@Kergrik: You are now being investigated for war crimes against cult-manity by PETA.
The demon, now surrounded by enemies (as well as potential minions and worshippers), takes a step back (to R23), and casts a spell.
"Puny mortals, you should be groveling before me and begging for your lives. Beg Mortals! I command you to beg for your lives. Grovel before me!"
I need will saves (vs. Enchant/Compulsion) from Kosz, Zaharin, & Aurelian, DC18, as some of you might feel like going prone as your only action next round.

Aurelian Fache |

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

Aurelian resists the strange sudden urge to follow the demon's bidding. "Non! I bend my 'ead only to Ze Eternal Rose, and 'er power is far greater zan yours, demon!"

GM Painlord |

@Zaharin, Kosz: On your next turn, you will free action drop prone. You may not stand up during your turn, but can do other stuff...like grovel before the demon, eat dirt, wish Kergrik had saved his crits for this guy, etc....
@Zaharin, Kosz: On your next turn, you may save again.

Saiai sized up the situation and decided to move quickly to stand over the fallen Kosz. She looked up at the demon as a strange wind began to circle out from around her, she was focusing her Ki and the strange wind began to pick up in speed. She felt lighter more buoyant, so she could avoid her opponents attacks.

"I see deamons are weak as usual, instead of proving yourself in combat. You show your weakness and force your opponents on their knees. I feel wretched sharing a demonic bloodline with the likes of weak creatures like you! So lets see you try and hit me you pathetic Cretin!" She kept Redeemer at her side as she prepared to block the horned demon's attack with one bracer protected forearm with her tail whipping dangerously.

Moving into position, Aurelian lashes out with his glaive, hoping to put the demon down before it can do anything to Kosz.
"Merde," he mutters as his attack fails to even hit the creature. "Shelyn, guide my hands.
Move to R24, then attack (I've got a reach weapon, so I *think* I get flanking, since I'm directly opposite Kosz/Saiai, even though I've got a hex between me and the demon, right?). If I need to be directly adjacent, I'll move to R23 and attack with my cold iron mace, instead (either way, it's a miss this round).
Attack with glaive+1, +2 for judgment, +4 for flanking: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (2) + 14 = 16

GM Painlord |

Already acted in my last post.
As you wish. You CAN do other actions while prone, you just can't stand up. Dropping prone is a free action. You have a move and a standard and if you wish to use them to bow and scrape to the almighty demon, I will accept that.
Feel free to change your action if you so choose.

Kosz Trumpeter |

Okay, I'll take an action. By the way, mechanically, Saiai and Kosz cannot occupy the same square as Kosz is not helpless. If they could, Saiai and Kosz would be squeezed and both take -4 to attacks and -4 to AC. The demon does not need any help hitting Kosz right now.
As Kosz lies prone at the demon's feet, he cries out, "Bask in Her glow, abyssal scum!"
At his words, a nimbus of light emanates from his prostate form infusing himself and his allies with holy power.
Power of Faith (Su) [emanation]: +1 AC, attacks, damage and saves vs. fear in a 30 ft. radius for 1 minute
Should affect everyone in the party save Kergrik, but he will be affected if he closes to within 30 ft of Kosz

The demon requests that the grovelers stay groveling.
@Kosz & Zaharin, will saves again to resist the command.
Kosz: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23 Will save vs. compulsion
Zaharin: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18 Will save vs. compulsion
You both can act normally on your turn.
The demon will 5' step to R22 and begin to introduce the brave Saiai to his claws: Rendface(R) & Rendflesh(L)

The demon, sensing weakness, tries to take a bite of delicious holy goodness:
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (9) + 16 = 25 Bite vs AC 30 Saiai
Then, failing to get a good bite out of Saiai, gives her the horn.
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17 Gore vs AC 30 Saiai

Saiai took her wounds in stride, at least she remained up and mobile unlike some of her comrades. The deamon had sadly had more luck landing blows then she had expected and now she had to fight back lest it brought her low as well.
She took a step back gave the Deamon a malicious smile as she brought Redeemer up and aim a cold iron arrow at the creatures vile chest. "Watch as I pierce your vile heart!" After firing the pair of arrows, she refocused her Ki and a strange wind howled around her once more.

@Saiai: Both arrows hit. Doing 'some' damage.
@Kergrik: I assume that you are 5' stepping closer to the demon with each pull and drink. Typical dwarf: won't move unless he's drinkin'...a pub crawl of empty potion bottles along the way.

@Zaharin: your bomb did minimal to the demon...he almost seemed to enjoy the fire.
@Kosz: your strike missed, but the fanning effect diminished the fire from Zaharin's bomb. The demon is pleased by your efforts.
@Saiai: You arrows both hit and do damage, though don't sink in as much as you would like. The demon wishes you were kabob'd on his horns.
@Aurelian: You hit him hard, but your glaive does not seem to do much damage.
Zaharin next, then the good guy.

Saiai no Kodomo |

I built the character with HeroLab and it tends to lump together bonuses... I will double check but I believe that it added my bows magical bonus + flurry + wisdom mod for being a zen archer. I appreciate you saying something though, because I have been wrong. xD
Also when I use point blank shot and deadly aim, they cancel each other out and your faith bonus gives me that extra +1 for 11. But I will double check =D

Kosz Trumpeter |

Thanks for pointing out that Hero Lab lumps things together. I went back and looked at your individual bonuses. +3 BAB, +5 WIS, +1 enhancement, +1 PBS, +3 Flurry, +1 Power of Faith, -1 Deadly Aim = +13
I think you have hit every time anyways, but it never hurts to double check. I nearly missed doubling my level in bonus damage on my first attack with smite evil.

GM Painlord |

@Zaharin: The demon is pleased, indeed.
On his turn, the demon about faces to those who would try to stab his back. He 5' steps to R23 and shares his talons, bite, and horns with the fleshy Aurelian.

Some demons can harvest souls to immediately heal themselves.

GM Painlord |

Wow, a round of whiffs and a strike that doesn't do as much as he had hoped.
@Kosz, your attack will miss regardless of flankage.
@Kergik: You also miss, but generate laughter from the demon who thinks they have an easy soul to devour.
@Aurelian: You strike solidly, but your blow does not do as much as you hoped.
@Zaharin: you aided. Gr. Command lasts until you save, I believe...or so I rule here. Once the save is made, the effect is ended.
The Demon is up:
He looks as the weakened and bloody Kergrik and says words of power, trying to bind Kergrik's soul to his.
Kergrik: DC 18 Will save, please. This is an enchantment/compulsion effect.
He then 5' steps toward Kosz and attacks:

1d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 damage.
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19 to hit, Rendflesh;
1d8 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 damage.
And a bite:
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18 to hit, Rendflesh;

And a gore:
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21 to hit, Rendflesh;

Well then ok.”
