Once everyone is here and introductions have been made we will get down to the business of combining this thing, figuring out where we are starting and so on and so forth, Please remember to bring along all your loot from the previous game as I will be allowing you all to combine it ALL into one big loot cache, Also, if you want to make any changes to your characters, now is a good time to do so..

You mean like a complete overhaul? or just purchases and such?

It has been awhile--happens--and I have gain a lot of experience playing in like 7 PFS games with 2 different characters.

I was a green rookie when we started this one.

If given the opportunity I would make all changes to Bedlam.

Or I can keep him. I like him, but I wouldn't make him for P-b-P.

Good to have you back, BBM! We are starting a new campaign on the 17th in my home group. We still could use a player!

Oh this should be a treat. A fellow dwarf to keep some level headedness to the party and scold Karl for his improper ways.


Make whatever changes you feel necessary..I'm open to all, just make sure they are reflected in your stats at the top of you posts,keep the characters personalities and back stories the same though... and If you didn't live 3 hours away, Id love to join..my Sunday afternoon game kind of fell apart because of everyone's work schedules and such changing...I now work Every weekend, and the other guys does too, Im on first and he is on second, and the third guys custody schedule changes all the time so his kids are there when our kids aren't and it was just a mess..lol

@BBM That sounds rough, hope everything works out well for you.

I think I'll take you up on that offer, I think I am going to change Karl's crunch...I just wish the cad archtype had access to the normal fighter skills in addition to its new skills, or let the new skills replace some of the old...I mean look at what I have to deal with:

Fighter Skills:

Climb (Str), Craft (Int), Handle Animal (Cha), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (dungeoneering) (Int), Knowledge (engineering) (Int), Profession (Wis), Ride (Dex), Survival (Wis), and Swim (Str).

Cad Skills:

Acrobatics (Dex), Bluff (Cha), Escape Artist (Dex), Sleight of Hand (Dex), and Stealth (Dex)

Honestly I feel like I've been cheated! But sigh I just love the Cad archetype, so I guess I'll just have to live with it.

LOL, I am always a Cad at heart, anyway I think I'll stick to the archetype and see where I can go with it, for now I'll give the crunch a review and see where I can make some changes.

Yeah, i just reviewed Bedlam and I really don't think that he needs any changes.

I just have an urge to try a Bard for some reason.
I will probably make one for our home group campaign.

Alright, introductions: hello everyone, this is Karl an evil, scheming, cynical, professional and vengeful Cad who enjoys punting small and helpless creatures(just kidding about that last part). I haven't had the honor of playing with any of you before, except Sacerdos(Waves at Sacerdos). Now I just want to make one thing very clear to everyone. Karl is neutral evil but that doesn't mean he's out to back stab the party or work against them, on the contrary he probably wants them to succeed in what they are doing so he can get what he wants, I mean wouldn't you find it stupid and counter productive to actually try to betray a cadre of armed individuals that could very well gang up on you and make you pay dearly for what you have done? That's why Karl is neutral evil, not stupid evil lol.


alright folks we will give it a couple days for everyone to get here and check in, then we will get going..I think this is going to work out well!!..


Loupe Ardoc, of the Kaer Maga Ardocs.

Loyal, proud and vengeful he embodies his family; the Ardocs are a proud family and Loupe grew up with his uncles being the law. He's got strong - if unusual - ideas of right and wrong, and a tendency to like violent revenge.

Loupe is a journeyman golemcrafter, a smith and a wizard.
A love of making things combined with an explosive temper and a gift for evocation. Loupe might be a wizard but he has the body and soul of a Smith.

Loupe is very interested in making money. To get taken seriously he needs to build a golem, and golemcrafting is very, very expensive. Still, he won't rip people off, and doesn't steal.

Well, Anders is a naive young Sacred Shield Paladin of Alseta (the Goddess of doorways). If you told him 'cad' was short for 'cadet' he'd probably believe you. For a while (he's not stupid, just naive).

He has a reckless streak that may get tempered with experience, and unbeknown to him the Goddes plans to quicken sorcerous powers within him (at level 3). Eventually he will become an Eldritch Knight.

Hey gang,

Sacerdos is following in his father's footsteps as a cleric of Ragathiel. He's proud to do so, signing up in Magnimar even as his father ventured away from the city to join crusaders at the Worldwound. Sacerdos hopes to do so as well, but realizes he has a lot to learn about the lands of his birth and his faith. So the young cleric has taken a vow to travel the lands to develop his skills in both healing and battle.

The young cleric has strong family ties, but few friends due to his near zealot level of loyalty to the Empyreal Lord Ragathiel's tenets. From the point he could speak and read, Sacerdos has been brought up in the worship of Ragathiel, learning how the Empyreal Lord's will is applied across all life. His father took the time to instruct him in faith, combat and the duty Sacerdos had to his family. The wisdom imparted meaning that although the young cleric thrilled to the battle, he took the time to explore the situation before committing to combat on any level.

Sacerdos is chivalrous, will never lie and will put himself before others in defense of the weak or to simply be the first into battle. But deep within him stirs the need to find his own crusade. This is truly why he has taken to wandering the lands of Varisia, leaving behind Magnimar and following where his Lord's will leads him.

Sandpoint to the east seems like as good a place to start as any...rumors of a terror stalking the people, murders and the blasphemous burning of a church. While things may have brightened from those dark events, perhaps there may be more that the town hasn't uncovered. Better to ensure evil is eradicated.

He does enjoy investigation, this bent in his life lends itself to his tactics overall - as mentioned above.

Well, so far there are six of us. 2 Fighters, 2 Paladins, a Ranger and a Cleric. That's plenty of front line martials.

I shall be going Sorceror from level 3, so that will add arcane to the mix, although it is still possible for another to join us. Overall a pretty balanced group.

BTW, anyone other than bedlam planning to specialise in ranged combat?

That makes seven, 4 Martials, a Ranger (skills), a a Cleric (Divine)and a Wizard (Arcane). Sweet!

And 2 paladins make for some divine support, while going Eldritch knight will enable me to offer Arcane support.


Sure! Loupe's mostly about things; building them and blowing them up.

One of my PFS characters is an Inquisitor.

I really like that class, along with my other PFS character--an Alchemist.

I would dare say those two classes are at the top of my preferred list, although Wizard has always been my favored class!

Alchemists are great but I really enjoy the summoner and oracle more. Also something has to be said for a good monk if you have the stats for it.

After the merge happened I got to thinking about the meeting of our two groups, obviously BBM will handle the details and the setting, but what do you all think of helping this meeting along by allowing one or two of the characters from group a and b to already know one another? It doesn't have to be personally, they could have just come across each other during their travels or have found each other in a situation where they had to work with each other. Like I said its just an idea, and it will obviously have to be approved by the gm, I just thought it could lead to some interesting rp moments and help with the meeting of the two groups.

I was thinking prior to the raid yes, after the raid is fine too, but I'll leave the details up to anyone who is willing to go ahead with this idea, and naturally since I am the one who suggested the whole thing, I am willing to place Karl into this little plan.

The man has been around(comes with the territory of being a merc) so he could have met some on a battlefield; cause they were fighting for the same side(different sides if you really want to spice things up), met someone in a village, town, major city or maybe just met them during the carnival.

Alright Im here, Im very sorry to have been gone without letting you guys know where i was, I thought I had posted, but I obviously did not..The hard drive on my computer took a crap and I just got it back from the nerd herd today, and I am ready to go!!


Im thinking that we could have the group meet at the rusty dragon, after the raid, and after the some of the local quests have already been completed, lets assume that between the two groups that we took care of the goblin under the house, and that Karls escapade with Shayless in the basement of her store ended with him killing some rats, Shayless attempting to get Karl into the sack, and that Shayless's father came in at just the right moment to catch it..and with some smooth talking Karl was able to convince her father that everything was on the up and up and that everyone is still on good terms..The group that was tailing Karl outside catch up with him just as he is leaving and heading back to the inn, both groups are now at the rusty dragon, and both groups have just learned that several members of their group have decided to go their separate ways, and everyone is in the common room of the Inn, feeling badly and trying to decide what to do next..both groups are listening to the conversations of the other group and realize that they are all in the same boat, and decide to help each other out and form a new group to continue helping out sandpoint and get to the bottom of the goblin raid...So that is how I envisioned it going, However you guys want to do it is Fine by me..but start off at the Inn, and once the group is formed and introductions made, we will continue on with the story.


Loupe, is that Loot list a consolidation of both groups or the original from just your group?..you you guys want to collaborate on consolidating the groups loot, I will allow it all to be kept, that should help the finances and whatnot of everyone. we have a couple more things to get through and everyone will be leveling before we go to the glassworks.
