Hadjii
Hadjii completes his summoning spell:
Summon Nature's Ally II, from the level 1 list: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 augmented jackals appear!
They race in and attack:
right-facing jackal's bite attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
if AC 21 hits (AC 17 if he has to squeeze), then 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 points of damage
LF jackal's bite attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
if AC 18 hits, then 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 points of damage
upside-down jackal can't get in for a bite...
All bite damage is Bludgeoning / Piercing / Slashing, if that matters.
GM Pox
Ok round 3 recap.. Marius misses and Calla hits it with magic missiles..
Round 4 recap.. Marius misses and Calla also misses with Acid, Hadjii starts to summon some doggies..
Round 5 recap, so far.. Marius smacks it, Hadjii releases the hounds, 2 of which bite the thing hard.. Its looking pretty wooped at this point, but still attacks.. 1d3 ⇒ 3 A summoned dog..
1d20 ⇒ 6 and misses it..
Calla is up!
Hadjii
Hadjii will also call out from the hall (without looking into the room):
"Oh, Mr Bergan, I believe you should withdraw now, and let my little friends take all the bites from that thing!"
Calla Voni
Now that there are several conscious allies between her and the creature, Calla approaches and searches an opening to send another Acid Splash at the creature!
Touch Ray: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 3 - 4 = 17! Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Marius Bergan
Marius will back out of the room using the withdrawal action to allow the summoned dogs to get in and attack the snake.
Rajik Fireblood
Rajik will continue to stand and drool...
I think I have 1 more round.
GM Pox
The Acid damage does it in.. It crumples to the floor.. Now that yall have time to fully examine the room the heiroglyphs read:
Woe to you who would plunder the Reliquary of the Thrice-Divided Soul. Turn away, lest the harsh judgment of the Forgotten One fall upon you and your descendants for a thousand generations. Turn away, for his ka cannot be appeased and it shall call forth legions of the dead and the damned. Turn away, and may the All-Seeing Eye and the Lady of Graves take pity on you, for if not, the Forgotten Pharaoh shall consume you, body and soul.
A glyph of warding used to be on the door to this secret spot.. It was detonated recently.
“ka” is a term refering to one component of the ancient Osirian concept of the soul, which was divided into five parts. The ka contains a person’s “vital spark,” that which distinguishes the living from the dead.
Until recently, the room held a source of necromantic power of overwhelming strength. It orginates around the head of the Effigy.
With yalls no doubt serious searching of the room you find a few obvious things as well..
1-There is fresh blood on the floor in a few spots.. It's still tacky.
2-The Effigy is entirely covered with dust except the head portion.
3-Upon closer examination you see indentations on the chin and ear's, almost like something was supposed to be placed on it's head/face.
Actions?

Oh well, I tried.
Calla doesn't even lose time analyzing the Effigy. There was something on its face and someone stole it. "So let's find the tomb robbers."
"Can we follow the bloody tracks?"
Hadjii
Hadjii's Knowledge:Arcana check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Hadjii's Knowledge:Religion check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Hadjii don't know nuthin'...
Hadjii sends his summoned jackals into the room to the east -- restraining Bandit so the wolf doesn't follow them. He watches to see if they get splattered by some horrible trap...
After they vanish, Hadjii will also examine the bloody footprints, trying to determine how long ago the perp stumbled away from here:
Hadjii's Survival check: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Hadjii
I suppose my post from a few hours ago kinda conflicts with Hemket's post from a few hours ago: can we assume Hadjii went down to the first doors to the east as soon as he heard the beast had died, and opened 'em to let in his dogs in right then -- before the summons expired -- and outright tripped any trap on that door. Hemket then carefully checked the next door (or bars, as the case may be), to the south of Hadjii's position...
GM Pox
As you bust open the door a disentegration ray destroys you you see..
A large silver summoning circle is inlaid in the floor tiles near the center of this octagonal chamber. In the northeast corner of the room, a set of narrow steps leads up to a raised dais. A concave stone bench, almost a throne, perches atop the dais, flanked by two bronze braziers. Four columns carved in the form of fantastic creatures support the room’s vaulted ceiling.
The columns in the room are incredible examples of ancient sculpture. The column to the northeast depicts a beautiful, hawk-winged, succubuslike woman, while the southeast column is fashioned in the form of a feminine figure of billowing smoke or clouds crackling with electricity. The northwest column portrays a half-skeletal spellcaster of some kind, and the column to the southwest resembles a winged, angelic creature wearing a metallic mask.
The columns represent some of Nethys’s most favored servants. The hawk-winged woman is Yamasha, a master of conjuration and enchantment; the feminine cloud is Nethys’s herald, the Arcanotheign; the skeletal spellcaster is the powerful lich Takaral; and the angelic creature is the trumpet archon Bard.

And apprently just about everyone notices that 2 of the columns are actually not what they seem.. Know Arcana
As soon as the summoned puppies enter the room the two "not what thet seem" come to life and attack them!
Everyone but Bandit, Calla, and summoned pooches gets an action in the surprise round..

Surprise Round
Hemket is up!
Hemket
He will move up so there is no cover and take a shot at the one to the west.
to hit: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 damage: 1d8 + 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + (2) + 4 = 11 (assuming it can be dealt precision damage)
to confirm: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14 meh if enough crit damage: 2d8 + 8 ⇒ (2, 3) + 8 = 13
GM Pox
Hemket moves up and fires an arrow that does massive damage to the thing.. Regardless it move forwards to attack the summoned pets..
West: 1d20 ⇒ 8 Assuming a 15 is good vs FF Jackel
East: 2d20 ⇒ (9, 8) = 17
Damage West: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Damage East: 2d6 + 8 ⇒ (2, 5) + 8 = 15
Rajik, Marius, and Hadjii are up in the surprise!
Rajik Fireblood
Rajik moves forward and slices the east one with his falchion.

K. Religion: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Marius unable to do much just waits until the summoned dogs are gone.
GM Pox
Lol I dunno.. It hates u!
Rajik your strike goes true but when you hit the statue a horrible clang reverberates down the blade of your weapon and through your arms, rattling your teeth.. Your weapon takes 1 damage and now has the broken condition..
3d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 3) = 13
I had to read up on this as its the first time ive ever damaged a weapon.. Normal steel has hardness 10, +2 for being magical.. It has 10 Hp's +10 for every +1, so Rajik's +1 Falchion has Hardness 12 and 20Hp right? Normally the weapon has to be at 1/2 hps or less to gain the broken condition but the creatures special ability says if it takes any amount over its hardness it gains the broken condition..
Hadjii is up!
Hadjii
just before fading from existence, the terrified augmented Jackals piss a little on the floor...
Hadjii takes a 5' step back, pulls his scroll of Magic Fang, and casts the spell on Bandit -- now he's ready for round 1!
GM Pox
Again the arrow finds purchase, but does less than full damage..
Having a nice tactical advantage the 2 statues choose to pummel Rajik..

Slams: 4d20 ⇒ (20, 3, 16, 20) = 59 ouch..
Confirms: 2d20 ⇒ (2, 14) = 16 2 hits and a crit total on Rajik.. Yikes..
Damage: 4d6 + 16 ⇒ (6, 6, 5, 1) + 16 = 34 and Rajik is pummeled to the ground, bleeding.. -3 and bleeding.. That was not a wise place to move too :/
Rest of the team is up!
Init Order:
Hemket
Wierd Statues
Rajik
Marius
Hadjii
Bandit
Calla
Hadjii
Hadjii will stride past Hemket, readying his magical quarterstaff as he moves, and ends his move with his back to the west wall. Then he'll wave his weapon in the general direction of the statue Hemket has been shooting:
attack with +1 Quarterstaff: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
if AC 18 hits, then 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 points of damage...
Wanting his wolf's back to the wall as well, Hadjii indicates the space just north of him:
"Bandit! On me! Here!"
Bandit sidles up alongside Hadjii, cleverly tumbling through Hadjii's space to avoid an AoO:
BANDIT's Acrobatics check: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15 (maybe not...)
"Now, sic 'em!"
Bandit gnashes his magical teeth menacingly:
Bandit's bite attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 5 + 1 = 23
if AC 23 hits, then 1d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 1 = 9 points of damage
...*and* Bandit's TRIP attempt: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 1 = 25 vs CMD...
(Bandit is pretty good at tripping!)
GM Pox
Hadjii moves in and smacks it with his staff, but does no damage.. Bandit however does land a consierable bite and trips the statue to boot! But not before he takes a AoO for unwise movement..
AoO: 1d20 ⇒ 3 Miss..

Marius and Calla are up..
Calla Voni
Certain that these are stone golems and that direct magic will not work on them, Calla instead creates a this layer of Grease below the eastern creature, to trip it and possibly prevent it from coming after the group or Rajik.
"Grease!" DC 17 or Fall Goliath Fall Fall Goliath!"
GM Pox
1d20 ⇒ 9 The eastern statue falls on its backside from the grease..
Marius steps up taps Rajik with the wand o curing..
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 Puts Rajik to zero and stable..
Round 2
Hemket is up! Both enemies are prone..
Btw your durable arrows are being destroyed as they hit these things..
GM Pox
Hemket's arrow destroys the western statue.. Not having any intelligence the eastern one attempts to stand before attacking..
1d20 ⇒ 4 Which it fails at and falls on its ass again..
Rest of the party is up.. Marius will heal Rajik again..
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Awake he rages and power attacks the prone statue next to him.. He stays prone too btw..
1d20 + 10 - 5 ⇒ (15) + 10 - 5 = 20 and hits!
Damage: 1d10 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15 It cant overcome the weapons hardness so no point in rolling..
-17
Hadjii
The Hadj will charge the prone thing!
attack with +1 Quarterstaff: 1d20 + 3 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 4 + 2 = 10
but the d20 makes a mockery of his effort...
then Bandit circles around the prone bloodrager, and tries for a Magic Fang nibble:
Bandit's bite attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 1 + 4 = 25
for 1d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 1 = 8 points of damage!
Calla Voni
And Calla will attempt to hurt it with Acid!
Acid Splash: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (17) + 3 - 4 = 16! Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
GM Pox
The thing gets beats up on by the crew but lives on.. Calla's spell fizzles against it's naturally protected body..
"Round 3"
Hemket is up..
GM Pox
The thing is hit by the arrow, but still moves.. I swear eveything in the module has DR..
Also Hadjii i just noticed that you put Bandit into the grease..
1d20 ⇒ 7 But he stands just fine..
Again the stupid construct tries to stand.. Provoking from Hadjii, Bandit, and Rajik..
1d20 ⇒ 3 But the dam thing cannot seem to stand..
Rajik AoO: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 But he misses..
After the AoO's everyone is up again..
Calla Voni
Calla trusts you will destroy it, since she already made a wonderful job with her spell ^_^
Hadjii
Hadjii AoO on statue rising from prone, with +1 Quarterstaff: 1d20 + 3 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 3 + 4 = 27
crit confirm check: 1d20 + 3 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 3 + 4 = 26
for 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (2, 1) + 2 = 5 points of damage...
Bandit's AoO on statue rising from prone, with Magic Fang: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 5 + 1 + 4 = 26
for 1d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 1 = 8 points of damage
Marius Bergan
MArius heals Rajik once again using the infernal healing wand.
Calla Voni
Calla decides to act and moves up to get a better line of shot while drawing her crossbow, then shoots the creature!
+1 Light Crossbow!: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14! Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
GM Pox
With it prone an 11 will hit Hemket..
1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
The team goes to town on the thing and despite its toughness it cannot withstand the onslaught and is destroyed..
Combat Over!
After searching the room quite well the group stummbles upon a hiddy hole in the backside of the throne.. Inside you find..
A golden Scepter with a large Emerald cut into the shape of The All Seeing Eye set atop it. Its magical but taking 10 will not get it..
A sack of 100 platinum
A gold headband set with precious stones. Valued at 500gp(A)
After healing time etc.. Where too?
GM Pox
Alrighty.. Itll take some time for me to set that up, which gives yall time to identify the scepter and heal up..
Can one of yall put some casty types on the board for me plz? I cant add stuff to the dumb map at work..
And after looking at it if Calla takes 10 and Marius/Hadjii assist her she can get the item without rolling so..
This rod like instrument made of gold is covered in arcane symbols and has a large emerald cut in the shape of The All Seeing Eye affixed to the top of it..
It can be used as a divine focus for worshippers of Nethys in addition to it's powers.
It radiates a constant Bless effect in a 20' radius except that the bonus is +2. It confers this bonus only to allies of the wielder.
It can be used to cast Blessing of Fervor 1/day affecting up to 9 people for 9 rounds.
Finally it provides its wielder with a constant +5 bonus to Knowledge Arcana and Knowledge religion checks.
The rods caster level is 9th. It radiates high moderate magic. Its street value is in excess of 20k, possibly 25k..
Calla Voni
We were at a very close range anyway, almost melee...
Calla loves item!: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26
I'll do that on the map. I believe Marius is responsible for the healing but while he's gone each of us could worry about their own, marking the charges, right?
Calla Voni
"Well, this certainly looks like an item for you, Marius! Nethys is probably proud with you..."
Calla is full, so she is ready to go after making some notes about the room with the statues on her journal.
