Whoops. For some reason, I put Eden's caster level for Greater False life as +16. That is incorrect; it should be +14. So I got 29 Temporary HP.

Yea, Salrann had given me an assist, but with his -1 str Alathos would have know he is not suited to lifting heavy things

Unfortunately I have zero chance of using the disable device skill to by-pass the magical trap, though I may have to use a variety of other things to get rid of it.

Short of dispelling it and or using dust of dryness on it, I don't know how it will turn out.....

I wasn't aware you couldn't handle magical traps. That'll be important for youall. Therefore, I'll say you can with the use of Spellcraft/ detect magic and the like. Congrats. :)

Edit: I will, however increase the chance and severity of failure on a botched attempt slightly (not too much), as you don't really know what you're doing.

Would Dispel Magic be a good alternative counter for magical traps?

If you know it's there and know its source point and succeed on the check I don't see why not, though it probably isn't RAW.

As a heads-up, my wife could go into labor with our first baby girl any day now, so when that happens I'll post here and let you all know, and then for at least 2-3 days I'll have VERY limited posting.

Casting the spell will take one minute. The +1 bonus comes from Eden's Otherworldly Kimono. It should be +4, but the spell caps at +15 total.

That bolded line is a bit vague. Do I need to roll a check for everyone because each character's curse is its own effect, or does the curse count as one effect that I'm telling the spell to break for everyone?

That part's the important part. The two spells given before are specifically mentioned as required to purify yourselves.

Salrann has the Remove Disease portion, but no one seems to have Remove Curse.

Well then, I won't make this overly complicated. Break Enchant will work, but you'll have to re-cast it for two. Below a 20 just wont work. :)

Yeah, that one thing about not having a Cleric or Oracle... there are certain healing-type spells that we just don't have access to unfortunately.
