various holes in the ceiling that let some light filter through.
Will you fight?
"Get them!" shouts a man from the east behind the crates.
"No! Let them come to us!"
A woman shouts, "HELP! THERE IS FIVE OF THEM BA--" A loud crash sounds in the distance and the voice ceases suddenly.
"Damn b$*#& giving away our position and s*&%." complains a nasally sounding man.
"Shut up, you are talking too much!" a husky voice says in a firm tone.
