Poulain
GMEDWIN
The party makes its way into the jungle cave upon entering the cave you find that it is extremely dark and moist with moss growing around the edges of the entrance. The temperature is a bout 15 degrees colder than outside and you get a chill up your spine. You see stumps where stalagmites had formed but have been broken off. After two feet the cave you enter into a cylindrical room, where you hear the soft trickle of drops of water from the ceiling, tap, tap, tap.

Poulain
Bull Mastiffs stand about two feet at the shoulders and weigh around 120 pounds, though some males often reach 150 pounds. They typically have white, tan or brown coats, sometimes with a white splotch on the chest.
Yoshi
Angelo Carvesan
Angelo takes in the information from Yoshiyaru and Poulain quietly, 'It is good to see professionals at work.'
"If there are rats in the walls, maybe we should wall them in, or make them uncomfortable, before they come to greet us?" Angelo takes a moment to remove his tarpaulin from his pack, wad it up, and fill the hole that Yoshiyaru indicates.
Yoshiyaru
So Angelo stuffed his tarp in the hole in the wall, correct?
As half-elves have low-light vision, Yoshi will go first until it's too dark for him to see. If someone else lights the area up, he's fine with that.
Otherwise, when it's too dark, he'll cast dancing lights and send them up ahead.
Yoshiyaru
"Very well," replied Yoshi, casting a minor spell that caused four lantern-sized and colored lights manifest.
Cast the dancing lights cantrip.
They bobbed ahead of the group about 30 feet, illuminating the way.

any descriptive text on that Edwin? What on earth is a charau-ka and what does it look/sound like? I did kinda get that they're very net-inclined folk. Two arms or 4?
wait - got 'em.. charau-ka - chimpanzee-lookin' ape-man things. What ties you up when you're not looking close. roger, check.

they were stealthed, I wanted to get the post done before my new roomie moved in and/or my computer died on me again... two handed
Whilst the majority of you were concentrating on moving forward the limber monkey creatures that walk like men, sneakily enter the cave from whence you came and throw nets on Corvus, Mem'basi and Angelo and as well tie Angelo up.
Yoshi's turn
Yoshiyaru
Seeing the monkey-like creatures attack, Yoshi summoned arcane power to swiftly magnify the enchantment upon his sword.
He then cast a spell that limned his blade with electricity before stepping up to one of the creatures that entangled Angelo to attack.
Swift action to use a point from Arcane Pool to boost his sword.
Spellstrike to cast shocking grasp, 5-foot step, followed by Spell Combat.
The half-elven magus made two attacks against the creature that entangled Angelo.
1st (free) Attack w/ Spell Combat: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
If a hit, then Damage = 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 physical and 4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 4, 4) = 14 electricity.
2nd Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
If a hit, then Damage = 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 physical.
NOTE: If first attack misses, but second attack hits, add the electricity damage from above.
Yoshi still has bull's strength and shield active. Use AC in parenthesis. :)

Ck druid casts guidance on the bull mastiff
Yoshiyaru
"Oni's breath!" exclaimed Yoshi as the stones struck him in the chest, staggering him.
The half-elf moved over to the stocky bull mastiff and attacked it while holding his falcata in a two-handed grip for extra power.
Move to bull mastiff. Attack (2H) w/ Falcata: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
If a hit, then Damage: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
Corvus Albus RQ
Whilst entangled, Corvus' DEX drops by 4. This means an INIT of just +1 at present. Also AC reduced to 16 and combat reduced
Corvus manages to pull out her sword, despite the restrictions of the net and swings wildly.

Knowledge(Religion): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Putting two and two together, Angelo believes that these are worshipers of the demon lord of apes, Angazhan, and that the statue outside is an icon to that demon lord. From his own experiences with demon worshipers in the Mwangi with followers of Zura, Angelo knows the language and the type.
Angelo looks at the druid, and commands in Abyssal "Fall to your knees!"
At the same time, Angelo attempts to avoid any blows sent his way.

Mem'basi
The druid was furious with the net entangling him. He called to his leopard and pointed to the monkey-man holding the other end of his net.
"Zimba, help me here. Attack!"
As if on queue, the leopard pounced on the charau-ka who was busy attending to Mem'basi.

assuming it's hit since this particular guy is busy trying to entangle Mem'basi
With the other side of the net going slack thanks to Zimba, it was easy for the druid to take the net off of him. He then attacked.
assuming move action to remove 'slack' net and standard action to attack

power attack, spear to hit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
power attack, spear damage: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
a little complicated combat here that would really benefit from a map and a status report on how hurt the enemy is
GMEDWIN
whatever happened to surprise?
Just waiting on Poulain's choice of target.
Zimba attacks the Charau-ka holding Mem'basi's net and through a lethal combination of attack slashes him into a bloody mess.
Mem'basi spends his turn removing the net from his body. there is not anyone within striking distance of his spear. If I have the time I may make a map.
GMEDWIN
Poulain's (I don't what weapon he used) attack mangles the dog in an obscene lot of fury and aggression.
Charau-Ka 1 attempts to escape his net DC 15 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10, he is still entangled.

Yoshi, Angelo, Corvus, Poulain, Mem'basi, Charau-ka
Yoshiyaru
Yoshiyaru gritted his teeth against the pain of the druid's attack.
Maintaining his two-handed grip, the magus switched from the dog (which looked to be finished) to the Charau-Ka attacking him.

Angelo Carvesan
Though still tied and prone, Angelo attempts to aid Corvus from succumbing to the same fate. Looking at the Chaura-Ka attacking Corvus, he commands it in Polyglot, "Flee lest you be struck down like your vaunted guard dog!"

<sigh> The druid was a long shot. But the second one is one lucky little monkey...
Mem'basi
not sure it's my turn but use when it is
Seeing Angelo still trapped, Coruvus entangled and on the ground and Yoshi hurt was not good. The only bright side was that a couple of the monkey men had already been brought down.
The druid yelled to leopard, "Zimba, to me!" and started the tedious work of killing off the enemy, one at a time if need be.

Mem'basi
@Mem'basi, if you proceed with your action, either Zimba or you will incur an AoO. Because you are both in melee with two different characters.
It's kind of hard to know without a map, which I guess you didn't find the time to make. In any case, Mem'basi called Zimba so have the leopard take the AoO.
Corvus Albus RQ
It's difficult to plan exactly what to do as I'm not 100% sure who is where. I presume one of the creatures is close, so attempting to get up will attract an attack of opportunity
Corvus remains prone, biding her time - waiting for the opportunity to look to get up and disentangle herself.
Jean-Phillipe Poulain
(Guys, I know I post out of order sometimes, sorry about that. I just have specific random times I can post, and I'd rather write early than not at all.)
GMEDWIN
About the posting order, I am not too worried. I just post results in order because, well one thing would happen before the other. About maps, I am not an artist and pretty busy at work. Please just think with me... Use your imagination or something. :)
Corvus I guess delays...
Poulain attempts to shoot his bow between the Monkeyman in front of him to hit the druid but misses.
Zimba moves first, Charau-ka AoO on Zimba with the club 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18 damage 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 and bite 1d20 ⇒ 11 and misses.
The combination of Zimba and Mem'bazi injures Charau-ka 7 but he is still standing.
Charau-ka 1 attempts to get free 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18 and manages to escape his own net.
CK 2 moves to flank Zimba and attacks with his club 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 5 + 2 = 24 damage 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

CK 6 moves to attack Zimba 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 damage 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
CK 7 attacks Mem'basi 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 5 + 1 = 15 misses and bites 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10 misses.
Yoshiyaru
@ GMEDWIN - I'm okay w/ no maps. That's how we played back in 2e.
Just some clarifications: Is CK 5 still alive? (You're description sounded as if he's dead.)
If CK 5 is dead, then who is CK 3 flanking with? I don't mind being flanked, I just want to know who I'm facing. :)
It is the CK Druid's turn before mine, correct?
GMEDWIN
CK 5 is dead, just a copy and paste error :) Yup, I came from 2e myself as well, now we dont use maps in PF, mostly cuz we meet in the bar, less stuff to lose... :)
Round 3
Druid attacks Yoshi with her magic stone 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 1 = 12 misses...
Yoshi, Angelo, Corvus, Poulain, Mem'basi, Charau-ka
Yoshiyaru
Yoshi turned from the Charau-ka he had slain with a single strike to give the new one a feral smile.
"You're turn, monkey-man," he snarled in Polyglot.
Attack Charau-Ka #3 (2H) w/ Falcata: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
