I will just go get Remove Curse. It seems like it would be a handy thing to have anyway. I have a Blessed Book, so scribbling it in is free, and it will only take four hours. We're going to be resting for a while.
Salrann
That sounds like a decent idea. If you can procure remove curse and prepare one for each of us, I'll prepare a remove disease for each of us and we should be able to take care of it.

@Everyone: Mind if sell that tome and get Alathos' shopping list? I think those items would be hand to have. That also solves the issue of where Eden is going to find a source to copy the Remove Curse from.
@Choon: Here's how I would break it down.
1) Eden leaves maybe thirty minutes or so after the disease set in.
2) She sells the tome in a major Taldoran city and buys everything on the list. That might take a few hours. Let's say five most.
3) Since she never used her bonded item to cast Break Enchantment, Eden uses her bonded item to cast a second teleport back to the entrance of the necropolis.
4) She will need about four hours to put Remove Curse in her book. As far as I know, it will not cost anything because she has a Blessed Book. She can do this back in the Mage's Mansion.
5) Using her Ring of Sustenance, she takes about three hours to rest and prepare her spells.
I think we're looking at twelve and half hours since the disease kicked in? Maybe less if her shopping does not take as long as initially planned.
As for getting Remove Curse, she will probably copy it over to her book from one of those scrolls.
This well-made tome is always of small size, typically no more than 12 inches tall, 8 inches wide, and 1 inch thick. All such books are durable, waterproof, bound with iron overlaid with silver, and locked.A wizard can fill the 1,000 pages of a blessed book with spells without paying the material cost. This book is never found as randomly generated treasure with spells already inscribed in it.
Salrann
Sounds reasonable to me. Don't forget to prep some type of spell to make breaking out of the sarcophagus easy for you. It would be terrible if we had to come back and break you out of that after several hours. LOL

You conjure up an extradimensional dwelling that has a single entrance on the plane from which the spell was cast. The entry point looks like a faint shimmering in the air that is 4 feet wide and 8 feet high. Only those you designate may enter the mansion, and the portal is shut and made invisible behind you when you enter. You may open it again from your own side at will. Once observers have passed beyond the entrance, they are in a magnificent foyer with numerous chambers beyond. The atmosphere is clean, fresh, and warm.
You can create any floor plan you desire to the limit of the spell's effect. The place is furnished and contains sufficient foodstuffs to serve a nine-course banquet to a dozen people per caster level. A staff of near-transparent servants (as many as two per caster level), liveried and obedient, wait upon all who enter. The servants function as unseen servant spells except that they are visible and can go anywhere in the mansion.
Since the place can be entered only through its special portal, outside conditions do not affect the mansion, nor do conditions inside it pass to the plane beyond.
Sorry for retreating. This is probably the only option to definitely keep Eden alive. She almost perished this round had I failed the reflex save. She's invisible right now, and her Iron Circlet makes her undetectable to every divination spell short of the almighty Discern Location, so...
1) Even if she took out the devil with Persistent Baleful Polymorph/Disintegrate, then the coldness of the room and the Wall of Ice kills her this round.
2) If the devil survives the next round and ices the room again, then she probably dies between that and the coldness.
3) If she goes under 0 HP, then Eden does have a contingency that would take her to a place of safety, but she's still invisible for another minute and highly hard to detect.
4) The coldness of the room and Wall get her faster than Infernal Heal would heal her.
Since nothing in the game can get inside the mansion unless Eden allows it and the outside environment specifically does not affect the inside, she can catch her breath and then return to help once she has some HP back.

This is one of my favorite UE additions to the game...
Ring of Energy Shroud
Aura strong abjuration; CL 13
Slot ring; Price 19,500 gp; Weight —
Description A ring of energy shroud always appears to be glass or crystal in construction, tinted in a red, green, blue, or yellow hue. Closer inspection reveals a small band of metal within the glass or crystal. Treasured by frontline fighters and anyone with a trusted evoker ally, rings of energy shroud normally function as a minor ring of energy resistance. However, once per day as an immediate action, the ring’s wearer can negate the damage of an incoming acid, cold, electricity, or fire energy effect for himself (but not for other creatures affected by the spell or effect), transforming that damage into a shroud of energy that wreathes the wearer’s body acting as if under the effects of the elemental aura spell. The elemental aura effect has the same energy type of the damage negated.
Construction RequirementsForge Ring, elemental aura, resist energy; Cost 9,750 gp.

Area Dispel: When greater dispel magic is used in this way, the spell affects everything within a 20-foot-radius burst. Roll one dispel check and apply that check to each creature in the area, as if targeted by dispel magic. For each object within the area that is the target of one or more spells, apply the dispel check as with creatures. Magic items are not affected by an area dispel. For each ongoing area or effect spell whose point of origin is within the area of the greater dispel magic spell, apply the dispel check to dispel the spell. For each ongoing spell whose area overlaps that of the greater dispel magic spell, apply the dispel check to end the effect, but only within the overlapping area.
If an object or creature that is the effect of an ongoing spell (such as a monster summoned by summon monster) is in the area, apply the dispel check to end the spell that conjured that object or creature (returning it whence it came) in addition to attempting to dispel one spell targeting the creature or object.
You may choose to automatically succeed on dispel checks against any spell that you have cast.
I missed the last line initially. As such, the Slow spell would basically be gone because Eden had the means to neutralize it easily. However, since the command was specifically to get rid of the Slow spell and nothing else, then I believe that Eden would let anything else of hers stay unless the Greater Dispel Magic just flatly canceled it.

Just a heads up. I'm going to be away on a family vacation from 12/27/2014 to 1/4/2015 with no computer access. As such, NPC Eden as necessary. If the next turn doesn't roll around before I leave, then she is just going to throw up another Slow.
Also, I just realized that I forgot to roll against the Bone Devils' SR, but since the average Bone Devil has a 20 SR, Eden's mod to beat SR is +20, and there are automatic failures/successes for SR rolls, she automatically overcomes it.

By the way, it seems this campaign is coming to a close soon. Choon, would you be interested in continuing with another module or running another game? I have very much enjoyed this game and you are a great GM.
Salrann
I'd like to continue with these characters, as they've been tons of fun. I'm not terribly familiar with higher-level modules, though. I'll take some time today and see what I can find.
Salrann
I have a physical copy of the Moonscar that I'd be happy to scan and send to you so that you could run it. It's for 16th-level. Or, I assume you have Witchwar, which I would also be happy to play in at 17th level. In either case we'd have to level up a little bit but I have no issue with that. :)

Maybe some down-time between as all of these characters are tremendously interesting in role-playing scenarios and I could see this group causing mischief in nearly any location.
Honestly Salarann and I are nearly iconic embodiments of nature vs nature, and conjure images of the struggle of life. On the other hand Alathos and Eden can pass for some kind of Royalty.
I also have this portable hole/library thing that we might keep or sell.
Eden Kenway
I should mention now that I am playing through a couple of those higher level modules. If that isn't a problem for you, then I am up for doing them (being PbP, they might not pan out). I would love to use Eden again.

Awesome, time to go back and tally loot and stuff.
I will work on going back and tallying up all the loot we have taken from the dungeon so far. Feel free to help if you would like. Please add where we got the loot in the notes for reference.

Well, that was a lot easier to tally than I thought. It was mostly in big chunks. We left a lot of it behind, but I don't see why we couldn't recover it. We should talk this idea over in game at the end.
