Kargen Hapspring

Well, I'm here. And Kargen isn't designed for using his spells in anything but a self-buff or minor support role. Maybe we just kill, smash everything up front?
Edit: Though Kargen can re-memorize his spell to have more crowd control ability. Daze and Ear-Piercing Scream come to mind, though the DCs will be low.

A short Discription of Griffo for the other players.
Griffo is a studious looking Halfling with short curly brown hair and side burns. Bright green eyes look through round spectacles with a thin wire frame. He wears a light green cloak, with deep pockets, trimmed with yellow. The cloaks hood is long and pointed with a yellow tassel hanging from the point. A wide brown leather belt circles his waist on the outside of the cloak holding a pouch and a leather scroll case, both comically large against his small body.

Halfling about to shake the noble woman's hand vigorously in 3... 2... 1... Lol.
I'll resist and give Luther a chance to endear himself.

GrandmasterTorch mentioned the mountains having colder weather in some parts. It might be nothing but Griffo likes to be comfortable... Hence the plentiful rations and the mount so he doesn't have to walk for eight days.

I have a wand of Infernal Healing as well. It's not as instantaneous as CLW but for out of combat healing its a guaranteed 10HP...

My first Pathfinder society experience was a face to face game where I was told I'd read to much Goblins (The comic by Tarol Hunt). Apparently monsters don't have feelings. Which I don't see reflected in the scenario's I've played. This did look like the kind of encounter where you could talk instead of fight.

I think Goblins (the comic) did affect me in the way I run my home games. I don't recall the last time I've thrown goblins out to my players going "They're pure evil". Generally, they're either looking for food or smarter than anyone gives them credit for. More than one goblin adventurer has been seen in my games (a 4th ed. goblin fighter named Grek Wolfslayer and a PF warrior goblin called Kills-Many who was the last one standing after PCs started a disastrous raid on their camp).
I agree that you should have been able to talk through that one, but the rewards specified that the kobold had to be "defeated" and her morale was to "fight to the death".
