Pathfinder recruit Kurth reporting for duty, sir.
Half Orc Rogue 1
Male Human Cleric
Luthor is ready. I'll be out of town until Monday though GM
Male Human (Keleshite) Fighter (Polearm Master) 1
I've opened up the gameplay thread. Just in time too, it seems.
Half Orc Rogue 1
Is this party a little front line heavy? I'd like to whip up a wizard if that's ok Henry?
Yeah, we've now got 2 fighters and a barbarian. Even if Kargen doesn't join, some arcaniness might be needed.
Half Orc Rogue 1
Cool I'll get on it. Despite being a rogue Róka is designed as a heavy hitter...
Yeah, we don't need that much melee.
Male Human Inquisitor of Erastil 9 [hp 69/69; F+11, R+12, W+11 (+2 vs. charms); AC 22/15/17; Init +7, Perception +14, Sense Motive +16]
Well, I'm here. And Kargen isn't designed for using his spells in anything but a self-buff or minor support role. Maybe we just kill, smash everything up front?
Edit: Though Kargen can re-memorize his spell to have more crowd control ability. Daze and Ear-Piercing Scream come to mind, though the DCs will be low.
Ok here's Griffo, a Halfling Conjuror. No# 43196-4.
Male Human (Keleshite) Fighter (Polearm Master) 1
I meant to ask before- what's the target posting pace for this scenario?
I prefer at least once a day. I understand if life gets in the way. Last session took a little longer than it should have.
A short Discription of Griffo for the other players.
Griffo is a studious looking Halfling with short curly brown hair and side burns. Bright green eyes look through round spectacles with a thin wire frame. He wears a light green cloak, with deep pockets, trimmed with yellow. The cloaks hood is long and pointed with a yellow tassel hanging from the point. A wide brown leather belt circles his waist on the outside of the cloak holding a pouch and a leather scroll case, both comically large against his small body.
Anyone else have questions for Dreng?

Apologies, I missed that the gameplay thread was open. I'm in now.
Aha! Aaaand I'm waiting for Luthor.
Halfling about to shake the noble woman's hand vigorously in 3... 2... 1... Lol.
I'll resist and give Luther a chance to endear himself.
If Luthor doesn't post by tomorrow afternoon, I'll let you shake Gloriana's hand, Griffo :)
I'd best buy a cold weather outfit too. I don't fancy making the DCs without one. :)
Aaaand I'm still waiting for Luthor. *sigh*

Do we know if those mountains are cold?
GrandmasterTorch mentioned the mountains having colder weather in some parts. It might be nothing but Griffo likes to be comfortable... Hence the plentiful rations and the mount so he doesn't have to walk for eight days.

I just realized we still have to take a boat from Pier's End to Escadar. So ship travel after all.
As much as I hate to do so, you guys are ready to go and Luthor hasn't posted in 5 days. So, I'm going to drop Luthor from the group. Instead of recruiting and probably not getting a cleric, I'm going to fiddle with my PFS character so that we have a dedicated healer.
Well...I know Kurth has a wand of clw, so if you guys are okay with four, we'll just move along.
I have a wand of Infernal Healing as well. It's not as instantaneous as CLW but for out of combat healing its a guaranteed 10HP...

Kargen also have a Wand of CLW.

Yes, Kurth has a wand - but he doesn't know how to use it.
Does anyone have ranks in UMD?

Not needed. Kargen has the spell on his spell list, so he can use any wand of CLW. Just pass it to him and he'll heal you. As long as he isn't the one dying.
My apartment got broken into last night while I was at work. Might be a while before I post. Gotta do security stuff.
Dang! That sux! I hope they didn't nick anything irreplaceable. Hope they get tracked down and locked up too!
Just the tv and the laptop. Got the tv replaced already.

There's a funny story about that, but the short answer is 'no'.
Of all the things that could happen, my desktop died after 8 years of service, I'm gonna have to put the game on hold until we can get another computer on Friday since I can't access the pdf for this session on my PS3. Hopefully, I'll be back on by next weekend.
Update: got the desktop to work again, just don't know for how long.

I'm heading to Ireland for a week or so. Not sure if I will have decent internet access so I may not be posting for a while. Feel free to drive my character as needed.
We'll see how it goes. Have fun and a safe trip.

Too bad I can't change my avatar name to "Kurth the Kobold Friend" anymore.
I just can't help but feel sorry for these poor pathetic creatures
I think Paizo is koboldophobic.
My first Pathfinder society experience was a face to face game where I was told I'd read to much Goblins (The comic by Tarol Hunt). Apparently monsters don't have feelings. Which I don't see reflected in the scenario's I've played. This did look like the kind of encounter where you could talk instead of fight.
I think Goblins (the comic) did affect me in the way I run my home games. I don't recall the last time I've thrown goblins out to my players going "They're pure evil". Generally, they're either looking for food or smarter than anyone gives them credit for. More than one goblin adventurer has been seen in my games (a 4th ed. goblin fighter named Grek Wolfslayer and a PF warrior goblin called Kills-Many who was the last one standing after PCs started a disastrous raid on their camp).
I agree that you should have been able to talk through that one, but the rewards specified that the kobold had to be "defeated" and her morale was to "fight to the death".
M Human (Kellid) Barbarian 4
Unfortunately, that's a recurring theme in official pathfinder adventures: a lot of NPCs (kobold or not) attack you on sight and fight till death. And you only find out about their elaborate backstory through a letter that is lying around somewhere.
